"Uncle, look! They are the ones acting like monkeys!" Once Lu Fan stabilized herself five meters high on a tree branch, she looked down at the dinosaurs running through the rainforest and the bewildered newbies struggling to climb up the tree. Their embarrassment was punnishment for doubting Tang Zheng, and it amused her.

The driver, Brant, and Defoe were the heaviest amongst them. They managed to climb less than two meters up a tree before slipping back down, drenched in sweat. The women’s attempts to climb were even more comical. After climbing approximately three meters, they were so exhausted they had to tightly clutch the tree trunk, their bodies hanging on the tree like koalas.

Jenny, the prostitute who had swapped her dress for a blue bodysuit, was the first to successfully climb the tree. She suddenly found herself twice as strong and more agile she thought, and credited her newly found abilities to the bodysuit. She grew grateful towards Tang Zheng who had persuaded everyone to change their clothes.

To everyone’s surprise, the second person to climb the tree successfully was Miranda. The vigorous climbing and the rubbing against the tree branches had ripped through her evening gown, revealing half her buttocks. But no one except Lu Fan had any extra attention to appreciate such a sight as everyone else was busy climbing.

"Nicole, tie it around your waist." Seeing nurse Nicole stuck halfway up the tree, Tang Zheng pulled out a mountaineering rope and threw it down to her while standing on another branch.

The ones that had passed in front of them were just children who, as they ran over the tree where Tang Zheng and his group were hiding, made a thundering noise and their heads grazed the trees’ leaves and branches.

Most of the survivors held their breath and covered their mouths, fearing to accidentally disturb these creatures.

After almost a minute, Tang Zheng finally pulled the blonde-haired woman up the tree. However, she had no strength left and lay on Tang Zheng’s legs, holding onto him tightly, afraid of falling.

"Move a bit." Tang Zheng patted the woman’s shoulder, coaxing her to change her position. As Tang Zheng sat on the branch to maintain balance, the woman lay on him.

"Hiss." Tang Zheng sucked in a breath. Due to the woman’s fear of heights and lack of space on the branch, she had to move her whole body against Tang Zheng’s thigh. Naturally, her body rubbed against Tang Zheng’s thigh, and her palm and knee pressed against it twice.

Seeing the intimate physical contact between Tang Zheng and the woman, Nicole couldn’t help but curl her lips in jealousy, even though she knew it was inevitable.

"Stay quiet, check how many people haven’t climbed up the tree yet? Confirm everyone’s position!" Tang Zheng didn’t want to be the first target attacked if a noise attracted the dinosaurs. When he chose the tree, he made sure to stay as far as possible from others.

Lu Fan understood his meaning immediately. He fell silent, shielded his eyes and after quick scan pointed out the hiding places of each person.

Driver Brant, who was too fat to climb, as a result remained on the ground. Defoe had managed to climb a branch three meters off the ground. The only one left below was a high school girl who twisted her ankle, she was wailing in pain on the ground.

Less than thirty seconds after the duck-billed dinosaur ran by, another dinosaur appeared in their sight. Those who had climbed trees had initially felt safe, but then grew tenser, especially worried for the girl on the ground.

"It’s a Fear Claw Dragon from the Dromaeosauridae family," Jack scanned the frontmost dinosaurs with his electronic stick and shouted out. "They have a large, sickle-like claw on their second toe,"

These creatures were just over three meters in length with almost a one-meter height, small types in the Cretaceous-era dinosaurs. However, they excelled at running. Their tails had alternating bones and tendon which kept them stiff, providing balance and manoeuvrability. As such, the Fear Claw Dragons had an exceptional agility and quickness in the tree forest. In the blink of an eye, they pounced under the trees.

"I am a knight!" Jack glanced at those Fear Claw Dragons, roared suddenly and slid down the trunk, running towards the high school girl with a twisted ankle.

"Dad." Nicole was taken aback by her father’s action. She would have slid down the tree if Julia hadn’t blocked her way.

A group of over forty Fear Claw Dragons, having smelled their prey, did not continue to run but pounced at Brant and the high school girl instead.

The fastest Fear Claw Dragon chased after Brant, who was in full flight. With a roar, it fiercely extended its hind leg, springing forth that massive sickle-like claw in an attempt to impale him. The second one opened its mouth, revealing more than sixty curved, blade-shaped teeth, in an attempt to bite Brant’s waist.

Tang Zheng watched the events unfold calmly. His M4A1 was ready to fire at any moment, but he did not make a move. He didn’t want to be the first one to draw a Fear Claw Dragon’s attention.

Bang bang. Unable to bear it anymore after the black man Redick’s safety was secured, he began firing at the dinosaurs, although his aim was horrible.

The sudden gunshots scared the dinosaurs a little, and an intimidating roar echoed through the rainforest in response. A few of them noticed Defoe standing on a low branch and gathered below him, making attempts to jump and bite him off.

Type type type. All the newbies with guns began to open fire in an attempt to kill the group of Fear Claw Dragons; several of them got injured, which made them even more furious and violent.

Brant thought he was going to die; he could even smell the stench of rotten meat stuck between the teeth of the dinosaur behind him. Then there were two gunshots, one dinosaur collapsed beside him, its head blown apart, and the other had a bloody hole chest and fell on top of him.

Covered in fresh blood, Brant knew he was saved, at least for now. He struggled to climb out from under the dinosaur, used all of his strength to run towards the nearest tree. His luck was good; Robert was hiding not far from him, so he could save Brant in time.

"Help my dad." Nicole wanted to shoot those dinosaurs pouncing at Jack, but she was not skilled and was afraid of hurting him instead, so she subconsciously called for Tang Zheng’s help.

Through the ACOG scope, dinosaur heads were magnified four times. After locking on the target with one eye closed, Tang decisively opened fire. Tap tap, a single shot, hands lightly swaying, muzzle moving towards the next target. He just spotted the head of the next dinosaur through the scope, and he pulled the trigger again, then onto the next...

"Help!" Jack was carrying the high school girl, running towards the tree where David was stationed.

David didn’t refuse and raised his muzzle, aiming at the frontmost Fear Claw Dragon. But just as he was about to pull the trigger, the dinosaur’s head in his scope exploded. So he shifted his aim to the one behind it, but as soon as he found the target, its head exploded into a shower of blood and it fell to the ground. David didn’t waste any time and aimed for the next one, but as he moved his muzzle, the third dinosaur was already killed, again, by a headshot.

"My God, who’s shooting?" David was astonished by this accurate gunmanship. Having exchanged his expertise to firearms, he could also make every shot a headshot, but that would require aiming. But this gunman was just too quick and deadly accurate.

"Shoot at those in the middle." Tang Zheng shouted out loud, assigning tasks. His clip only had thirty rounds which weren’t enough to clean all those Fear Claw Dragons. Plus, he noticed that everyone was trying to hit the ones closest to Jack, which wasted both time and the opportunity.

"Tang, your shooting skills are amazing," David hollered, his voice overflowing with praise. Then he instinctively looked over to Tang Zheng and saw the handsome eastern youth crouching on tree branches, lips pursed in steely resolve, calmly pulling the trigger. With each gunshot, another dinosaur on the ground falls dead. Because their heads exploded, they barely had time to let out a scream before dying. (To be continued.
