Chapter 594: Chapter 3: Swimming Pool Conflict_2
Her waist was slim, her hips full and round. Her hair at the tips was lightly curled, skin pale and fair. Every smile, every frown, an irresistible tease to every eye.
An Xiuru was like a swan, her slender legs glowed with the healthy color of a pallid white fish-belly. Water droplets clinging to them slid down her smooth skin, leaving many men fantasizing about licking them - especially the ones who were planning to hit on her. However, the sight of her taking the initiative to greet Tang Zheng filled their hearts with disappointment.
With a loud splash, Tang Zheng dove into the pool and began to dog paddle a short distance.
"What on earth are you doing?" An Xiuru jumped into the pool and laid herself beside him, smiling at Tang Zheng. "Are you telling me you really can’t swim?"
A series of snickers spread through the pool. Men jealously eyed An Xiuru and envied Tang Zheng. Among them, a few members of the men’s swim team, in particular, laughed out very loud.
These guys were overflowing with superiority, believing an exquisite woman like An Xiuru was only worth their attention.
"Haha, land duck. Need me to teach you how to swim?" A tall and burly man, wearing only a small triangular swimsuit, climbed out from the pool and sauntered over. He casually bragged, "I offer teaching for free. I’m a provincial champion with the right to participate in the Olympic preliminaries, you know?"
Tu Jinxin strutted with his chest out and head held high. The 1.8 metre-tall man with a muscular physique was indeed a sight to behold. He wore a snug pair of trunks to highlight the generous lower body.
"How should I address you, beautiful?" Tu Jinxin flashed what he reckoned to be his most handsome smirk. He turned to Tang Zheng, condescending him on purpose, "Is he your little brother? It’s not late for him to learn how to swim. Although his form is disastrous, and it may take a while to correct, I’ll be glad to help. After all, I am a provincial champion."
Tu Jinxin looked at Tang Zheng with an air of a mature adult, compelling Tang Zheng to concede. His championship status had always been his sure kill charm, luring in young girls, and making them unable to resist showing him off to their friends.
"There’s no trouble at all, I’ll be his instructor." An Xiuru held back any offensive words due to her disciplined upbringing, however, the coldness in her tone was palpable, indicating her stern rejection.’
"No worries, I don’t mind," Tu Jinxin remained clueless, adamantly sticking to his insistent and intrusive behavior. Being a core player in the provincial swimming team, he was prideful and was under the impression that if he exhibited his charm, the gorgeous woman before him would be hooked.
"What a gem." Tu Jinxin glanced at An Xiuru’s chest, lamenting internally. It must have been caressed by that youngster already, he thought with resentment. Thus, gnashing his teeth, he looked at Tang Zheng, suppressed his jealousy and chuckled, "You won’t progress with your swimming by practicing here. Let me find a coach for you."
"Qingqing, come over here." As the leader of the swim team, Tu Jinxin hollered towards the nearby pool, and a girl of about 20 years old obediently left the pool and ran over.
She was wearing a swimsuit, and since her breasts were quite big, they jiggled attractively as she rushed over.
"Kiddo, she’s a beauty from the diving team sacrificing her time to help you, aren’t you grateful?" Tu Jinxin laughed, "Aren’t you going to thank Brother Tu? Oh right, even if you can’t help yourself, I’ll give you her phone number. Don’t be discouraged."
Tang Zheng swam back, but this time, he wasn’t dog paddling.
"Tu team!" The girl in the swimsuit stood in front of Tu Jinxin, looking deferential and a little uneasy.
"Qingqing, teach him how to swim." Tu Jinxin was satisfied with Qingqing’s demeanor, as it demonstrated his stature. Nothing was more enjoyable than demonstrating his power in front of women.
An Xiuru initially planned to ignore him and swim away, but when she saw Tang Zheng swimming back, she halted.
"But I need to practice, there’s a competition coming up..." Qingqing glanced at Tang Zheng. Despite his good looks, she was not averse to helping him, but she truly lacked the time. The preliminaries were about to begin, and every minute was precious to her.
"No buts. If you can’t learn to relax, what use is aimless practicing?" Tu Jinxin lectured Qingqing with an air of righteousness, "Not using your brain, you could practice all your life and still not make it to the official team."
"Tu team, I..." Qingqing looked pale and near tears, she wanted to argue but Tu Jinxin quickly shut her down.
"What do you mean ’you’? Hurry up and go." Tu Jinxin said this and then ignored her, looking toward An Xiuru, "Don’t worry, she will definitely teach your brother well."
The swimwear-clad girl named Qingqing jumped into the swimming pool, using the pretense of wiping water off her face to hide her tears. She didn’t want to be seen crying.
"Hello there, Coach Tu asked me to teach you how to swim." The girl was very polite.
"Not bad, right?" The smile on Tu Jinxin’s face was full of self-satisfaction. He boasted to An Xiuru, who was standing next to him, then he jumped into the water himself. He purposely splashed a lot of water, "You don’t know how to swim either? Let me teach you."
As soon as Tu Jinxin finished speaking, he eagerly went to grab An Xiuru. He wanted to touch her skin.
An Xiuru swam away quickly like a mermaid, dodging Tu Jinxin’s grasp. As he was about to make another attempt, a loud shout echoed.
"Get away!"
The voice was so loud that the entire pool fell silent. The eyes of more than five hundred people shot over, filled with enthusiastic curiosity.
"Kid, watch your mouth. Didn’t your elders teach you any manners?" Tu Jinxin’s face darkened, he glared at Tang Zheng with a grim expression.
"Don’t make me say it a third time, get away." Tang Zheng swam over to Tu Jinxin, looking him in the eye, "And apologize to that girl named Qingqing, from now on, stay away from the swim team."
"Ha, that’s a good joke." Tu Jinxin laughed uproariously, glancing over at the pool next to him. Pointing at Tang Zheng, he laughed with his teammates, "He actually wants me, a seed qualifier, to get out of the swim team. Ha, that’s just too stupid."
This guy had a lot of influence in the swim team, none of the athletes wanted to offend him. They could only laugh awkwardly in agreement. However, Tu Jinxin’s laughter suddenly cut off, like a rooster whose throat had been clutched, while his body couldn’t help but involuntarily stiffen up.
"Why did you stop laughing?" Tang Zheng manipulated Tu Jinxin’s finger, showing some restraint, if it were not for An Xiuru being there, he would have broken the finger.
"Let go!" Tu Jinxin roared, then swung his fist towards Tang Zheng’s face.
Tang Zheng grabbed his wrist in a flash, then twisted it, "Do you want to spend a few months in the hospital?"
"Let me go! If you hurt me, will you be the one getting the gold medal for the country?" Tu Jinxin’s hand was being twisted, forcing out a cold sweat as he attempted to kick at Tang Zheng, but there wasn’t much force he could exert in the water.
"What are you idiots standing around for? Come over and help!" Seeing that he couldn’t get rid of Tang Zheng, Tu Jinxin called for help from his buddies in the swim team.
A dozen muscular men in swimming trunks immediately ran over, forming a circle around the pool, shouting insults, telling Tang Zheng to get out.
An Xiuru frowned, instinctively reaching for her mobile phone.
"Don’t be scared, they’re just a bunch of small clowns attempting acrobatics. I didn’t beat him up because I didn’t want to dirty this pool with blood." Tang Zheng reassured An Xiuru quickly, then climbed out of the pool.
"Kid, you’re dead." Tu Jinxin climbed out too, rolling up his sleeves, ready to fight.
"That’s enough, all of you. Stop it." The middle-aged man who had been hitting on Tang Zheng earlier never thought that such a conflict would happen when he went to the restroom, he was immediately enraged, yelling, "All of you get back to training now!"
The team members looked at Tu Jinxin, shifted their footsteps a bit, but didn’t really move.
