Chapter 1540: Chapter 2 Beating People
Tang Zheng intentionally showed a tense expression, stuffed the money into his chest, and quickened his pace. Sure enough, the sound of high-heels clattering on the ground behind him immediately became hurried—it was clearly a streetwalker running. But just seconds later, there was a pained cry of "ouch."
"Damn, I curse you with a lifetime of impotence!" The streetwalker had fallen down, looking at the poor quality silk stockings worn through on her thigh, a scraped knee, she swore furiously in anger.
"Hehe!" Tang Zheng laughed loudly as he turned his head back, flipped the bird, and turned at the Crossroad—he wasn’t about to hit the streetwalker just for a curse.
The moonlight was bright, scattering a clear glow on the road.
Tang Zheng looked at the myriad stars, wandering aimlessly. He didn’t want to drive home, nor did he dare to turn on his mobile phone, because Meiqin would definitely be looking for him, and he might also have to deal with a turnaround in attitude from Li Xinlan.
"I really don’t want to go on like this anymore!"
The tangled mess of life left Tang Zheng feeling annoyed and depressed, he didn’t love Meiqin, and faced with her affection, he felt guilty and no longer wanted to continue their bed-sharing relationship.
As Tang Zheng hesitated whether or not to find an Inn to spend the night, he heard a piercing scream, followed by a few bursts of smug laughter.
Like a spirit cat, Tang Zheng vaulted over the greenery, dashing towards the Street Park on the opposite diagonal.
Seven fashionably dressed young men and women were surrounding a nest of abandoned kittens, inflicting severe punishment on them.
"This one is quite cute; I really want to take it home!" A woman with light purple eyeshadow picked up a kitten, squeezing it hard, feeling the warmth and smoothness of its fur.
"Take care of what? You don’t even know if it’s got diseases." The woman who spoke was smoking a ladies’ Cigarette, wearing Crystal high-heels over her right leg wrapped in black stockings, viciously stepping on a kitten, rotating and grinding it.
The heel had pierced the kitten’s body, leaving mottled bloodstains on the pavement.
"Really?" Hearing her friend’s words, the eyeshadow woman directly threw the kitten onto the ground, stepping back two paces, "Where’s the water? I need to wash my hands."
A man handed over a half bottle of mineral water, with eager flattery.
This group of people clearly had just come out of a Bar, reeking of alcohol, with a tinge of drunkenness. Bored while waiting, they decided to torture these kittens, left in a box, abandoned by someone unknown.
With Tang Zheng’s vision, he could see that not far away, one kitten had already been killed, and another one had been blinded; it weakly cried out, limping around searching for its mother.
"Is Young Master Li not done yet?" The cat-stepping woman exhaled a ring of smoke, glancing jealously at the Lexus parked not far away on the road.
"If you’re bored, I can keep you company, y’know. My abilities definitely aren’t inferior to Young Master Li!" A man teased the cat-stepping woman, deliberately thrusting his hips.
"Get lost, I’ve heard from them you can’t even last a minute." The cat-stepping woman rolled her eyes, ignoring him.
"Let’s just go ahead and leave. Young Master Li has just picked up a new love tonight, probably will be busy with her all night long." A short-haired man squatted on the ground, looking at the bouncing Sedan, somewhat envious of Young Master Li’s girl-chasing skills.
"That guy has to change his hobbies. It’s one thing to play around in cars, but making us all wait—what’s that about?" Another man, clearly of higher Status and the center of the circle, finished his cigarette, flicked away the butt, and glanced at the million-dollar Patek Philippe Watch on his wrist, walking towards his parked Porsche Cayenne.
A black-haired, shoulder-length woman with beautiful legs clung to him like a bird nestling against a person, trying her best to please him, with her ample Chest constantly brushing his Armature. She had been pursuing this wealthy second-generation heir for a long time, hoping to marry him and become his wife, so she wouldn’t have to work so hard anymore.
The blinded cat walked in front of ’Mr. Patek Philippe’ and was kicked away by him.
"Ladies and gents, seems like you’re having quite a blast!" Tang Zheng’s expression was a bit dark, even though he had plenty of blood on his hands, he still couldn’t do something like torturing cats for fun.
The cat-stepping woman saw Tang Zheng and was slightly stunned; his face seemed like a Marble sculpture, handsome and resolute, along with a 1.85-meter-tall muscular body, exuding strong masculine charm.
The eyeshadow woman and the long-haired woman couldn’t help but give Tang Zheng an extra glance.
"None of your damn business." The cat-stepping woman looked down and showed disdain, spewing harsh words. Wearing cheap sportswear and not ashamed of appearing so in public.
"Let’s go!" Mr. Patek Philippe didn’t even give Tang Zheng the courtesy of a glance. Clutching the long-haired woman, he slightly changed direction and walked to the nearly dead blind cat, giving it another vicious kick towards Tang Zheng.
The men and women whistled loudly, cheering in uproar.
"If it were Little Li here, he’d sure beat the shit out of this kid." One of the men, who just handed over the water, named Zhao Qian, the fourth-ranked person in the circle, said.
"Too rough, no wonder Little Willow doesn’t like you!" Zhang Xinzhong teased his friend, but his eyes lingered on the cat-stepping woman’s calves, planning to call her after the gathering was over, arrange a rendezvous at a Hotel to have some fun, and if she rejected, spill her Secret.
"Dig a hole, bury these dead cats." Tang Zheng clenched his fist, his voice dropping.
"Hey, don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Who the hell do you think you are?" The speaker was Shen Zhang, the most physically robust in the group, nearly 1.9 meters tall and trained in Sanda. He approached Tang Zheng with an overwhelming presence, looking down on him from above.
Cough, Shen Zhang coughed up a thick phlegm, suddenly spitting it towards Tang Zheng’s Cheek.
Tang Zheng dodged to the side, avoiding it.
"Hey, not a bad reaction there, Shen Zhang, beat him up." Zhang Xinzhong, fearful of not causing enough chaos, and the eyeshadow girl Little Willow were also fanning the flames on the side.
"Hey, don’t! If you hurt him, will you pay the medical expenses?" Shen Zhang exaggeratedly cried out, drawing a burst of laughter from the crowd.
These people cast mocking glances at Tang Zheng, all aware that Shen Zhang has always been lawless. Such words were just to lull the opponent into a false sense of security; the next second, his fist would smash the other person’s front teeth.
Slap, Tang Zheng made his move, steadily gripping Shen Zhang’s heavy punch.
"Damn it!" Shen Zhang grew furious, twisting his waist and swaying his hips, his right leg lifted, and a ferocious knee strike thundered toward his abdomen.
Bang, Tang Zheng raised his leg, blocking the strike, and the violent collision caused Shen Zhang to scream out in pain.
"Stop!" Sun Guofeng saw unbridled recklessness in Tang Zheng’s eyes, but he was too late in shouting.
Crack, Tang Zheng’s right foot kicked Shen Zhang’s calf, bending it backward at a ninety-degree angle.
The laughter of the six men and women waiting to enjoy the spectacle came to an abrupt halt, looking like choked roosters. They stared at Shen Zhang lying on the ground, their faces filled with disbelief.
"Beat him to death, it’s on me if he dies." Shen Zhang couldn’t bear such a loss and shouted out, the others looked toward Sun Guofeng, after all, he was the boss.
"Buddy, is there really a need to go so hard on him?" Sun Guofeng kept his right hand behind his back, waving at Zhao Qian, signaling him to make a phone call for backup.
Tang Zheng spit out a mouthful of saliva, sharp as an arrow, smack, landing on Sun Guofeng’s face.
"Didn’t you hear what I said? Dig a hole, bury the cat!" Tang Zheng couldn’t be bothered with gentle persuasion anymore. Without violence, they’d never know submission.
"Beat him up!" Sun Guofeng wiped his hand across his face, looking at the saliva on it, his face turning iron blue with fury.
Zhao Qian and Zhang Xinzhong drew their daggers, their faces twisted with ferocity as they pounced towards Tang Zheng. Even if they maimed him, with Sun Guofeng’s father to deal with the aftermath, they had nothing to fear.
Tang Zheng kicked at Shen Zhang’s chest, sending him flying away. Then he charged at Zhao Qian, fingers shaped like a blade, chopping down on his wrist.
Crack, Zhao Qian’s wrist bone broke, and Tang Zheng, not wanting to touch his filthy face with his hand, lifted his right foot like a battle-axe, kicking him under the chin.
With the sound of cracking bone, Zhao Qian fell backward, crashing to the ground like a torn sack.
Seeing his companion’s miserable state, Zhang Xinzhong’s movements stiffened immediately. Just as he thought of retreating, a severe pain shot through his calf and his world turned upside down before the ground rushed up to meet him.
Bang, Zhang Xinzhong hit the ground, a stream of blood flowing from his nose.
A wise man does not take a loss when confronted with danger; Sun Guofeng thought to flee, but just as he turned around, he saw the young man had already appeared next to him.
"Go to hell!" Sun Guofeng pushed the long-haired girl beside him towards Tang Zheng.
Tang Zheng pushed her aside then his knee slammed into Sun Guofeng’s belly. The latter doubled over in pain, vomiting gastric juice, and then he saw the knee swiftly closing in, the wind from it almost blowing away his hair.
Bang, Tang Zheng’s knee hit Sun Guofeng’s face, smashing his nose and sending him flying backward, spewing out broken teeth.
"Call for backup!" The eyeshadow girl screamed in fright, trembling as she pulled out her mobile phone. But before she could dial, a can of cola hit her, striking her wrist squarely.
"You’re dead! Do you have any idea who you’ve messed with?" The Catwoman was still spewing threats.
"Not interested in knowing." Tang Zheng shrugged his shoulders and tossed the cola can in his hand.
Bang, the cola-filled can hit the Catwoman right in the mouth. That blow knocked all her teeth out, and with the force of impact, she even swallowed some of them.
"Go, dig the hole, and bury the cat." Tang Zheng never hit women, but the two before him did not possess any gentleness of a woman’s heart; they were as malicious as snakes.
Collapsed on the ground, the Catwoman streamed tears from the pain, glaring at Tang Zheng with venom-filled eyes.
"Not doing it? Then never do it again!" Tang Zheng stepped to the Catwoman, stepping on her cheek, "This is how the little cats felt under your torture."
"Stop hitting, we’ll bury it." The long-haired girl cried and quickly begged for mercy.
They were unfortunate to encounter Tang Zheng in a bad mood, but if it were any other Conqueror, they would have killed already. Disposing of bodies was not a difficult task for them.
"Trash!" The Catwoman’s high-heels came off, and her ultra-short skirt slid up to her waist, revealing her garter stockings and thong. However, Tang Zheng didn’t give her a second glance, spat a mouthful of saliva, and turned to leave.
The night grew deeper, and Tang Zheng, having vented his anger, considered that fleeing wasn’t a solution and took a taxi back to the Residential area. But just as he entered, he saw an envelope lying on the floor.
It was addressed to Mr. Tang for his eyes only, inviting him to a private gathering at the Bluebird KTV two days later. (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, you are welcome to vote for it with a recommendation ticket or a monthly pass on Qidian.com. Your support is my greatest motivation.)
