Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse
Chapter 3866: Glyph! III

Chapter 3866: Glyph! III

With his other hand, Noah called more meat into his mouth. Another bite. Another shock of glorious clarity. The rhythm of chewing, of swallowing, of refining- each one brought him closer to the completion of what even he had once thought unattainable.

And as he knelt there, bare-chested under the storm of mist and glyphlight, the taste of the early world on his tongue...

He felt the first glyph of his new journey burn into existence!

He sat in silence, the remnants of his last bite still resting on his tongue- salt, sweetness, a richness that whispered of existence long gone. The early marine flesh had melted across his being, accelerating his growth until...

HUUM!

The hum grew into a deep resonance, like a bell ringing not into the air and instead into the fabric of existence itself.

Waves of incandescent multicolored light erupted from his body. Lattices of existence spun upward, twisted with harmonic rhythm around a singular point glowing on his forehead. It swirled like a miniature galaxy being born- ravenous, beautiful, and unshakably alive.

Then...

A Glyph snapped into place.

Not gently. Not quietly.

It erupted like a celestial brand, searing into the space between his brows, its radiance swallowing the mist and momentarily silencing even the symphony of Living Existential Authority that pulsed from the trees.

Prompts began to unfold before his senses, threading their way into the air like carved scripture written in golden air.

You have formed a Basic Early Living Existential Glyph.

Half of your Complexity Quotient and Purity Quotient has been condensed to form the Glyph.

Multiple complex authorities vied for dominance within the convergence. A singular one emerged triumphant.

The Basic Early Living Existential Glyph of the Protagonist has been born.

...!

The Protagonist!

The multicolored swirling above him dimmed and then narrowed, all hues bleeding away as the Glyph turned gold.

Not the pale shimmer of gold. A deeper tone. Saturated. The kind of gold that felt earned. Lived. Fought for.

Like a living brand, the glyph spun and reformed, its core image resembling a spiral tower with countless etched paths curling inward, every step layered with invisible burdens and invisible victories. Etched around the tower were rising figures- struggles, allies, fragments of vast stories orbiting the central concept.

Noah blinked once as his breathing slowed, absorbing the next message.

Basic Early Living Existential Glyph of the Protagonist: A Living Glyph born from the woven accumulation of myriad sources of conflict, growth, and responsibility. This Glyph harmonizes with the weavings of countless Origins and complex choices, granting the bearer an unparalleled capacity to endure, adapt, and command entanglements. Its nature aligns closely with early narrative of Creatures. The Protagonist is not necessarily the strongest, but the most Entangled.

More lines came.

Early Living Existential Glyphs are classified by the amount of compressed Complexity Quotient (CQ) and Purity Quotient (PQ) that forms them.

1 Million CQ + PQ = Basic Glyph.

10 Million CQ + PQ = Refined Glyph.

100 Million CQ + PQ = Eminent Glyph.

1 Billion CQ + PQ = Kleos Glyph.

...!

Noah stood slowly.

Ruination and the Infiniverse Body were still condensing their Glyphs.

But...

The air moved differently now. The Early Veiled Shore, with all its blessings and mysteries, seemed to fold slightly inward around him- as if the land had acknowledged a new inhabitant of weight.

And yet, as he stood beneath the silvered mist with the golden glyph glowing like a sun above him, he frowned.

There was a tug.

A familiar one.

A thread embedded in the maze of his entanglements suddenly hummed to life. It pulled gently not in desperation and instead in reverent request. A voice followed it, and with it, a memory of a soul he had long cast to the periphery.

Someone he thought dead!

Bob.

Bob!

Musing of words arrived. They arrived from the entanglement itself- an emotional script etched in sincerity and sorrow that flowed into his mind

I want to say thank you. Immeasurably so. Whether the Living Seed of Existence you granted me was purposeful or by sheer coincidence... thank you. With it, I was able to bring my daughter back. My sins are mine. Her records are clean. So I ask of you- please. Take her under your banner.

I know I ask for a lot. I know you have no reason to accept. It may mean nothing to you... but to me, it is everything. What is inconsequential for others is everything to another. I give you my everything. Please... take it. Protect it. Protect her.

The voice trembled in Noah’s ears- clear and hollow. It was not begging. It was not groveling. It was resignation. It was the surrender of a man who had fought a thousand battles and had only one wish left.

If you need a reason... then know this: I have sent memories with her. Of Thauron. Of a Living Origin called Altheon. One who knows your name of Ozymandias. One who may already be seeking you. If she remains alone, they will sense her. They will sense that half her Living Origin stems from you, and I do not wish to cause you any problems. Protect her, please. If not for me... then for that reason.

HUUM!

The words dissolved.

Noah’s eyes darkened.

He stood still, golden light humming off his shoulders, the Glyph of the Protagonist beating with slow and terrible rhythm across his forehead.

He had not reached out to Bob.

He had not asked to become entangled in another soul’s redemption.

But...many things were made possible from this entanglement. From Bob to Thauron to Altheon to many other things in between.

And so... the echoes of Bob’s voice rested against the edge of his conscience.

So small a request. So heavy its weight.

He looked at the Wok still sizzling. At the trees slowly bearing fruits that could alter destinies. At the waves that held ancient strength. And at the sky, where his dominion stretched into impossible heights.

He exhaled.

A hand rose to his forehead as the golden glyph shined brighter.

Then...

He vanished.

The Early Veiled Shore stood still.

A whisper of wind. A flicker of mist.

And then silence!
