Tan Yang and Pu Kang had their arms and legs broken, and even though they remained conscious, they couldn’t possibly run into the dungeon, so they had no choice but to be resignedly captured by the person in gray robe.

Their blood-stained clothes had been changed, and they were lifted onto wheelchairs and taken into a rest room. Two gray-robed people were in charge of watching over them and said to them, "Please stay calm, the banquet will start shortly."

Tan Yang wasn’t in a hurry at all; inside, he felt desperate and seemed to have already seen his end.

A few hours ago, he was still considering whether to absorb Twin Snakes into the First Association, but after seeing the gray-robed people brainwash Sima Xiao’er and the white-robed people at the resort, he immediately realized that Twin Snakes wasn’t just an ordinary player organization and proposed to leave.

About ten minutes later, they were pushed by the person in gray robe into a dining room that wasn’t very big. There were five tables, and except for several empty seats at the main table, all the others were occupied. These people all wore half-face masks, revealing only their mouths. Judging by their physique and skin, there were old and young, men and women alike.

As soon as they entered, all eyes focused on them, the highly concentrated stares sending shivers down their spines.

Once they were pushed to their spots, a man wearing a mask stepped through the main entrance. He placed his cell phone on a shelf on one side of the room as soon as he came in, and then stood in front of everyone, stating, "I was held up by some matters just now, so I’m a bit late. I hope you all don’t mind."

A guest laughed and played along, "What kind of matter could trip up Master Qiu, unless it was a beauty."

The others joined in the laughter, and the young man known as Master Qiu was quite interested, "A few minutes ago, I got a call saying that one of our gathering spots in Water City was raided by the Special Defense Department."

The people in the room quickly asked how it was handled, to which Master Qiu replied, "Players come and go as they please; what can the Special Defense Department do to them? It was a wasted trip."

Master Qiu then turned to look at Tan and Pu, "Today we have two special guests, let me introduce them to everyone. This is the President Tan Yang and Vice President Pu Kang of the First Association."

"That’s quite the big talk," Pu Kang sneered, "Twin Snakes is nothing but a minor Player Organization, unheard of and insignificant. How could you possibly help the First Association with any troubles? Recruiting some low-level players for half-baked acts, it’s just disdainful!"

Master Qiu stared at him, slowly losing his smile. Then he grabbed Pu Kang’s head and slammed it down onto the dining table. However, instead of smashing Pu Kang’s head to a bloody pulp, it was his own hand that was slashed with several cuts, blood flowing freely!

Pu Kang straightened up and smiled. "I can’t use my limbs, but I have plenty of props!"

"Hiding props in your hair?" As Master Qiu shook off the two people in black robes who were closing in, he grabbed a plate from the table and struck it hard against Pu Kang’s head, then kicked over the wheelchair and started kicking him viciously, shouting, "Who do you think you are to talk back to me? I could crush you with a single finger!"

No matter how good the Defense Prop is, it has to be usable. When Pu Kang fell to the ground, his hands were immediately pinned down by the people in black robes. The Defense Prop barely stopped a few kicks before it failed, and Master Qiu stepped on his face and ground his heel in, spatting, "A little courtesy and you really think the First Association is a pushover, what trash you are!"

"Enough!" Tan Yang couldn’t bear it any longer. "Surely you didn’t spare our lives just to be punching bags!"

Only then did Master Qiu stop. He straightened his clothes, dusted off his hands, and several people in black robes came up, carrying an extra-large plated dish covered tightly. They placed one on each table and brought over an assortment of condiments and dipping sauces, filling the room with a spicy aroma that made many people’s eyes turn green with envy as they swallowed their saliva.

Looking at the covered items that had familiar contours and seeing the reactions of others, Tan Yang had no illusions about what was going on: the room was filled with Cannibal Players, and today’s gathering was prepared for them!

"You’re going to eat us?" He could barely mask his emotion.

But Master Qiu simply chuckled, "Honestly, Black Player doesn’t suit my palate. Too much negative energy and temper, ruins the meat quality."

He walked behind Tan Yang, patted his shoulder, leaned in, and whispered in his ear, "If I wanted you dead, it’d be easy, but I’d rather you joined Twin Snakes. Eat the food on the table, or become the food on the table, it’s your choice."

Tan Yang glanced at his cellphone placed nearby and tried to smile despite the situation. "The camera is on, isn’t it?"

However, Master Qiu’s attention was quickly diverted as a person in gray robe came up to whisper something in his ear. He burst into laughter and proclaimed, "Brave, indeed, to actually find your way here. Open all the doors and windows; we could use a side show for our meal!"

In the lakeside restaurant, with wooden doors and windows pushed aside for an unobstructed view, Master Qiu carelessly sat down at the edge of a table, looking in the direction of the kitchen across the lake. With a gesture, several people in black robes appeared at the steps in front of the restaurant, setting up submachine guns and spraying bullets towards the trees in that direction.

Accompanied by the sound of trees exploding, several figures jumped out from behind, constantly changing positions to dodge the bullets. Amidst the barrage, they looked very beleaguered.

Master Qiu laughed heartily, shouting to the lakeshore, "Here are the people you’re looking for. Can you make it over here?"
