"Because you’re more pitiful than I am," Xu Huo twiddled the colorful pom-poms on his clothes as the rainbow light reflected on his comical face, his smile turning into a compassionate sneer. "In the future, you definitely won’t be able to eat sweets, even more miserable than I am."

The candy no longer tasted good in the children’s mouths.

The little boy gave him a hard look, pulling his friends away as they ran. They glanced back from afar, sticking out their tongues and making faces at him.

Xu Huo waved at them and left with an empty backpack.
