Consequently, everyone else in the carriage instinctively quieted down their movements, especially Liang Yi and the stubble-faced man.

Xu Huo glanced at them but didn’t pursue the matter of Liang Yi deliberately luring someone to him, and he went straight into his room to rest.

The afternoon in the carriage was very quiet, except for the delivery robots, no players from the carriage came in or out.

People from the carriage ahead did come over, but upon seeing the situation inside, hesitated a moment then returned.

Xu Huo slept until just before the lights-out, since the train rules require daily expenditures, he ordered his meal right before lights-out and also paid the attendant for a table.

As he ate, players from the same compartment emerged one after the other; besides the three who boarded with Liang Yi, there were two others from outside earlier, and a man and a woman.

The two players engrossed in their communicators, around thirty, seemed indifferent to others, casually picked a spot, leaned there and bowed their heads again, while the two acquainted man and woman had very pale skin, the man was absorbed in a Magic Cube and the woman kept touching up her makeup.

When Liang Yi was attacked, she sought help from Ye Kaihua, but he did not offer a hand. Although they had a friendly chat before boarding, they have since turned cold towards each other. The rebellious-looking stubble-faced man quietly stayed by his room door, not speaking to others nor making eye contact with anyone.

After finishing his meal, Xu Huo checked the time, it was already past lights-out, but the sky outside was still bright. The sun hung overhead without any sign of shifting or disappearing; even inside the train, he could feel the intensifying glare from outside.

"Ding Dong!"

"Welcome dear passengers to this train. The train is currently transitioning from Fourth Dimensional Space to Fifth Dimensional Space Station. We will be speeding through the Daylight Zone for the next three days, with no night within a 24-hour common time system. Please rest appropriately and use your eyes wisely."

"No night, does that mean we won’t encounter Aliens?" asked a man watching an action movie, looking up.

Another player scanned his screen and quietly turned off an emulated human figurine page on his communicator, lazily replying, "Probably, but it’s also possible that the Aliens here are active during the day, who knows if they’ve devolved into blindness."

"These conditions are unsuitable for Alien survival," Ye Kaihua glanced at Xu Huo before continuing, "Similarly, it’s unsuitable for humans. Aliens come from evolved humans and can’t survive here long-term. This train should not face any attack risks in the next three days."

"That’s great." The action movie man turned off his communicator, chatted cheerfully with others, "I’m heading to Zone 003, where are you guys heading? Maybe we can journey together?"

Once someone started, those feeling bored gathered around to chat. Even though it wasn’t clear if it was true, they reported their destinations which were mostly different sections; the action movie man and Ye Kaihua were going to different instances of the same zone.

"Sir, which zone are you heading to?" the makeup-tidying female player closed her little mirror and struck up a conversation with Xu Huo.

"District 002," Xu Huo glanced at her.

The female player exaggeratedly "surprised", "That’s on our way, we’re heading back to District 002 too."

"Are you players from District 002?" Xu Huo showed some interest.

"Exactly," she smiled cheerily, "But this time my brother and I are specifically going back."

"Why don’t you use a Return Ticket for going home? With the Return Ticket you don’t even need this ride." The action movie man spoke.

Upon clearing an instance, players receive a Return Ticket. Unlike regular tickets which require traveling through stations and trains to reach the destination, a Return Ticket directly sends players back to their birthplace, regardless of whether their original zone is fully integrated into the game.

"Return Tickets must be saved for emergencies so there’s no need to hide in a station, considering even stations aren’t safe," the female player said.

"That’s true, Return Tickets are much harder to come by than regular tickets." The player interested in figurines added.

With regular tickets, as long as not the entire zone comprises only instance areas, there’s the option to not start an instance so the ticket remains just a ticket.

"What is District 002 like?" Liang Yi asked.

"Of course, it’s a wonderful place." The female player pointed at her face, "Look how white I am, men and women there all have impeccable pale skin, saving the money on whitening products."

While saying this, she opened her small mirror and admired her face from side to side, "If possible, I really wish to stay in District 002 forever. However, sadly, I still have to come out for instances. I feel I’ve even gotten a bit tanner recently."

The female player, like admiring her own face, talked more about her hometown as others showed interest.

With her chin rested on her hand, the female player added, "Only the top-tier players get to interact with them. I must strive to level-up and someday produce the most beautiful child!"

"If I may ask," the action movie man interjected, "Do those people you mentioned fart or poop?"

Her boastful expression disappeared instantaneously, replaced with overt disdain, "What did you say!"

The man, surprised by her strong reaction, quickly raised his hand, "I was just saying."

However, the female player seemed deeply offended, her eyes cold and menacing, though she shifted her gaze away, she occasionally glanced back at him, creating a chilling effect.

By this time, Xu Huo had already looked up information about E20-002 Zone below the Dimension. After reading through, he closed his personal panel and asked, "When does the beauty contest usually start? Is there a chance to see it now? I’d like to witness such ethereal beauties myself."

The female player smiled again warmly, and eagerly responded, "The beauty contest happens once every three years, and it’s probably in the final voting stage now.
