Before the blizzard hit, Xu Huo and his two companions hurried along as quickly as they could, but they had covered less than a third of the forested path when the storm already obstructed their view, making it nearly impossible to move forward.

Xu Huo first took out the "Twisting Pulley," placing four separate wheels on the ground, which automatically adjusted their distance. By putting a plank on top, it could roughly serve as a flatbed trolley. Carrying people wouldn’t be an issue, though its load capacity was uncertain.

Attempting to place "Shelter 101" on it, surprisingly, the pully only sank slightly before quickly lifting the shelter.

"You can come in now," Xu Huo said as he took something from Shangguan Xi and Teacher Ai.

"This prop is awesome," Shangguan Xi exclaimed, "we can travel even while we sleep."

The pulley was movable, but its direction was unreliable. After hearing this, Shangguan Xi added, "That’s not a problem."

He then took out a remote control, "Just preset the direction, and it will guide us along. It’s like having a towline, complete with correction functions."

He directly mapped the route on the screen, then attached the remote control to the wall. A slight tug activated the pulley beneath the shelter.

Xu Huo watched for a while, holding an umbrella; the remote control prop indeed could correct the course. After all, the line Shangguan Xi drew barely qualified as a map, it was more of a rough arc.

"Trust me, there’s no problem," Shangguan Xi confidently claimed, "I’ve used this prop many times before, never had an issue. If we encounter steep terrain, it will stop automatically, it definitely won’t lead us into a ditch."

Xu Huo closed the umbrella and the door, "Aliens probably won’t be active tonight."

Xu Huo nodded and turned to Teacher Ai, "There’s a bed over there."

Teacher Ai, sitting in a chair, declined to move, "I’ll just lean here for a while; you don’t need to treat me like an ordinary person."

Xu Huo said no more and closed his eyes by the window.

Inside the shelter, the noise from outside was almost imperceptible, and the pulley moved steadily. However, as the snow intensified, the pulley was buried, and gradually, the shelter came to a stop.

"Bang bang!" Suddenly, there was a loud banging on the door.

Shangguan Xi, who had been snoring moments earlier, sat up alertly and hung a "Do Not Disturb - Prop" on the door handle.

The noise outside did not cease but grew more intense, as if they would not stop until the door was opened.

"If it were players, they would have given up knowing the difficulty," said Teacher Ai. "It might be Aliens."

Both men turned to look at him at the same time.

Teacher Ai continued, "Don’t think of Aliens as brainless; even animals can mimic humans, let alone Aliens. But they can’t open this door, they will leave naturally after a while."

As he had predicted, the banging stopped after a while, replaced by the shelter starting to move again, but noticeably off its original track.

"Holy shit, these Aliens aren’t trying to push us to their lair, are they!" Shangguan Xi stood up. "Brother Xu, should we get out now?"

Xu Huo was of the same mind, but before he could act, the shelter stopped again, leaving silence in its wake.

After waiting quietly for half a minute, Xu Huo gestured to Shangguan Xi, who moved to the door. Xu then removed the prop and opened the door.

As soon as the door opened, a normal human hand grabbed the edge of the door. Then it was forcefully pulled open, and two figures appeared one after another!

At the same time, a rubber mat popped out in front of the leading player, wedging against the door frame to prevent it from closing, and he chuckled, trying to squeeze through the gap in the mat into the shelter.

Xu Huo didn’t rush to act but used a newly acquired prop, "Sealing Fresh-Keeping Film," over the door. This was a prop that could automatically wrap around objects, though its resistance was low. Thus, when the player took out a Short Dagger, the film tore immediately, but the player didn’t manage to break into the shelter—an entry fee of materials was required for non-owners.

This was somewhat unexpected to Xu Huo, but the next second, he used "Like Repels Like" to repel the man, slashing off the rubber mat on the door before stepping out of the shelter. Following behind, Shangguan Xi quickly shut the door, and they surrounded the two players from both sides.

"The live samples must be there!" Shangguan Xi pointed at the location of a tent and yelled, bypassing the two players in front of him and dashing past.

However, the two players weren’t anxious, nor did they seem to care about his actions. Instead, they both attacked Xu Huo simultaneously!

"Accelerated Solidification!" One of them threw an ice ball onto the ground, from which the surrounding area rapidly froze. The other player poured a bottle of lubricating Potion on the ground, and spikes emerged from their thick boots, ensuring they could move in such extremely slippery conditions.

"With your crappy props, you think you can break through the tent?" the two players jeered with immense confidence in their gear, one of them raising a real gun and firing at the two standing in front of the tent!

Xu Huo slid to avoid the bullets, moving behind the tent only to see its surface ripple. The bullets didn’t hit the tent directly but were blocked outside, and the ripple absorbed the impact, the bullets smoothly falling to the ground.

Raising an eyebrow, he tried to directly break the prop barrier, but his hands felt like they were pushing into soft silicone, the elastic touch absorbing some of his force, and it was as if a thin film was blocking him from breaking through.

"Rebound!" Shangguan Xi threw out a disc-shaped prop, which not only caught the bullets but also sent them spinning back, causing the two side-by-side players to split to avoid their own gunfire.

The two players reacted quickly, holstering their guns and flanking the tent on both sides. One of them clapped his hands together and shouted at Xu Huo and Shangguan Xi, "Friends don’t leave each other!"

Shangguan Xi, already holding a prop, uncontrollably turned under the other’s Characteristics and lunged towards Xu Huo, shouting, "Brother Xu, move aside!"

Without any hesitation, Xu Huo stepped aside, disappearing from his spot. His move might have been in vain, but the Characteristic was evidently for two people; another player, coming from behind the tent, became the substitute and moved toward Shangguan Xi!
