Of course, if any of those four potentially corresponding to the second slip realize or suspect they won’t receive a slip, they might choose to destroy found slips or commit murder—though this possibility is slim.

Most likely, everyone will try to ensure they hold onto a slip.

If a third person guessed this method, they would likely also keep quiet, hoping to find their corresponding slip in the process.

But Xu Huo isn’t playing this game.
