Gao Zhen not mentioning Ren Man during the conversation meant she would not compromise for the sake of a player; if she were still young and strong, Xu Huo might have had more trouble.

"You can take a gamble," Xu Huo suggested again. "If you guess right, Base W37 City gains an ally."

"But if the guess is wrong, W37’s grand plans may fall through!" Gao Xiaoyan wasn’t unaware of which mattered more, the Base City or Ren Man, but she couldn’t bear to watch the brother she’d grown up with go insane either.

"You can take a big gamble in your first professional game," Xu Huo didn’t give her time to think and said directly, "You all can come in now."

"W37 Base had already verified two years ago that the SE virus is not hereditary, plus what you brought back wasn’t an actual Evolution Potion, but a kind of Gene Disrupting Potion that can mutate genes through injection or ingestion, thereby directly affecting the evolution of the next generation," Xu Huo simply laid out the facts. "If the Gene Evolution Agent is fake, what is the vaccine he gave you?"
