Chapter 311: Chapter 11: Protective Clothing Controversy
Tang Zheng didn’t care but some people were interested. The stunning Miranda’s ability to attract men was no small thing. Besides, after their recent brush with danger, the newbies instinctively wanted to stick together them. So upon sighting Miranda and her group, they all joined, thinking that their safety was in numbers.
But Tang Zheng quietly lagged a few meters behind, alert and ready for anything.
"You find them too noisy as well, don’t you?" Nicole asked while slowing her pace to walk by Tang Zheng’s side. She twirled a blade of grass, telegraphing that her mind was elsewhere.
"Tang, it would be safer to walk with them," Julia expressed her concern as she noticed Tang Zheng slowing down, warning him about falling too far behind.
"Huh, what use is clustering together? In the face of danger, aren’t we still left to fend for ourselves?" Nicole scoffed contemptuously, only to quickly replace her sneer with a smile. Seeing Tang Zheng was not swayed by Miranda made her quite content.
"It’s not that I find them annoying, but group movements attract attention, primarily attracting the attention of dinosaurs. As for the advantage of numbers? Do you really think it’s useful against dinosaurs, who have the edge in both size and numbers?" Lu Fan glanced at them expressionlessly. Tang Zheng’s choice to stay and not strike out on his own was to provide a distraction in case they were attacked.
"Feeling tired? Come with me." Once they are around fifteen meters from Miranda and her group, Tang Zheng found a giant tree, big enough for the four of them to hide behind, out of their sight.
"What are we doing?" Nicole looked at Tang Zheng curiously.
"Take off your clothes." Tang Zheng put down the two girls and handed them each a piece of chocolate.
"Huh? Are you mad? You want me to undress in front of a man?" Nicole reddened in indignation, exclaiming, "I thought you were a gentleman, turns out you have ulterior motives."
"Are you finished? When you are, take off your clothes." Tang Zheng casually glanced at her nurse uniform and white silk stockings, lamenting the missed opportunity to appreciate her in uniform. He then took out their backpacks from his wristwatch and tossed them their protective clothing.
Nicole wanted to say something more, even point her muzzle at him, but she was stopped by the blonde woman.
"You’ve misunderstood him, Nicole. He must have a reason." Julia rushed to explain, pointing at the two kids, "He wouldn’t do anything inappropriate in front of children, right? "
"Put on the protective clothing. It will enhance your physical strength by double. That’s it." Lu Fan nonchalantly unzipped her sportswear to reveal the Firefly. "That’s why I don’t get tired."
"You’re not tired because Tang carries you." Nicole pouted, feeling embarrassed for having misunderstood Tang Zheng. She wanted to apologize, but couldn’t bring herself to do so.
"Are you changing or not? If not, then we continue on." Tang Zheng is not one to indulge them. After feeding Lu Fan and Demi some water, he was ready to keep moving.
"You go ahead, or at least, turn away." Undress in front of a man? Nicole simply couldn’t.
Tang Zheng glanced at her and then, pulling Lu Fan with him attempted to leave.
"Please, don’t leave us." The blonde woman grabbed Tang Zheng, then hurriedly undressed, with her sexy silhouette clad in just underwear momentarily exposed to Tang Zheng.
The woman had a pretty large chest, almost D cup.
Without removing her stockings, Julia quickly slid them into the protective clothing, zipped it up, hiding her flat belly and buxom chest.
"Is that okay?" The woman asked for Tang Zheng’s approval.
"Put your long lace skirt on over top." Tang Zheng nodded approvingly and then looked toward Nicole, "What about you?"
"Hmph." Nicole snorted, unbuttoned her nurse uniform, slid it off, and began to put on the protective clothing. She covered her chest while doing so, denying Tang Zheng the sight he probably wanted.
"You only have thirty seconds, or we’re leaving without you ten." Tang Zheng looked away. He’d seen what he’d wanted to anyways. But he was surprised to find that the girl’s chest was even larger than the woman’s.
Nicole fumbled with the protective clothing, her lips pouting in dissatisfaction. Eventually, she managed to get dressed within the allotted time.
"I can dunk now. This feels really good." Nicole discovered that with the protective clothing on, although the tight fit took some getting used to, she soon felt the effects of the enhancement. A feeling of lightness and strength swept through her body, and she couldn’t help but jump around, easily reached a height of more than a meter.
"Let’s go." Nicole took a few steps before realizing that Tang Zheng hadn’t moved and turned back to see her nurse uniform flying toward her, covering her face with a start.
"What are you doing?" Nicole caught the nurse uniform and complained, furrowing her eyebrows.
"You’re not planning on going out there and tempting people dressed like this, are you? Put on your nurse uniform." Tang Zheng said and continued to move forward with the two little lolitas."
"What’s wrong with this? A bikini shows more skin than this." Nicole said that, but after looking down at her outfit, she quickly put on the nurse uniform, albeit grumbling resentfully, "Damn it, isn’t Miranda dressed like this, too? Why don’t you say anything about her?"
"How does she have anything to do with me?" Tang Zheng retorted, leaving Nicole speechless. However, the girl quickly perceived the concern in his tone and laughed.
"Uncle, that lady is so silly. Fanfan could lure her home with just a lollipop, well, at most two." Lu Fan spoke in Mandarin so she didn’t need to worry about being overheard.
"Lure her home for what?" Tang Zheng patted Lu Fan’s head, her optimism always allowed others to relax unconsciously.
"Um, for a maid, I guess!" after thinking seriously, Lu Fan turned back and asked, "Nicole, what can you do?"
"Take temperatures and give injections!" Nicole declared proudly. However, her statement simply made Tang Zheng burst into laughter, and even the blonde woman couldn’t help chuckling.
"What’s so funny? I... I can also draw blood." Nicole was defensive, feeling belittled. But the more she talked, the louder the laughter became. Demi didn’t know what the adults were laughing at, but seeing everyone else laughing, she also joined in the laughter.
"Tang, we didn’t get lost, did we?" After wasting several minutes, they could no longer see the figures of Miranda and her team. Although the rainforest was bathed in bright sunshine, there was a sense of emptiness and loneliness.
"It’ll take at most five minutes to catch up. Do you think they’ll consult the map? Wandering aimlessly could lead to getting lost. Even if they check the map, they would have to convince others of their findings. So, the time we’ve wasted should be enough for us to catch up," replied Lu Fan, her analysis was clear and logical.
"How did you raise her?" Nicole and Julia looked Lu Fan up and down, simultaneously asking Tang Zheng.
"I always wondered what her childhood was like," Tang Zheng had never asked. He thought that if little Lolita wanted to share, she would definitely tell him on her own.
"Haven’t you all noticed? Uncle has moved without hesitation because he has memorized all the reference objects along the way."
Nicole and the young woman were taken aback, then turned to look at Tang Zheng, exchanged a glance, and said, "Now we want to know what kind of education you received. Are all Easterners superhumans?"
Tang Zheng was too lazy to engage with them, keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings.
"And most importantly, Miranda is definitely waiting for Tang. She won’t do anything obvious like stopping, but she would definitely slow down." Lu Fan didn’t mind showing her prowess and winning Tang Zheng over. Only by truly conquering these two women and making them comply obediently to her every word, even if she asked them to be bait, they would not have any doubts.
"Alright, even though we might not have a chance anymore." Lu Fan looked at Demi. This girl had a ninety percent chance of not surviving. Thinking about the blow Julia would suffer, little Lolita also felt a bit uncomfortable, "Let’s help her as much as we can."
Nicole and Julia were skeptical, but they managed to spot the figures of Miranda’s team ahead in less than two minutes. Compared to before, they were indeed moving slower.
"You knew about this too, did you?" Nicole pulled at Tang Zheng’s clothes and whispered.
"Yes." Tang Zheng nodded. Even a fool could tell who it would be safer to be with after he had shown his strength.
"Tang, where did you go?" Miranda shouted back at them, coming to a complete stop until Tang Zheng walked past her and then she resumed her journey.
"Put on protective gear. It’s better for you guys to put it on quickly too. It’ll make things much easier." Tang Zheng did not hold back, glanced at the group, which was now joined by the black basketball player Derek and the policeman Stevenson. He could also see the figures of Danny and Natalie lingering in the distance, probably not too far from Leonard’s group.
"Why should we wear that? To play the clown?" Stevenson hadn’t forgotten that Tang Zheng had hit him before, and always thought about revenge. How could a yellow-skinned monkey be so arrogant? As for his shooting skills, Stevenson didn’t give a damn. He was as good with a gun as well.
"Exactly, Miranda looks good when she puts it on. I’m fat, am I supposed to embarrass myself by putting it on?" Defoe had also noticed Miranda waiting for Tang Zheng. He was dissatisfied and naturally ended up standing on the opposite side.
Seeing that they wished for their own deaths, Tang Zheng could do nothing to stop them. After setting Demi down, he sped up. Nicole hesitated for a moment but decided to stay by her father’s side. Julia, holding her daughter’s hand, wanted to catch up, but Tang Zheng was moving too fast.
"Tang is doing this for everyone’s benefit. Wearing protective clothing can double your physical abilities." Miranda said softly and then followed Tang.
"Tang, don’t worry. I wore the protective clothing because of your advice." Miranda caught up with Tang Zheng and deliberately stuck out her chest. After running for a dozen steps and gasping for breath, she said,
"What does this woman want? A bodyguard?" Tang Zheng decided to play dumb and wait for her to continue dangling the bait. His face suddenly showed an expression that he hadn’t been understood. Bitterly, he said, "I don’t care. They’re all going to die anyway."
"Don’t worry, I understand your feelings!" Miranda tried to show her understanding by reaching out to ruffle Tang Zheng’s hair, but she realized that he was really tall.(To be continued. If you like this story, please vote for it at qidian.com. Your support is my biggest motivation.)
