Chapter 1571: Chapter 33 Captive
Kirov air-dropped bombs, the rolling flames blocking the escape path of the natives. After the armored mechas drove off and annihilated those who first resisted, the rest finally became obedient.
The natives who had first submitted to Tang Zheng howled and rushed forward; they even quarreled over the capture of slaves.
The strong woman now followed Tang Zheng wholeheartedly. In just a few days, she went from having nothing and nearing death to becoming a wealthy woman.
The woman was cunning. Instead of grabbing soldiers, she snatched a few children around twelve or thirteen years old. After raising them for a while, they would become combat power, and after being taught, they wouldn’t dare to rebel.
The woman dreamt of her bright future, her laughter squinting her eyes.
Tang Zheng did not understand the social structure of the Stone Age, nor could he discuss high principles with them. Even simple bloody suppression could go wrong, so it was better to let the natives deal with their own people, which indeed achieved a good effect.
Three hundred slaves—that was today’s war results. At this rate, he would soon be able to complete the mission and return home.
Kelly woke up and tried to run but was kicked on the butt by Tang Zheng, and she fell to the ground.
"Don’t kill me, I won’t dare do it again." Kelly pleaded very unprincipledly, but her mind was swirling with various methods of survival. First, let the other side lower their guard, because as long as she lived, there would be a turnaround.
"Look at what this is?" Tang Zheng took a whip and lashed it on Kelly’s body.
The UK woman was wearing protective clothing and did not feel pain, but still screamed dramatically, her face turning pale when she saw the decapitated heads Tong Li was holding with both hands.
John and Jordan’s skulls glared with fury, as if narrating the injustice they faced before their demise.
"Answer the questions honestly, or you’ll end up like them!" After saying that, Tang Zheng kicked Kelly again. "Clueless fool, take off your clothes."
"Group Leader, with so many people watching, if you want to, we can find a place," Kelly said with an embarrassed look, thinking Tang Zheng was a pervert who wanted to possess her in front of everyone.
"Stop the nonsense, strip!" Tang Zheng called Little Willow over, "Put this on later."
Stepping on Catwoman, who also didn’t have protective clothing, felt somewhat jealous when she heard this.
Kelly, seeing no way to avoid it, unzipped her zipper. This woman dressed very daringly, seemingly always ready to please her group leader.
Gao Shuang’s eyes, like a greedy jackal, roamed over Kelly’s body, wishing he could devour her whole. The other alumni were no better, having only seen scantily clad foreign women on television. An opportunity as tangible as this was not likely to come again in their lifetime.
Kelly was not shy. She had worn bikinis before, which exposed even more than this. She stood up and walked toward Tang Zheng, ready to press against him.
"Damn!" Gao Shuang masked the jealousy in his eyes, swearing that he must become the group leader and make those foreign women kneel and sing the song of conquest.
Tang Zheng did not push Kelly away, deliberately showing a satisfied attitude to make her think she had bewitched him.
"You know the score. Now introduce your team members and their abilities."
"Our group leader is Arthur; his ability is Gravity Black Hole, a third-order Englishman, very powerful, with no less than a hundred conquerors dead at his hands," Kelly said with a smile, hoping to serve Tang Zheng well and wait for the group leader to come to rescue. As for resistance, she didn’t even dare to think of it. Not to mention the example of John’s head, a third-order versus a third-order Englishman would just be an instant defeat.
"Gravity Black Hole? Tell me more about it!" Tang Zheng was curious, having encountered a similar ability user. His own ability was completely applied in a crude manner, still not fully developed.
It’s no surprise, for the unique Furious Queen of Trojan World had six different branching abilities, enough to overpower most people. Where would he have spare time to further dig into his potential? Only those with just one ability would use it better. Tang Zheng believed that Kelly’s group leader was definitely one such adept.
"Gravity Shear, Gravity Reversal, Zero Gravity Explosion, Gravity Devour." Kelly licked the corner of her mouth and reached for Tang Zheng’s chest, trying to distract him.
Slap, Tang Zheng pushed away Kelly’s hand.
"Keep talking." Tang Zheng looked at the newbies, "What are you doing standing around? Sun Guofeng, take people on patrol, Shen Jiashu, lead the captives into the base and move the stored food."
Kirov had fire-extinguishing bombs; a few were dropped, and they sucked the surrounding air dry, naturally extinguishing the flames.
Kelly wasn’t stupid. The information she disclosed to Tang Zheng was a mix of truth and lies, including some abilities that were from enemies they had previously encountered. In this way, Tang Zheng would definitely be wary and distracted during the combat process, which would indeed weaken his strength.
"Group Leader, let’s go behind that rock for some fun," Kelly cooed.
"Did I tell you to shut up?" Tang Zheng pushed Kelly away and swung his whip to lash her.
Crack!
Kelly screamed, instinctively jumping on her feet.
"Arthur has gone to attack the Germans’ camp. He said with them around, it’s too insecure, and an ambush is bound to happen sooner or later." In the interest of her own safety, Kelly betrayed her companions. "If you go now, you might just catch them off guard!"
"Are you familiar with the Germans?" Seeing Kelly shake her head, Tang Zheng repeated the question he had asked before.
"This guy is really cautious!" Kelly wasn’t going to be stumped; for the Conquerors, having an eidetic memory was a basic skill.
"Are there any other settlements nearby? My team needs to rest." Tang Zheng was planning to wait at ease for the Germans to arrive; it’d be a half-day’s journey, and they might encounter Arthur returning in triumph on the way—if that guy didn’t have a trump card up his sleeve, he wouldn’t dare to go out on conquest.
"There is, about thirty li from here, a small tribe that we’ve occupied." Kelly was very humble, realizing that Tang Zheng wasn’t falling for her tricks, she feigned a sigh of depression, "Why do the higher-ups tend to be more cautious? Do you really think I might pose a danger to you?"
Kelly hugged Tang Zheng.
"Sorry, I’m just not interested in you." Tang Zheng pinched Kelly’s cheek as she tried to kiss him and pushed her away, "Gather round, we’re setting off."
The natives are used to being poor, and of course, they wouldn’t pass up the chance to pick up Spoils of War, so when these folks stood before Tang Zheng again, they were laden with pottery pots, meat, and animal skins, looking like little mountains.
"Let’s set out, I have found us a place to stay." Seeing the natives’ eyes brimming with spirit and anticipation, Tang Zheng gave up the idea of having them discard their spoils.
The natives cheered, then knelt down and sincerely paid homage to Tang Zheng, genuinely pledging their allegiance this time.
Thirty li was not a long distance; despite all the natives being women and children, their physical fitness was superior to modern men, and their endurance was also excellent. Not one complained of fatigue, nor straggled; on the contrary, some of Tang Zheng’s classmates were exhausted like dogs, terribly disheveled.
The tribe had already suffered a bloodied massacre and was now utterly deserted. Tang Zheng stood at the entrance, gazing at six Skulls without a word.
The natives obediently stood still, waiting for the command of their new chief.
"It’s Zhao Yi and his girlfriend!" Fang Zhiwen stood beside Tang Zheng, unable to bear the sight any longer as some crows perched on the Skulls, pecking at the rotting eyeballs.
"We didn’t kill them!" Kelly looked at the Skulls displayed on the stakes, hastening to clarify. These were all Asians; they were the first to occupy the Tribe but unfortunately ran into the more powerful Arthur and got beheaded.
"These two are my classmates!" Tang Zheng pointed at two of the Skulls, his expression turning somewhat ferocious, "I can see the lies in your eyes!"
"No, I didn’t lie." Kelly’s body trembled violently as she saw Tang Zheng’s stern face staring at her, unable to withstand the oppression, she changed her statement, "Alright, it was John who did it, but you’ve already killed him."
"Before they died, were they tortured?" Bai Xia obviously asked a foolish question—the world of Trojan had only cruelty.
"No, I swear." Kelly’s words were insincere.
"And the Conquerors who were with them? Did they run away?" Tang Zheng was a bit afraid to hear the answer.
"They ran. That guy was very cautious; we didn’t catch him." Kelly described the appearances, they were Jiang Xiuming and Yu Deye.
Tang Zheng unsheathed the Undamaged Lake Light, lifting the chin of a Skull—it was the rugged man he had once encountered at Bluebird KTV, now a headless Ghost.
"This one was killed by your own people." Kelly quickly disassociated herself.
"I like that you answer every question, but that doesn’t make up for your mistake!" Tang Zheng turned around, unleashing the Lake Light, and four Moonlight Slashes streaked across.
"Don’t!" Kelly hadn’t finished screaming when she felt pain in her wrists and ankles, and as blood spurted out, she was flung to the ground.
As a sweaty, underwear-clad Kelly writhed on the ground covered in Soil like a meaty worm, Gao Shuang suddenly became excited, breathing heavily.
"Get two people to find a House to throw her in, without my order, no one is allowed to see her!" Tang Zheng walked into the Tribe, "Gao Shuang and Zhao Qian are in charge of patrolling, everyone else should take the opportunity to rest. Women, arrange for some natives to be at their beck and call."
The strong women nodded vigorously, even preparing to arrange for a few beautiful native women to serve them.
Tang Zheng quickly refused; although he did not discriminate based on race, looking at these primitive people really affected his appetite.
After being busy for a while, the settlement finally quieted down. The natives were getting used to their new home, while the newcomers took the time to rest.
Tang Zheng went to sleep, and Bai Guo wanted to cook dinner for him, but Fang Zhiwen got ahead of her. The naturally silly girl, despite being Third-order, was still not good at arguing and was easily outmaneuvered by Fang Zhiwen after a few words.
Gao Shuang perched atop a Stone House, glanced several times at the chief’s House, then squatted down and patted Zhao Qian’s shoulder.
"What now?" Zhao Qian was in a bad mood, frustrated that he had to stand guard and patrol. He felt Tang Zheng was targeting him on purpose.
"Want to find some fun? To lighten up the mood?"
