"Ruan Zhimin, man the machine gun or get the hell out," Tang Zheng bellowed. After hesitating for a moment, Ruan Zhimin got up. The twin machine guns opened fire, effectively dispersing the accompanying infantry of more than sixty people.

Except for seven or eight who managed to escape, the rest were all dead. When the gunfire ceased, the smell of gunpowder and the heavy stench of blood slowly dissipated with the night wind, inducing nausea.

The few who still could function in the Hummer began to shoot without conserving ammunition. They compensated for inaccuracy with a barrage of bullets. At this point, they couldn’t care less about conserving ammunition. If they died, they would lose everything.

Dantai slowed down but did not turn around. Ruan Zhiming was dissatisfied, thinking they should take advantage of the distraction provided by the other Hummer to get as far away as possible.
