The inconspicuous van slowly made its way up the uneven slope, heading deeper into the woods.

The two vehicles following behind slowed down, and the woman driving the lead car said, "Is Hou Song playing games with us? Wasn’t Xu Huo’s car supposed to head back to Ting City? Why is it heading into the deep forests and mountains?"

"Can’t you see what’s happening? We’ve been made," joked the bald man in the passenger seat without concern. "The deep forest has its advantages. Kill someone and bury them on the spot, and I guarantee that even Yama won’t be able to find their soul!"

The woman smiled at this, just about to reply when a loud thud resounded from above. A thick-bladed weapon pierced through the roof of the car, penetrating above her head and emerging again from a broken neck!

The car, now out of control, swerved and crashed into the trees beside it. The thick blade that had killed a man didn’t get pulled out; instead, it continued to slice through the metal roof towards the passenger side!

"Evasive action!" the bald man yelled. He, along with four other players in the back seat, was ejected from the vehicle by some unknown force. They rolled in different directions, and only when they looked up at the car again did they realize that a little girl holding half of a pair of Large Scissors was pulling the blade out from the window.

"She’s one of Xu Huo’s formidable characters. Warn Chen Er and the rest to be careful!" the bald man shouted. However, when his companions turned to look back, they saw that the following car had its roof sliced off, and the heads of several people inside had tumbled down with a loud bang after the car hit a tree!

Before they could recover from the shock, one of them suddenly had both hands clutching his neck as he was dragged backward, facing the person who came out from behind a tree!

"Xu Huo!" The bald man recognized at a glance that the person holding a Sword was Xu Huo. As he was about to move forward, a volley of bullets blocked his path. Sima Xiao’er and two players from the Special Defense Department surrounded them with guns, "Let’s see if you can outrun bullets!"

The bald man was forced to take cover behind a tree, while the player who was caught by the guitar string and dragged in front of Xu Huo suddenly transformed into a straw man!

"Substitute Prop?" Xu Huo cut the straw man in half with a single sword stroke, took out a lighter, and as he turned around, he set the player who used the straw man as a substitute ablaze.

As the weather had turned cooler and everyone was wearing long sleeves and trousers, the flames spread rapidly over the player’s entire body. Stripping off the clothes wasn’t fast enough; rolling on the ground, another player with short hair leaped over and threw what looked like a handful of laundry pods at him.

There didn’t seem to be many pods, but once they burst, they transformed into a splash of water, all pouring down onto the player on fire!

However, at that moment, a series of long hair braided into snake-like strands whipped past, cutting off most of the water and swiftly pouncing on the female player!

The female player backed off, and the substitute player had almost completely torn the clothes off his body. While dodging Xu Huo’s attacks, he produced a water gun made of glass in his hand and pulled the trigger at Xu Huo!

"Panda Strike!" Shen Xin burst out from the side, hitting the player like a cannonball and sending him flying. The bullets that were shot also grazed Xu Huo’s side and hit a nearby tree, where the corrosive liquid splashed out and instantly melted a hole the size of a fist.

"Leave them to us!" Hu Wenhao gave chase.

Xu Huo turned around to survey the area. Sima Xiao’er and his group were restraining the bald man, while Zhou Ning and Liu Jia were dealing with the female player. The remaining two were engaged in a fight with Yan Jiayu.

After a brief pause, he quickly flicked his lighter and set several people on fire. Apart from the bald man who had fortuitously taken cover behind a tree, the other three were struck. The female player was killed by Zhou Ning, while Yan Jiayu took the opportunity to break one person’s arm and kicked the other away!

The situation once again shifted to two-on-one and one-on-one, but just as Zhou Ning and Liu Jia were about to act, the player rubbed three fingers together, and it seemed as if something shattered in his hand. Subsequently, the leaves falling in the forest flew like blades towards Yan Jiayu!

"Watch out!" Liu Jia yelled reflexively, but in her moment of distraction, the player who controlled the leaves suddenly appeared in front of her. She instinctively raised her hand to block the incoming punch, but her shoulder was ensnared by a thin wire that yanked her away!

Xu Huo appeared behind her, swinging his sword forward, driving back the assailant before quickly checking on Yan Jiayu, who had sustained minor injuries. He immediately advised, "Keep your distance from them, their props require close-range activation!"

Yan Jiayu instantly realized, "He hit my shoulder!"

While speaking, she dodged another wave of leaf attacks, swinging the Large Scissors to chop down a nearby tree, and with a flying kick, she toppled it towards the two players.

The people on both sides split up. The player controlling the leaves flipped over from behind a tree, seemingly trying to close the distance with Yan Jiayu.

Yan Jiayu didn’t fall for it and retreated without a second word. The person halted abruptly, because in front of him were Xu Huo and the other two!

"Call You Out, do you dare to respond?" Liu Jia suddenly shouted at him. The player turned his head, only for his vision to go completely dark.

It was literally pitch black; as he turned around, his eyes were covered by something akin to black paper!

The chance for life was fleeting, and Xu Huo instantly changed his position using his guitar strings and swung out with his sword from the side.

One person split into two, but this one was dead. Behind the fallen tree was another, who, seeing the situation, turned and ran without a word.

Yan Jiayu’s movements were the fastest, swinging the Large Scissors like a sweeping machine, non-stop chopping down trees, forcing the player to dodge amidst tumbling timber, throwing a black rat at her as he looked back.

The rat was a prop that, when smashed, quickly divided, and in an instant, dozens of them ran out, fast and able to climb trees!

Seeing Yan Jiayu delayed, the player revealed a smile, but then abruptly saw someone standing in front of him!

"Xu Huo!" He slammed to a halt, but as he looked into the eyes of the person ahead, he suddenly froze.

The advancing Xu Huo glanced at his stiff hands and feet and hooked his neck with his guitar strings, lifting him into the air, only releasing his grip after reaching sufficient height.

The man screamed as he fell from tens of meters high, breaking his limbs but not his breath.

Xu Huo walked over and delivered a finishing sword strike.

On the other side, the rats that Zhou Ning’s snakes had caught were gradually disappearing, leaving only the single toy mouse.

"This thing is quite bothersome." Yan Jiayu picked up the toy mouse and tossed it to Xu Huo.

After Xu Huo put it in his prop inventory, the group returned to their original spot. Shen Xin and Hu Wenhao’s fight hadn’t finished yet, but their opponent was gravely injured and at the end of his strength. Thus, he and Yan Jiayu headed over to where Sima Xiao’er was.

The Bald Head man must have been the strongest of this batch of players, managing to sustain only minor injuries despite taking on several armed players from the Special Defense Department.

He also had combat experience and, after the previous few incidents of fire setting, consciously took cover behind the trees.

Xu Huo didn’t necessarily need to set a fire to deal with him. He exchanged a look with Yan Jiayu, and the two dispersed left and right. Then, he gave a gesture to Liu Jia, who then yelled at the Bald Head man:

"Call You Out, do you dare to respond?"
