Miranda aims to charm Tang Zheng, and beyond that, she plans to turn the women in the team into appealing prey to be willingly offered up to him. That way, he would know her worth and once he has had his fun with them, they’d be worthless. He certainly wouldn’t make any effort to save them then.

Yet, things didn’t go as planned. Miranda wanted to leave, but her left hand was held tightly.

"Hah, you got my hopes up, and now you want to just leave?" Tang Zheng didn’t let go of Miranda, one arm around her waist, resting on his thigh. His face looked dark right now. He felt very angry at being toyed with by a woman.

"What do you want to do then?" Miranda shot a glance at Tang Zheng, her heart trembling slightly with fear. She saw the angry fire in Tang Zheng’s eyes. She seemed to have overstepped, and she feared she might not be able to resist if he used force.

"What do you think?" Tang Zheng snorted, "Didn’t you want to teach me a lesson?"

"Engaging in such activities early in the morning can waste energy." Miranda struggled to get up, but her waist remained clamped tightly.

"No need to worry, I have plenty of energy." Despite Tang Zheng’s verbal firmness, he was considering a compromise. True, now was not the time for indulgence. Just when he was about to let Miranda go, the thirty-two-year-old woman made a move that triggered his impulses.

Miranda thought she wouldn’t be able to avoid what was coming, so she decided to give Tang Zheng a little incentive, promising herself that she wouldn’t let him touch her body.

She planned to hold off for a better deal.

Miranda unzipped his tracksuit to reveal the attractive Firefly Protective Clothing. She admired it before unzipping that as well.

A well-toned, muscular young male body was exposed before Miranda’s eyes, leaving her awestruck. This body seemed to burst with explosive power in every movement, and his skin was flawlessly smooth with no blemish.

"Do you do any maintenance?" Miranda couldn’t help but reach out her finger and placed it on his chest, feeling the elasticity of his powerful body. She found herself envying him.

"I’m not a woman, why should I do maintenance." Tang Zheng complained. Actually, he had already noticed the mutations in his body - or rather, evolutions.

Every time he strengthened himself, he was aware of an innate sense of evolution. His bones were getting stronger, lighter, and his blood rushed faster. Since these were unobservable changes, others had no way of knowing but the most noticeable changes in his skin and hair led Miranda to such musing.

"This is the result of body enhancement, which you can also enjoy once we return to the room, provided you earn enough points." Tang Zheng explained casually.

Miranda was intrigued by what he said. At first, she felt remorseful for involving herself in the Trojan Horse Game but now she felt fortunate. Who wouldn’t want to always be in good health and have a strong body? As for money, Miranda didn’t lack that.

"Continue speaking, tell me more about Trojan." Miranda urged him.

"Earn ten thousand points and you can quit the game for good. Nonetheless, I assume the effects of this enhanced body cannot be taken away, so the more enhancements you have, the more life you’ll have compared to others, maybe even a few to several decades more." Tang Zheng shared some information without much importance.

"You can use points to buy anything. Oh right, any terminal illness can be cured in the Trojan Room." Tang Zheng didn’t lie. While Silver Trojan was malicious, in some aspects, he could be reliable. "If you have a seriously ill friend, you can purchase medicine to help them. It can’t fully heal them, but it can extend their life for a few years. However, you can’t let people outside the Trojan Room know about it, because if you do, you will be wiped out."

"Really?" Miranda stared into Tang Zheng’s eyes, preparing some incentives.

Miranda seldom engaged even with her husband, but she had strong control over her desires, which kept him on a tight leash. As a result, her husband, unable to cope, sneaked off to have an affair with his secretary. He was terrified when Miranda discovered them and, persuaded by his lover, bribed a maid to kill her.

"Get lost, don’t come near me again, I’m going to find Nicole." Tang Zheng pretended to be angry and pushed Miranda away by her shoulder. Then he got up and started to dress.

Miranda’s face fell into a state of hesitation but she gave in. It would be a pity to give up if she had already gone this far, right?

"What do you want to buy from the Trojan List?" Tang Zheng shrugged indifferently, sensing the other type of desire in the woman’s eyes.

"Health." Miranda licked the corner of her mouth.

"A simple desire."

Tang Zheng showed understanding.

After witnessing the brutal reality of eight people dying in an instant yesterday, Miranda had prepared herself to accept the fate she was dealt with.

Tang Zheng was unaware of the change in Miranda’s mindset. He began zipping up his Firefly Protective Clothing and tracksuit one by one, moving the rifle from his back to his chest.

"Let’s hunt a dinosaur and head back. Fanfan is probably waiting anxiously." After checking the electronic map, Tang Zheng continued his patrol.

"That’s it? Never mind, at least I achieved half of what I intended." Miranda hurriedly dressed up and followed him. She wouldn’t dare stay alone in such a place.
