Xu Huo and the others split up, while Gu Yu and the Shen siblings, Shen Xin and Shen Yi, ran towards Wu Qiuyi’s direction.

At the same time, Lin Pei and Ke Liang, who had dispersed from them, also appeared to the left and right of Wu Qiuyi, with all six people encircling the Alien from two sides.

In terms of speed, they were no match for the Alien, so when the Alien arrived at the target area from several streets away, they had just reached the small buildings on both sides.

"We did it!" Lin Pei exclaimed excitedly.

The Alien, aflame all over, rolled on the ground in agony, occasionally raising its head to let out sharp cries. Gu Yu took this chance and shot twice at its feet, and puffs of blood burst forth. The Alien screamed again and then plunged into a nearby building!

"Strike while the iron is hot!" Ke Liang leaped down and charged in, followed closely by Shen Yi.

"Don’t go in!" Lin Pei shouted from the building, but it was a step too late. Ke Liang, who had gone in first, was thrown out embracing a solid wood cabinet, colliding with Shen Yi, who was two steps behind. The two rolled onto the opposite street and before they could get up, the Alien had thunderously landed on the cabinet above them!

When the Alien reappeared, the fire on its body had gone out. Gu Yu fired two more shots from above, but unexpectedly, the Alien turned its head and caught the two bullets with its hand!

The ammunition for the Rainbow Gun wasn’t infinite; one less was shot with each shot. Gu Yu had saved the most powerful white bullet for sealing the cage, so she had just fired two green bullets. These bullets could corrode items like paper, cloth, and other not so hard materials, and of course, they were harmful to humans as well, but the Alien caught the bullets, let them melt in its hand, seemingly feeling no pain from the corroding in its palm.

Not only that, but it seemed to have located Gu Yu’s position. It picked up the cabinet to knock Ke Liang and Shen Yi away, then spun on the spot and hurled it!

The cabinet, with the force of a shell, exploded where Gu Yu was hiding. The splintering wood shavings were akin to a secondary attack, and even though Gu Yu and Shen Xin retreated in time, they still suffered numerous cuts, especially Gu Yu, with wood splinters embedded in her face and arms.

"I make my living with my face!" Gu Yu bellowed in rage, once again rushing to the edge of the rooftop, raining down a barrage of gunfire at the Alien!

Of course, this was her ideal situation, using the height advantage to suppress the Alien on the ground. In fact, after she fired just two shots, the Alien leapt from the edge of the rooftop, its fingers slicing toward her wrist.

"Crack!" The Prop Gun broke upon impact.

Gu Yu, holding half of the gun, looked shocked. If she hadn’t recoiled quickly enough, it would have been her arm that broke!

"Swish!" A large net was thrown from the building opposite, ensnaring the Alien and pulling it down from the building.

"What are you spacing out for!" Lin Pei yelled in anger: "Run now!"

Gu Yu turned and ran, but out of the corner of her eye, she saw the Alien swinging in mid-air, tearing through the net. Before she could leave the building, the Alien had already escaped and was climbing rapidly upward holding the net rope!

Startled, Lin Pei hastily discarded his prop, but by then, the Alien had grabbed onto the edge of the rooftop. It flung the net rope, pulling him over to the ground, then leapt downstairs, dragging Lin Pei towards the ground!

"Catch!" Shen Yi shouted from not far away. Lin Pei, facing upwards to the sky, suddenly saw a bungee cord flying towards him, and he hurriedly grabbed it, while the other end was held by Ke Liang, who shot out more than ten meters away, instantly tightening the bungee cord!

Suspended at the height of the second floor, Lin Pei dangled from a net cord beneath his feet and clutched the bungee cord in his hands, his body slanting in the air, still in a perilous situation.

At that moment, the Alien suddenly let go, and he uncontrollably shot towards the rooftop, slamming into the wall and then tumbling down, landing right where Shen Yi and Ke Liang had been thrown into disarray, with a metal bar piercing through his foot!

A sharp object pierced through his foot, and Lin Pei was nailed to the spot. He forcefully swallowed his cry and looked back at the Alien, only to find it had been sent flying, while Shen Xin stood there, motioning him to be silent.

"Chirp—!" A loud and shrill cry rang out, sounding like some kind of bird.

The Alien, just crawling out of the rubble, was immediately attracted by the sound and turned towards the source, running off without looking back.

"What’s happening over there?" Lin Pei pulled the steel bar out of his foot.

"It’s Wu Qiuyi, she said she’s going to lure the Alien to the main street." Shen Xin spoke quickly, then said, "I’ll go over there to help first!"

The rest of them rushed over one after another. When Ke Liang passed by, he stopped for a moment, "Can you still walk?"

"You go first, I’ll be right there," Lin Pei responded, watching his figure disappear, then turned and walked in the opposite direction.

Meanwhile, Wu Qiuyi was frantically running for her life. As she dashed along the street, whenever the Alien was about to lose interest, she would make a sparrow chirping sound. The Alien seemed to be particularly sensitive to this sound; several times it was attacked and tempted to change its target, but hearing the chirp would make it immediately turn and follow her.

She used this to her advantage, coupled with Gu Yu and others delaying the Alien’s steps, and perilously led it to the main street.

The obstacles on the main street had been cleared away, and Xu Huo, holding the Crimson Sword, stood in the middle. Seeing Wu Qiuyi repeatedly luring the Alien back to the center of the main street, he couldn’t help but shout, "Get out of the way!"

Wu Qiuyi also wanted to step aside, but the Alien’s speed was simply too fast. She had no chance to escape, merely evading its deadly pursuit had exhausted all her strength!

Seeing she was getting closer and closer to Xu Huo, she suddenly made up her mind, "Attack! Cut it together with me!"

"What are you talking nonsense for!" Gu Yu’s angry voice came from the rooftop, "Shen Yi, pull her up!"

Her voice momentarily drowned out all other noise, causing the Alien chasing Wu Qiuyi to turn its head.

"Chirp!" While catching the bungee cord Shen Yi had thrown, Wu Qiuyi drew the Alien’s attention back to her.

"You go first!" Xu Huo stepped back onto bundles of dolls, and dozens of them began to cry out at once.

As the distance between them rapidly closed, Wu Qiuyi planned to retreat once it was close enough, but unexpectedly, a feral roar accompanied by thuds suddenly came from the town’s direction.

It was the Aliens in the trap!

The sounds from the fight outside had still disturbed them.

"It’s alright; they won’t get out for a while!" Xu Huo’s words had hardly faded, when a small Alien suddenly let out an angry cry and came screeching to a halt before darting out onto the street!
