Chapter 1002 - 1002 989 The Clan Really Has Good Vision

Chapter 1002: Chapter 989: The Clan Really Has Good Vision Chapter 1002: Chapter 989: The Clan Really Has Good Vision “This level of damage should suffice; if this continues, Daisy might suffer an indelible psychological scar,” remarked a young man in the stands, furrowing his brow in pain. He couldn’t stand watching any longer as such a pretty young girl was treated so brutally; everyone has a soft spot for beauty, after all.

“Hehe, if you feel so bad for her, why don’t you go down there and play the hero? Maybe the young lady will fall for you at first sight,” another teased.

“Do you think the butlers are just for show?” he retorted.

“I mean, she hasn’t given up herself, so why are you all worrying on her behalf?” a girl also observing in the stands couldn’t help but interject.

“The siblings are willing to fight and endure, so why should any of you outsiders care?” This comment immediately won the agreement of a nearby girl, who thoroughly enjoyed watching the spectacle unfold.

After all, with Daisy’s Star talent compatibility over 80%, she had received far too much preferential treatment within the clan; in ancient times, her circumstances would hardly differ from those of a princess.

However, now, the once high and mighty princess was pinned to the ground and mercilessly beaten, with her brother as the perpetrator. To this ordinary young girl, such a scenario was hugely entertaining.

“Enough, over half of the bones in your body are broken. I estimate in less than two minutes, you’ll fall unconscious, so it’s better you admit defeat now. Of course, even if you don’t, it will be the same in two minutes,” Muria said calmly, looking at the bloodied girl in front of him, acknowledging that although she was lacking in strength, she had resilience, which made her a talent worth fostering.

“How do you know that?”

“Of course I know, all the injuries on your body have been inflicted by me. I’m well aware of the extent of your injuries,” he replied.

“If that’s the case, then let me fight until I pass out!” the girls said stubbornly, dragging her increasingly heavy body towards Muria, then threw a punch straight at his face, the spot she was most desperate to hit.

Smack!

Unexpectedly, her palm passed through the protective aura around her brother and landed on his handsome face, producing a dull thud of flesh upon flesh.

“Daisy, are you interested in learning martial arts?” Muria absorbed the punch to his face, looking down at the girl, “As you can see, without Star armor, even with all my defenses down, you can’t hurt me.”

“Hmph!” The girl’s vision was blurring, but upon hearing her brother’s words, she scoffed and then collapsed softly to the ground. Before falling, she issued her final remark,

“Big brother, your skin is really thick.”

After speaking, the girl collapsed straight to the ground, no longer struggling to rise as she had before.

“Send for the medical staff to enter the Arena,” Muria said as he watched Daisy knocked unconscious by his hands, then turned to shout to the butlers in the stands. Soon after, a group of stretcher-bearing medical staff walked into the Arena and carried away Daisy, who was clad in shattered Star armor.

“Considering the medical capabilities of this world, lying in bed for about half a month should be sufficient,” Muria estimated how long his sister would need to recover, before turning around to prepare to leave the Arena.

“Jelos, halt!” Just then, an angry roar echoed through the Arena.

“What’s the matter?” Muria turned his head towards the sky, where a black clad Star Armor Master floated in the air.

“Didn’t one of your servants deliver a challenge to me? Instead of choosing a date, let’s start right now,” the young man fueled by Muria’s actions spoke furiously.

“Start right now? Sure,” Muria agreed without a second thought, having already recovered from the fatigue caused by the battle with Daisy.

Boom! Boom!

No sooner had Muria agreed than a storm-like assault bombarded his position, the furious energy cannon engulfing him completely.

However, this attack lasted barely two seconds before a figure, engulfed in white light, soared out towards the black Star Armor Master.

Bang!

The previous scene repeated itself; facing Muria’s rapid face attack, the black Star Armor Master quickly gathered all his Star armor weapons to defend himself, attempting to block Muria.

But this time, he faced a fully-engaged Muria. All Star armor weapons that collided with the white luminescent mass Muria became exploded into pieces like scattering blossoms, turning into metal shards falling from the sky.

Splat!

A string of dark-red droplets scattered across the sky as Muria’s fist smashed into the abdomen of the black Star Armor Master, shattering the Star armor there completely. The fierce force burst through, along with his back armor exploded, even creating a visible shockwave ring around it.

“You…” In an instant, feeling as though his body had been blasted by Muria, the black Star Armor Master, his spirit faltering, inadvertently loosened his control over part of his Star armor, causing the faceguard shielding his face to fall, revealing a twisted face intermixed with agony and horror.

“To strike so severely!”

“I’d even hit my sister, what do you think you are that I would spare you?” Muria raised an eyebrow and asked, somewhat puzzled, as he faced the male Star Armor Master.

“My compatibility is 81.75%, I am destined to be a core member of the clan, and yet you treat me like this.”

“Not as high as my sister’s, so why do you think you would fare any better than she did under my hand?” Muria looked at the Star Armor Master hanging from his fist, ready to throw him down.

“You hit so hard, aren’t you afraid you’ll kill me?” The Black Star Armor Master spat blood as he asked his final question.

“I am a Martial Artist, and my control over strength is beyond your imagination, so I’m not worried about accidentally killing you, rest assured, it’s painful, but these injuries won’t kill you.”

Muria explained briefly, then he tossed him to the ground; a somewhat teeth-gritting impact sound followed.

“Who else wants to fight me can come forward now, I will entertain you thoroughly,” Muria stood above the Arena and looked towards the audience who watched him unwaveringly.

The entire place fell silent, with no one daring to voice a challenge to Muria at this time.

“Huh, no one’s speaking up? No matter, some of you have received my challenge letters, I’ll give you time to prepare, and when the time comes, I will visit each of you, I hope you won’t run away then.”

That evening, outside the suite where Muria resided, a sharp doorbell rang. The young female servant excitedly ran to open the door, only to see a familiar, aged face upon opening it.

“Young Master, Butler Paris has arrived.”

“Let him in.”

“I apologize for disturbing you at this time of night, Young Master Jelosi,” the impeccably dressed butler said with a cheerful smile as he approached Muria.

“No trouble at all, I was expecting you to come tonight, so it’s not a disturbance.”

“Oh, how did you know I would come to see you today?”

“Isn’t it obvious? After demonstrating such overwhelming battle power today, the clan must have some new thoughts about it.”

“Indeed, today’s battle has certainly caused the clan to see you in a new light.”

“But likewise, some people in the clan probably hold a negative view of me now, thinking I was too harsh today.”

“You worry too much, Young Master Jelos,” Butler Paris said with a smile, also secretly surprised that the young man before him realized he had been excessive.

“Miss Desley hasn’t woken up yet, right? But even if she wakes up in three days, she probably won’t be able to take care of herself for a while.”

“Knowing the significant harm you inflicted on Miss Desley, why didn’t you pull back then?”

“I did pull back, otherwise her injuries would have been much worse,” Muria shook his head, “like the second guy who challenged me today, it will probably take him a month to get out of the hospital bed.”

“Indeed, his intestines were completely shattered by you, and part of his organs were damaged; the hospital is now cultivating new organs for him, which will take some time.”

“Too fragile, simply can’t withstand the destruction.”

“Hm, Young Master Genos, it seems you have some opinions about the clan’s training methods?”

“I do, I think the clan’s training methods are too gentle, the more they enjoy now, the faster they will die in the future,” Muria slowly stated.

“So, did you resort to such slaughter-like actions against Miss Desley in today’s battle?”

“Slaughter?” Muria raised an eyebrow, “Is that how the clan views this battle?”

“It’s only the opinion of some, while others say you were instructing Miss Desley.”

“Hmm, it seems there are still some sensible people,” Muria nodded satisfied.

“So, the clan’s idea is for you to train thirteen clan members, including Miss Desley.”

“Hmm?” Muria’s face showed surprise, “Is that what the clan higher-ups think? Didn’t they see how I treated my sister today?”

“They did, and that’s exactly why they want to hire you as an instructor to train them. We believe you can control your strength to ensure you won’t harm their lives, right?”

“That is true, I have to say, the clan higher-ups really do have insight.”
