Chapter 65: The Great and Future Queen

Chapter 65: The Great and Future Queen

"God Wolf."

Sunny looked over his shoulder as the Dwarves’ commander entered the Throne Hall, his expression expectant.

"What happened?" Sunny inquired, his voice calm yet authoritative.

"The remaining enemy soldiers all surrendered... What should we do with them?" the commander asked, awaiting instructions.

"We don’t take prisoners... Star, see to this," Sunny instructed, his gaze hardening.

"Yes, my King." Star nodded, acknowledging the grim order.

Sunny turned to Josephine. "Split into two groups... Take down the Humans and Xenons... Send them a letter; they should leave the planet or die... They have one hour to decide... And the Dragons, I will take care of them."

"One hour? Why is that?" Josephine asked, a hint of surprise in her tone.

"You will reach their cities in one hour," Sunny explained, then added, "Jinx and Ellen will join me."

Josephine and Star exchanged a look, a silent understanding passing between them, then nodded and walked away. Meanwhile, the mercenaries, with stern efficiency, guided the beastmen and women outside, leading them towards the waiting Warships.

"Both of you, come with me," Sunny commanded, and then turned, heading purposefully towards the exit.

Ellen and Jinx looked at one another.

"Stay close," Jinx advised, her voice low, as she followed Sunny.

Ellen glanced at the corpse of the Ogre, a grim reminder of her action. She exhaled and quickly fell in behind the two.

[Pirates’ Planet.]

Nioh, Nicolas, and Blood Eye sat in their tent, their faces etched with surprise as they stared at each other.

"Is the King seriously asking us to accomplish this in one month?!" Nicolas exclaimed, a deep frown creasing his brow.

"Yes... Building countless manufacturing buildings here will take months, how are we going to do it in one month?!" Blood Eye echoed, her voice incredulous.

"We initially came here to transport your people, but the King gave us a new order... Rather than transporting them, let them stay back and help control the manufacturing buildings..." Nioh stood up, moving to a corner of the tent, his mind clearly working through the logistics.

"We are tasked to build an arsenal, a building that manufactures battleships and warships! Not only that, we are also going to build farms and other food production facilities... Oh! I forgot armors, and even houses! The King wants to build a whole town in one month, who can achieve that?" Blood Eye articulated the daunting list, her frustration evident.

"Indeed, it sounds impossible, but don’t forget something," Nioh said, turning back to the two of them.

"The King said, ’No matter the cost, we must complete this task’... And we have 60,000,000 mercenaries to assist the people... Most of all, we can buy as much construction robots as needed."

He walked towards them, placing both his palms flat on the table, his gaze intense as he looked between them. "We need a lot of materials... I mean a lot, and we can’t have them by sitting here and complaining... This is a very important task, and the King handed it to us... Why? Because he trusts the three of us to accomplish this."

He straightened up, his posture resolute. "A war is coming soon; we need all these supplies, we must have our own warships, battleships, and food... We must be prepared." he added, emphasizing the urgency.

Nicolas and Blood Eye looked at each other, a flicker of understanding passing between them, and finally nodded their heads. "You have a point... He said no matter the cost," Blood Eye conceded, then turned to Nicolas. "How much Galaxy Crystals are needed for this project?" she asked, her tone now practical.

"More than three hundred billion," Nicolas answered, a slight grimace on his face.

"No... We must ask for the complete budget; we don’t want to disturb the King later for this issue... I say one trillion," Nioh proposed, his eyes unwavering.

"....?!!!"

".....!!"

Nicolas and Blood Eye turned to Nioh in shock.

"One... One trillion?!" Blood Eye stammered, disbelief evident in her voice.

"The King used seven trillions for just mercenaries... He has more for this," Nioh stated, holding their gaze.

"Yeah... Why don’t we increase it to 1.5 trillion?" Nicolas suggested, a newfound boldness in his tone.

"I think, two trillion is enough," Blood Eye said, her eyes now gleaming with ambition.

Nioh raised an eyebrow, a flicker of amusement in his thoughts.

’These two haven’t seen such an amount in their whole life, but now, they’re calling it like it isn’t money.’ He then spoke aloud:

"Okay then... Two trillions... We must complete all the buildings in one month!" He said, and then, with a focused expression, activated his cosmic brain.

"Let’s report to the King," he declared, tapping Sunny’s number on his holographic screen.

[Star Empire.]

[In One of Matilda’s Hideouts.]

The three brothers stood in a huge, dimly lit chamber, their expressions grim and determined.

"Are you sure this will work?" one asked, a hint of doubt in his voice.

The leader, the one who had fought Lord Vancouver, turned his gaze towards the queen-size bed, where a box lay, containing a dried-up heart.

"Yes... The great Queen must be resurrected... Let’s just hope that elf is a suitable host," he said, his voice cold and devoid of emotion.

"Lord Jabez... As the first death out of the ten of us... You should have more clarity than us," another said in a low voice, almost a murmur.

Jabez looked at him over his shoulder, his red eyes glowing for a second, then dimming. "Hope is useless; all that matters is the resurrection of the Queen," he asserted, his conviction absolute.

"What about Matilda?" the third brother inquired.

"Her soul will either be consumed, or it’ll fuse with the Queen’s soul; either way it goes, we’ll benefit... We just need her to perform the ritual," he explained, then turned to the two.

"Alastor, and Andras... Go, it’s time... I will start the preparation."

The two bowed in unison and, with a subtle shimmer, disappeared from the room.

Jabez raised his head towards the unseen sky above, a faint smile gracing his lips.

"My Queen, the ten deaths will resurrect you, no matter what happens... We will bring you back," he vowed, his voice a chilling promise.

[Planet Zax.]

[Human Faction.]

[Sitting Room.]

The leader of the Human faction on Planet Zax sat with his wife, both staring at a scroll lying on the table between them.

"Aren’t you going to open it?" the woman asked, a hint of confusion in her voice.

"The guard said it came from the Beastify Nation? Josephine is simply requesting for help again," the leader, a middle-aged man with striking blue eyes and blonde hair, said with a bored, dismissive expression.

"Still... You should check it out," the woman urged.

"Really?! If you are so curious, open it," he retorted, pointing at the scroll, and then stood up, clearly intending to leave.

His wife picked up the scroll and unrolled it. The moment her eyes scanned its content, she gasped. "It’s a war letter! She is waging war against us!"

".....??"

The man spun around, his bored expression replaced by shock. "What?!!"

He rushed forward, snatched the scroll from her hand, and began to read it aloud, his voice gaining urgency with each word:

"City Head, or whatever you are called... Sorry for forgetting your name, you’re insufficient... I sent you this letter to avoid bloodshed on your side... This is what you have... No, need to do... Pick up your ass, and evacuate everyone from that city of yours... I will reach the city in 40 minutes at most... By then, no one should be inside, or else..."

He paused, his eyes widening in alarm, then looked up at his wife, who urged him to continue.

"Or else, I will level your people and the city to the ground... The Ogre faction has been wiped out from existence, you don’t want to be next... Your future Queen; Josephine."

".....?!"

The two were stunned into silence, the implications of the letter sinking in.

"What made her this arrogant?" the woman finally asked, her confusion warring with a growing sense of dread.

"That’s not the serious part; she said the Ogres have been wiped out... By her! The Ogres have at least ten thousand soldiers, and she wiped them out... Which means she has the strength to wipe out this city of only 5,000 soldiers," he stated, his expression grim and defeated.

His wife stood up, a serious expression settling on her face. "She said in less than 40 minutes; we don’t have any time to call for reinforcement." she pointed out, the urgency palpable.

"Reinforcement? From who?! Commander Joshua placed us here to mine the minerals..." He sighed, a profound weariness in his voice.

"Commander Joshua is dead, and also a traitor; no one will help us... I say, we retreat." He dropped the scroll onto the table, the parchment fluttering to a rest.

"I will stay back and see her force... Send the word out, all civilians should get to the transport ships... While the soldiers should get ready... If she’s just barking with no bite, I will personally deal with her."

"We have at least 2,000 civilians who moved over... And 5,000 soldiers, we can’t evacuate everyone in 40 minutes," she pointed out the insurmountable logistics.

"I know, just do it... I will make time," he said, his voice firm, leaving no room for argument. His wife finally nodded and rushed out from the sitting room, the weight of their precarious situation pressing down on her.

____

[Xenon Faction.]

[Garden.]

A lady with striking blue skin, clad in a flowing silver dress, walked gracefully down the garden path, a cup of red wine held delicately in her hand.

A faint smile graced her lips as she listened to her second-in-command, who was reading from a scroll.

"Your future Queen, Josephine," the girl finished, looking up at her princess.

"My princess—"

"—Is that all?" the princess interjected, cutting her off smoothly.

"Yes... What should we do?" the girl asked, awaiting instruction.

"Nothing... My father sent me here to watch the mining crew... We only have 1,000 soldiers, and 3,000 miners." She stopped, gracefully squatted, and delicately picked up a vibrant rose flower.

"You know why?" she asked, her voice calm.

The Xenon girl shook her head, confused.

"Because we are after the Minerals, not some land; we already have a lot of planets..." She inhaled the delicate scent of the rose.

"Send word to the miners; they should stop working and pack the thousands of minerals gotten to the transport ships... They should deliver it all to my father... I will stay behind with 500 soldiers."

"Huh? Why?" the girl asked, surprised by the unexpected decision.

"Come on now." The princess dropped the rose to the ground, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"We can’t just leave without welcoming our guests... Can we?"
