Chapter 1303: Chapter 1304
(Wait for modification) The next second, two people and a Stone Lion landed on the level where Xu Huo and the others were.
"Da Mao, attack!" Yan Jiayu ordered the Stone Lion to pounce on people, simultaneously taking out a muscle toy sticker and sticking it on her face. Her speed instantly spiked, shooting like an unfathomable missile towards the person by the wall!
The Player clearly didn’t take her reckless combat style seriously. With a pat on his shoulder, a blue arc of light opened in front of him. The arc provided protection, allowing him to disregard Yan Jiayu and focus on the Stone Lion jogging around in circles.
However, just as he was preparing to free his hands to deal with the Stone Lion, Yan Jiayu, like a human bomb, slammed onto him—whether or not she had other invisible Defense Props, when she hit the light arc, she directly slammed this Player through the wall, causing a fracture in the arc!
"What the hell!" The opponent couldn’t hide his surprise, and was subsequently pushed against the outermost wall of the building by the force, only to be rebounded back by a barrier on the wall surface.
Yan Jiayu, despite being on the receiving end, wasn’t as bedraggled as him. She landed steadily in the middle of the room, swung the Demon-Subduing Pestle, and launched a chaotic assault!
"Bang, bang, bang," sounded as a Shield Prop was hit to create cracks, causing the Player to quickly avoid. Utilizing some Characteristics, he briefly restrained Yan Jiayu’s speed before heading towards Xu Huo’s side!
His real target was the government Player who hadn’t escaped yet, but halfway there, a cold light flashed from the side!
The pursuing Player hastily dodged and, raising his sleeve, launched dozens of Cowhair Needles.
Air Barrier couldn’t be used temporarily, so Xu Huo decisively placed Shelter 101 in front, collecting it in them, while simultaneously employing Extreme Fatigue and Progress Bar Disappearance for the attack.
The Player immediately felt the effects of Props applied to him. Pressing on his sleeve, his clothing stood up and closed like scales. After a flicker of color through the outfit, he restored himself to normal with no sign of fatigue visible on his face!
Yan Jiayu and the Stone Lion advanced, with the lazy Da Mao getting a slap on the rear, promptly venting all anger on the pursuing Player by clawing and tearing, making this person retreat step by step.
"Vases’ Effect!" The pursuing Player tossed a mat on the ground, which caused Da Mao to slip and step on it, one of its paws fixed to the floor.
But that didn’t amount to much, the Stone Lion embracing violence, directly dug a hole through the ground. Even failing to escape the mat was irrelevant; it could run off with the floorboard.
Da Mao was difficult to handle, and Xu Huo and Yan Jiayu couldn’t spare extra efforts either. Yan Jiayu fought closely, Xu Huo assisted from the side with Props, occasionally ambushing. Within three minutes, both sides suffered damage.
Looking up at a glance, Xu Huo ascended the stairs, and on reaching the third floor, he sensed someone descending rapidly through the middle of the building. In one second, he cut over to the office floor, placing Shelter 101 directly below!
The fleeing Player was utilizing Props to move between floors but unexpectedly stepped onto the Shelter 101. Unable to break through this game-derived metal Prop, he saw Xu Huo beside him and raised a Crossbow Arrow to aim!
Rather than a tangible arrow, the Crossbow Arrow fired a semi-transparent ice which pierced into the wall and quickly melted!
"You’re not the one I’m looking for," Xu Huo clarified his stance, and with this brief delay, the pursuing Player had already descended from the upper floor. Just showing a pair of feet was knocked sideways by a peculiar force, cutting deeply through the ceiling and halting by the wall edge.

This was an opportunity for Xu Huo—as this was a test left by an older forebear, he could leverage and study it either from dungeon venue control or spiritual power control.
After having dinner outside, they returned to the Zhuang Family. The Zhuang brothers had long moved from anxiety to resignation, now feeling helpless. They couldn’t ascertain Xu Huo’s intentions, swinging between danger and safety, with the fear of mishandling affecting other family members, or harm befalling Little Baldy or unforeseen incidents occurring.
All in all, they viewed Xu Huo as a ticking bomb that could explode at any moment, but dared not detonate him early.
Xu Huo stayed at the Zhuang Family’s residence for five days, during which he successfully accessed the core layout of the dungeon venue using the Door of Idealism.
The dungeon venue had indeed been dismantled, though done cleverly, based on the house’s layout—rooms inhabited by Zhuang Shanyu, including the bedroom, living room, and kitchen formed a whole segment, with a thin partition between this segment and surrounding houses. This partition could be likened to thin gauze, yet its essence was a special metal.
Underneath the metal partition, the control of powers would not affect other areas and the effort required was relatively reduced.
The Zhuang brothers were both Grey Players, but neither had strong Evolutionary Power. Zhuang Shanbo was slightly better, yet Zhuang Shanyu managed attacks purely relying on the dungeon venue’s inherent layout.
Within special environments, spiritual power could achieve multiplied effects. Initially, when Xu Huo had just evolved but couldn’t project spiritual power outward to interfere with reality, the simulation at The Seventeenth Hospital achieved similar results.
Overviewing the area, it was divided into four sections: the orchard stood alone, Zhuang Shanbo’s residence was separate, occupied left and right equally, but these sections weren’t fully partitioned by metal. The orchard was open-ended, the house had doors and windows, with only the last back beam of the house being fully enclosed.
Outwardly, it appeared like a solid support, yet inside there was a small gap remaining—without having spatial-oriented Super Evolution, Xu Huo might not have found it.
