Chapter 1321: Chapter 1322

(Edit later) "The role of the vase!" The pursuing player threw a cushion on the ground, and in the flurry, Da Mao’s foot slipped and stepped on it, pinning one of its claws to the ground.

However, this was of little use. The stone lion, filled with brute force, directly dug a hole in the ground. Being stuck on the cushion didn’t matter—it could take the entire floor with it.

Da Mao was difficult to deal with, and Xu Huo and Yan Jiayu were no less challenging. Yan Jiayu engaged in close combat, and when Xu Huo assisted with props on the side, he would sometimes suddenly jump in to attack. After three minutes of fighting, both sides had sustained some injuries.

Looking up, Xu Huo walked up the stairs. As he reached the third floor, he sensed someone rapidly descending from the middle of the building. In a second, he switched into the office floor and placed Shelter 101 directly below him!

The fleeing player was initially using props to move between floors but unexpectedly stepped onto 101. This kind of metal prop from the game couldn’t be broken, and seeing Xu Huo nearby, he raised a crossbow arrow and aimed at him!

The crossbow didn’t launch a solid arrow, but a semi-transparent ice that quickly melted after embedding in the wall!

"You’re not the one I’m looking for." Xu Huo stated his position, and because of this brief delay, the pursuing player had already come down from the floor above, but as soon as he revealed his feet, he was knocked away by a strange force, carving a deep groove in the ceiling, stopping only at the wall.

The next second, two people and a stone lion landed on the same floor as Xu Huo and Yan Jiayu.

"Da Mao, go!" Yan Jiayu called the stone lion to attack, while she stuck a muscle doll sticker on her face, instantly boosting her speed, her body moving like an uncatchable missile, smashing towards the person by the wall!

The player evidently didn’t take her reckless fighting style seriously. With a pat on the shoulder, a blue light arc immediately unfolded in front of him. With the arc for protection, he didn’t even glance at Yan Jiayu but instead focused on the stone lion leisurely running in circles nearby.

However, just as he was about to free his hands to deal with the stone lion, Yan Jiayu, this living bomb, crashed into him—uncertain if there were other invisible defense props on her, but when she hit the light arc, she directly shoved the player through the wall, causing cracks to appear on the light arc!

"What!" The opponent couldn’t hide his surprise, then got thrust against the outer wall of the building by the impact and was bounced back by a barrier on the wall.

Unlike him, Yan Jiayu, who bore the brunt, didn’t appear as disheveled and landed steadily in the middle of the room, furiously wielding the Demon-Subduing Pestle in a flurry of strikes!

With a few "bang bang bang" sounds, a shield prop was cracked. The player quickly avoided, using characteristics to temporarily restrict Yan Jiayu’s speed, then charged towards Xu Huo!

His real target was the government player who hadn’t escaped yet, but just halfway there, a cold flash swept from the side!

The pursuing player hurriedly dodged to the side, and when he raised his hand, dozens of cowhair needles shot from his sleeve.

With the air barrier temporarily unavailable, Xu Huo simply took out Shelter 101, storing it away after placing it out front. During the attack, he simultaneously employed "Extreme Fatigue" and "Progress Bar Disappearance."

The player immediately felt the prop effects applied to his body. Pressing at his cuffs, the clothes he wore rose like scales and flattened again. As the colors of his outfit changed once, they returned to normal, and the fatigue was no longer visible on his face!

Yan Jiayu and the stone lion moved in, and Da Mao, who had been loafing, got a whack on the rear, pouring all its fury onto the pursuing player, forcing him to retreat step by step amid pouncing and tearing.

"The role of the vase!" The pursuing player threw a cushion on the ground, and in the frenzied movement, Da Mao’s foot slipped and stepped on it, pinning one of its claws to the ground.

Nonetheless, it was of little use. The stone lion, enforcing violence, directly dug a hole into the ground. Being unable to leave the cushion was no concern; it could carry the entire floor slab away.

Da Mao was tough to handle, and Xu Huo and Yan Jiayu shared no less of a challenge. Yan Jiayu engaged in melee combat, with Xu Huo occasionally launching surprise assaults while assisting with props. The exchanges lasted three minutes, with both sides taking hits.

The "Ball of Whim" was held by a gigantic mutated avian beast, whose nest was towards Gaomu Forest. After delaying its speed, Xu Huo stored the prop and donned the Invisibility Cloak.

But the Invisibility Cloak didn’t fool the eyes of the mutated avian beast. Free from gravity’s influence, it circled high above, then swooped down toward his position!

The mutated avian beast emerged from Gaomu Forest, and Xu Huo’s landing spot was relatively open. Apart from this not-so-large grove, the other areas were mostly flatlands; even if there were hills, the undulations weren’t steep, and most places appeared quite normal.

Standing with a "Gentleman’s Stance," he leaped into the air, jumped onto the back of the mutated avian beast, and slammed it brutally towards the ground—with gravity manipulated through props, both he and the mutated avian beast now occupied a lower position in the air, at least concerning Gaomu Forest. Thus, this strike suppressed the avian beast to a fifty-meter height from the ground. As it struggled to ascend, a thick, long vine suddenly shot up from the once flat ground, wrapping around the avian beast’s talons and yanking it fiercely downward!

Amid the terrified cries of the avian beast, two more vines sprang from different spots, wrapping around its wings and head. A pull in mid-air directly tore it apart, spreading blood and remains all over the place. Wherever it splattered, the ground began to squirm; at first glance appearing like countless giant insects writhing, upon closer inspection, it was a pile of coiled vines.

The vines churned rapidly, devouring the avian beast’s flesh and blood in no time. Then they sunk back into the ground, writhing for several seconds in the grayish-brown soil before subsiding, adhering to the surface, completely merging with it.

Everything seemed tranquil once more.

Xu Huo stood in mid-air, eyes narrowing slightly as he gazed toward the unending expanse ahead.

[Player Passerby A has been detected reaching the instance’s sub-area. If you reach Twin Cities A Point or Twin Cities B Point before noon three days from now, you will be considered as agreeing to join the instance.]

[Instance information will be provided upon entering either of the aforementioned points.]

[You may hold a simple map.]

It was indeed a simple map, with no topographical markings, only two fixed points labeled A and B, and his current location.

Fortunately, the place he was at now seemed not far from Point A on the map, but he could only head to Point A, as Point B was in line with A, meaning he had to pass through A to get there.

It appeared that this instance area included at least these two cities—the so-called Twin Cities weren’t actually the name of a single city.

The terrain wasn’t conducive to travel, so Xu Huo planned to first attempt a rough distance estimation while airborne.

The surroundings were desolate, and beneath the dimension, he found no additional clues.
