Separated by the lake, players from both sides entered the resort building through different doors. Although there was no communication between them, they could see each other. "So what if it did? It’s a skill to have grown to this scale in just a few months, and with so many Potions at their disposal, they either have capable people or a powerful background. Joining them isn’t a loss. It’s not like they are asking you to really sell your life to Twin Snakes. Just grab the benefits and run if things go south. With Tickets in hand, are you afraid of dying here?" another person commented.

This sentiment represented the attitude of most players present. They were already here, so it wouldn’t hurt to see what sort of Potion Twin Snakes was selling.

Twin Snakes had made thorough preparations. Directly in front of the eighth-floor was a spacious corridor. On one side of the corridor were large floor-to-ceiling windows, and on the other side were about ten doorless small rooms. Each room contained plaster statues, from the intertwining Twin Snakes symbolizing the organization, to the four faceless founders, to several spiritual symbols representing the organization’s beliefs, along with complete textual descriptions, all of which showcased the foundation of the Twin Snakes Organization.

With many players present, the Person in Black Robe couldn’t possibly introduce everything to everyone. Thus, they allowed the visitors to view at their leisure and handed out wristbands to them, stating that they could exchange them for a Potion after the assembly had ended.

Xu Huo walked forward a few rooms, gazing at the statues inside, and said, "Don’t they seem familiar?"

Yan Jiayu, who was beside him, replied, "This Enforcement Guardian looks like a Wrathful Deity, just without a face. With dignity and compassion, detached from nature, they cobble together other’s stuff to deceive people. They must be up to no good."

Xu Huo glanced at the other players in the room and flicked his finger; the Silent Figurine was now in his grasp. "Some of the players who came here tonight are from the Twin Snakes Organization. Some of those who came from across the lake earlier were swapped out. While it appears that everyone is together, in reality, there’s already been a division twice. If nothing unexpected happens, there’ll be a third time shortly."

The first division was during the invitation check. Although it was not clear what had been tampered with on the invitations, it was evident that someone was remotely sorting the players into groups. The Person in Black Robe’s speech served as a distraction, dividing them into four batches, but it’s possible that they were segmented based on the players’ types.

After traveling by car, the other players they saw were no longer those who had left the factory. This was the first division.

The second time was after entering this building. On the surface, it seemed like they were joining up with other players. There were comings and goings, but in the short time just now, the players who came with Xu Huo by car had been diluted and replaced.

Whether it was the invitations or the masks, they were identifiers that facilitated Twin Snakes Organization in recognizing and sorting the players.

The wristbands just distributed are new identifiers, and there will be another more detailed division later.

No sooner had the words fallen than the lights in the room suddenly burst into a strong glare, blinding for two seconds before returning to normal.

"What’s going on!" Guan Sheng, in a protective stance behind Xu Huo, looked at the other players warily.

"Maybe there’s an issue with the electrical current. Why so jumpy?" a player, who had been lingering by the room’s entrance, said irritably: "Making a mountain out of a molehill!"

Guan Sheng and Qian Xuwen exchanged glances and moved closer to Xu Huo in unison, the former suggesting, "Let’s get out of here first."

Xu Huo nodded, and the three of them were the first to leave the room, while Brother Liang’s two companions also summoned Yan Jiayu to go find the Person in Black Robe, since the exhibits weren’t that interesting.

The players gradually assembled at the Person in Black Robe’s location, still numbering over twenty, and took the elevator to the third floor.

The third floor was the assembly area. As the elevator doors opened, the first thing visible was a crowded sea of people, all wearing black robes. Looking back, only six faces were visible.
