Chapter 364: Chapter 3 Train Love Stories_2

"It’s definitely real." Tang Zheng nodded, "Give half of it to the Hope Project."

"Your generosity amazes me, give me the assessment report." An Xiuru didn’t care about these issues, she trusted Tang Zheng’s character.

"I don’t have it." Judging by Lu Fan’s cleverness, if he had the time to grab that assessment report, he’d surely grab more diamonds.

"It’s alright, I’ll find friends to assess it for you. The jewelry’s quality and craftsmanship are not bad, it’s just that the price may drop a bit."

"Rest assured, it’s not stolen goods." Tang Zheng was a bit headache. Xiu Ru didn’t ask where they came from, she took the risk voluntarily, which moved him even more.

Although the jewelry was valuable, finding a buyer within two days was not easy. An Xiuru didn’t want to sell it at a low price, so she loaned 20 million to Tang Zheng first.

"How can you visit friends without money? Keep it." An Xiuru barely held back the idea of going together, she didn’t understand what kind of friends were so important to Tang Zheng that he was willing to give a million money as a gift.

"They are life-saving friends." He briefly explained. The next day, Tang Zheng boarded a train to Shandong.

It was just in time for the National Day holiday, and just buying tickets and waiting for the train took Tang Zheng six hours. If it were in the past, he would have been tired from standing, but now he was as relaxed as if on a picnic. All his luggage was stored in his wristwatch, he only carried a bottle of mineral water and a small backpack full of snacks into the station, attracting the attention of the passengers.

When the train arrived, it was again a routine crowd. Tang Zheng was next to a young woman carrying a baby, who was pushed by the crowd when she got on the board and couldn’t keep her balance, making the baby cry out.

The conductor yelled a few times, but it didn’t help. Tang Zheng frowned at the sight. Apart from a few people who really wanted to get on the train as quickly as possible, the main culprit was a young man who looked a bit unnatural. He was pushing forward, taking the opportunity to snatch other people’s wallets.

Tang Zheng didn’t shout, but applied force with his feet and spread his arms, stably standing next to the train door, no matter how the crowd pushed, he didn’t budge.

"Everyone form a line, or none of you will get on, or go find another door."

Upon hearing Tang Zheng’s words, the crowd was in an uproar. Some people yelled out in discontent, and the pickpocket indeed began to make a fuss and pushed towards the front.

The conductor looked up and down at Tang Zheng, seeing someone of such strength for the first time. But the train had a set time for each stop and he couldn’t delay, so he patted Tang Zheng’s shoulder.

"Stop this, get on quickly."

"That pickpocket in red, get lost!" Tang Zheng ignored the conductor and said imperiously, "If you don’t line up, you don’t get to board."

A few particularly anxious people couldn’t wait and left in a hurry. After the pickpocket argue with Tang Zheng for a while, he saw everyone watching him vigilantly and covering their pockets, knowing there would be no chance to steal, and quickly left.

"Alright, form a line." Tang Zheng let the young mother get on first, blocking the carriage door completely. Their commotion had attracted the attention of people on the platform and on the train, and they all poked their heads out of the windows, curious about what was happening.

With nearly a thousand eyes staring at them, even the boldest did not dare to push. The crowd quickly formed a line. Although some people looked unsatisfied, no one complained.

"Come on board." Tang Zheng stepped aside. He did not get on first; when a man ran out from the line and tried to get on, Tang Zheng grabbed his shoulder and threw him outside.

The onlooking passengers immediately clapped and cheered. Even though waiting for everyone to line up took more than a minute, the boarding process was no longer messy. Even with heavy luggage, everyone got on the train quickly. Thus, their carriage was the first to finish boarding. Those people could now find a good seat.

Passengers near the door saw this and immediately ran with their luggage. Tang Zheng still did not get on the train, helping them instead. After everyone on the platform got on, he casually boarded the train.

The platform and the train instantly erupted in applause for Tang Zheng. Some young college students even took out their mobile phones early on to take photos of Tang Zheng and record the previous scene.

"You did well." The conductor praised as well.

People on the train were still excitedly discussing how crowded it was, a sensation that any seasoned train rider would know all too well. Everyone had bags and parcels, and they would scramble into the train for fear of missing it.

As expected, the carriage was jam-packed. The city’s university, where Tang Zheng studied, had a massive student population, which was evident every holiday as plenty of students filled the train.

"There are quite a few pretty underclasswomen, and they sure dare to dress." It was still October, and the weather hadn’t cooled down, so their outfits were still quite thin. Tang Zheng had listened to his roommates talk about how the freshers transformed over their years at university, it was like a biological evolution.

"Excuse me." Tang Zheng squeezed through the carriage and immediately apologized, embarrassed.

"That’s okay." The girl was cheerful and chatty, laughing, "Which school are you from? You did well back there."

When the girl spoke, her companions returning home together started to question collectively. They were clearly a group of seven, all squeezed into four seats.

Tang Zheng stated his university, and his key undergraduate status and major could still earn some envious looks. Even a senior girl in the adjacent seat took the initiative to greet him.

Tang Zheng sneakily glanced at the senior girl’s chest, quite ample with a nice figure. It was no wonder she had a couple of knights sitting beside her.

"Excuse me, make some room." Some students from other carriages were trying to find some space. A girl next to Tang Zheng was trying to put her suitcase onto the rack, but she was too short and couldn’t reach it.

"Let me help you." Standing at 1.85 meters tall, Tang Zheng towered over the crowd. His striking height, together with the firm facial contours and the athletic figure showcased by his sportswear, attracted many passing glances from the girls. So when he offered a hand, all eyes instinctively turned to him.

"Thank you." The short girl’s face turned red, still very much a greenhorn.

"You’re welcome." Tang Zheng glanced at his seat and gave up on it.

After a couple of minutes of chaos, the train finally began to slowly move. Apart from a few who were still seeking a seat, everyone else quieted down and stood or sat down, beginning their journey.

"Let’s snack together." The girls brought out their snacks, chatting and nibbling. One of them, sat with a friend on a single seat, called out to Tang Zheng from below.

Tang Zheng felt awkward about correcting them, so he just shifted his gaze away. However, now they were beckoning him, he had to look back to avoid being rude.

"Thanks, but I have food too." Tang Zheng took off his backpack, unzipped it and placed it on the table saying, "Help yourself."

"Wow, I have never seen a guy bring so many snacks. By the way, her name is Xue Xue." Xue Xue’s classmate, ever the instigator, joked with her.

"Aren’t you going to introduce yourself?" Xue Xue, very outgoing, showed no signs of embarrassment. "We are from the Foreign Languages Institute."

"Tang Zheng." Tang Zheng responded succinctly, and seeing that senior girl take notice of him, he returned the gesture with a smile.

"Hey, you have a seat on your ticket, why are you standing?" Xue Xue glanced at Tang Zheng’s ticket, baffled by his standing. She promptly rose to help him find his seat. "Carriage 7, Seat 92."

Hearing her remark, other passengers also looked over. They instinctively craned their necks to help him find his seat.

The young mother holding a baby, who noticed their collective gazes, was a little undecided. She too knew this was not her seat and was feeling guilty, so without further ado, she stood up and followed their gaze to Tang Zheng.

"You’ve read it wrong." Tang Zheng rubbed the ticket and put it in his pocket, laughing, "That’s not my seat."

The passengers gave a collective "Oh," then proceeded to gossip amongst themselves, trying to figure out who the actual owner of the seat was.

"Tang Zheng, you’re a nice guy. Are you getting off in Shandong? Three hours, you’d be able to stand it." Xue Xue’s friend gave him a thumbs-up, and continued laughing, "But I’ll gladly accept the snacks on Xue Xue’s behalf." (To be continued.
