Tang Zheng released his left hand from the forestock, swung a punch, and knocked a ghoul sideways. His right hand, holding the pistol grip, jabbed the M4A1 out, knocking another unfortunate creature into a somersault. He then swiftly raised his gun and began shooting.

Gao Wei, who was following behind, wasn’t slow to react. He directly killed one with a shot, while simultaneously delivering a kick to the stomach of another, sending it flying. He adjusted his gun at the ready, but Qin Yan had already shot it dead.

Lu Fan didn’t manage to help at all, feeling quite vexed.

Walking in the dark was extremely oppressive, but gradually, everyone started to calm down. This was because the three pioneers at the front were too strong, the ghouls simply couldn’t break through their defence.

"Something’s not right, the number of ghouls is increasing." Tang Zheng swapped out an ammo clip, alternating fire with Gao Wei and Qin Yan. They were currently in the sixth floor corridor, the number of ghouls had already risen to the dozens, attacking fearlessly.

"They seem to be protecting something, they want to drive us out of here." Gao Wei used a PKP, he wasn’t worried about ammunition, "Look, the rear has been quiet all this time, that’s proof."
