Becky stepped out of her Rolls Royce with her bodyguard closely following as she progressed into her skyscraper building.

It was the office of her new record label, Heattime Record.

There were quite a lot of people outside taking pictures and trying to draw her attention, but she was only focused on getting in, as she appeared to be in haste.

After getting past the crowd, she finally entered the building, but what she encountered first made her jaw drop.

"Becky, I am sorry. Please!"

Becky’s eyes widened in shock as she recognized the man who had just bumped into her from nowhere.

"Jaime?" Her voice cracked at that word.

Jaime nodded at once, his face filled with sincere dismay.

"Jaime, what the hell are you doing here?! Who let him in?!" Becky glanced at everyone around as she asked.

"I said, who let him in? Because I am making sure that person is fired!" she added.

"I am... I am so sorry ma’am. He has been here for days. We tried sending him away, but he keeps coming back. I don’t know why," one of the exterior security officers said, his voice faint as he was certainly afraid of losing his job.

"Then you let him in? Gosh!"

Becky turned back to Jaime, who was on his knees, watching him feel exactly what she had felt when he left her.

"If you know what is good for you, Jaime... You should leave right now before I call the cops on you. Get out!" Becky barked.

"No, please. No, Becky. You have to hear me out, okay? I still love you. I always have. You have to give us a second chance, and I promise you will not regret it. Please, Becky. Please," Jaime begged, his voice etched with both sadness and frustration.

And it was as if he would die to get Becky back, which was sadly impossible.

"I already regretted giving you the first chance... And I am not letting you have a chance to ruin my life again. Look, Jaime. We both know why you are back here. I am not a child..."

Becky chuckled as she shook her head.

"I now have a man. Someone who loves and cares for me. A truly loving man. Not some pathetic scum like you."

"A man?" Jaime suddenly furrowed his brows as he asked. "Oh come on, Becky. We both know you are single. That is why I am back here, because I know you still love me. Please, Becky... One last chance and I will not ruin it."

At that time, Becky was already getting too furious, and she clenched her fists, remembering all that she had gone through because of him.

The best thing was to walk away, she thought... But just walking away would not heal the pain enough.

"I do not give second chances, Jaime... My man taught me that," Becky said as she walked away, then signaled one of the security men. "Throw him out."

"This is the last time you should be letting him anywhere around here, or else... You all will answer for it," she added before walking away.

What she had just done? No pain. No remorse.

He thought about it and figured that he would have to confront the royal family face to face to show how worthy he was to her father.

Sure, that might just be the craziest thing to do, but he knew he would just be a ghost friend if he did not show himself to Camilia’s family, and Prince Kael might just marry her before he realized it.

Fortunately, a straight opportunity came.

Heston Frost would be hosting a banquet today in the family lounge. It was stated that Prince Kael would be present as well, and Jayden would be happy to confront him.

He had already arranged his plans with Camilia, so she met him somewhere before they headed there together.

Actually, the main plan was that Camilia and Kael would arrive at the banquet as a couple, but surprisingly, she was nowhere to be found when Kael arrived, getting him completely furious.

Everyone settled in the lounge, with Camilia still not showing up. Due to her absence, everything was paused, as they waited for her.

Heston got worried, perhaps thinking she was in trouble... Kidnapped actually, since he had tried calling her and she was not picking up.

All the family members were there. Some had their faces red, while others looked dark... All with different reactions to what was happening.

Kael remained angered as he roamed around, constantly frowning at everyone, especially Heston, her father.

Camilia showed up, but not alone.

A young handsome man dressed in a brown suit with glasses on was walking alongside her, and the entire room was soaked in gasps the moment they saw him.

Camilia maintained a smile, walking confidently as she approached her father, ignoring the hot gaze that Kael threw at her.

Upon approaching her father, she confidently sighed before uttering,

"Father, meet my fiancé, Jayden Cole."
