Chapter 1518: Chapter 106: Forcible Seizure

After advancing to Hero Tier 3, Tang Zheng’s Steel Sky evolved, allowing him to construct two Teleportation Gates within the range of bombardment for spatial movement.

However, the practicality wasn’t too great; it required one second to construct the first gate, which was enough time for even a 2nd tier hero to disrupt Tang Zheng, let alone in combat above Hero Tier 3 where even a momentary distraction could determine the outcome of a battle.

Tang Zheng stepped out of the Teleportation Gate and immediately felt the immense power of the various domains, as if he were standing on the guillotine, with the Slasher about to come down and kill him in the next instant.

The Gravity Abyss was directly crushed by the domains; those at the Fourth Order were either Seeds or Seed contenders, possessing fearsome strength beyond measure.

Before him stood a man with blue hair, his eyes fixed on Tang Zheng and Mu Nianqi, their bodies igniting with cyan-blue flames, as if even their souls could be completely consumed.

In an instant, Tang Zheng was trapped in endless illusions, surrounded by countless fiendish Demons rushing at him with a putrid stench.

With a swing of his Undamaged Lake Light, Tang Zheng activated his berserk stance and released his Demon Sword to barely maintain his sanity.

Mu Nianqi’s burst of power was too intense; her body seemed to be torn apart by Wind Blades, riddled with countless tiny cracks and oozing blood, staining her entirely red like a blood-soaked figure.

The queen was too weakened, not to mention touching the gene release core; in the next second, she would be killed.

"Go!" Tang Zheng grabbed Mu Nianqi with one hand, activated his gravitational power, flung his arm forcefully, and threw her into the Teleportation Gate.

Boom, the blue flames surged, engulfing Tang Zheng.

"Huh, interesting?" The blue-haired man glanced at Tang Zheng with disdain, somewhat surprised that Hero Tier 3 could withstand his onslaught. He then hurled another furious blaze tide before shifting his target—after all, the Spoils of War were most important.

Snap, a charred right arm stretched out from the flames like a giant Python, grabbing the blue-haired man’s Armature. Following with a suplex, he hurled the man towards the ground.

"You’re too overconfident!" Tang Zheng was about to leave, but the man’s disdainful look provoked him into an irrational choice.

"The conceited one is you!" The man’s body suddenly stopped mid-air, twisting his hand back towards Tang Zheng, hoping to throw him.

Bang, bang, consecutive Gravity Bombs struck the man.

Tang Zheng decisively let go of the man and drew the Twin Blades sheathed at his waist.

Whoosh, two streaks of white light passed, forming an X, shooting towards the man.

The windforce stirred up by the blades dispersed the Black Mist from Tang Zheng’s body, revealing a Warrior fully clad in Armor.

Hiss, the sword qi slashed across the man’s body, leaving a bloody trail.

Enraged, the man was unharmed but his pride was deeply wounded. He must know that his opponent was just a lowly Hero Tier 3. The next moment, however, he stiffened, sensing a significant threat from Tang Zheng, and thus, he released his ultimate ability.

Dozens of blue Fireballs appeared around him, shooting towards Tang Zheng.

Tang Zheng’s blades danced wildly, shattering those Fireballs, while using gravity to attract the four cores ten meters away. However, they were merely shaken before being confined by the powerful domains.

"Time to retreat!" After leaving two cuts on the man, Tang Zheng knew it was enough, and it was also his limit.

If not for possessing the Undamaged Lake Light and having his body transformed by the flames and Virus, Tang Zheng wouldn’t even able to approach this place. The eight people surrounding the Spoils of War were all at the Fourth Order Hero standard.

"Not bad, kid. Buy me a minute, I’ll give you a core," said Bingxu as the Sky Ring raged, ensnaring another Fourth Order.

Golden Butterflies fluttered in the air, scattering dazzling gold scales.

"Don’t listen to him, run first." Because Tang Zheng cared for his subordinates, Vasily found him agreeable and didn’t want to see him die here. One minute was enough for the unscathed Fourth Order to kill Tang Zheng three or four times.

Tang Zheng, who was already retreating, stopped and clenched his teeth, intercepting the blue-haired man—he did not wish to be looked down upon.

The center of the battlefield was a vortex of death; several ambitious 2nd tier heroes hoping to seize an opportunity behind the scenes burst and died within twenty meters of the Spoils of War.

"You’re courting death!" Vasily was annoyed; he felt Tang Zheng shouldn’t die in such a place.

The War King didn’t actually demand much of the Spoils of War; he always kept his trump card to use at the most critical moment for his Team because he wanted to bring all his subordinates home.

"Vasily, launch your big move," Bingxu knew this frenemy still had something up his sleeve.

Boom, Pugachev piloted a warplane towards the Spoils of War. Before getting close, he was blown up. Ejecting from the cockpit, he continued to fall.

Due to various attacks, Pugachev’s body was battered, and after being hit by a black hole slash, both his legs were gone.

"Group Leader, catch!" Pugachev grabbed a core and threw it towards Vasily. Just then, he was targeted by a skill and blasted to bits without a corpse left, only blood cells scattering around.

"Damn it!" Vasily’s eyes turned red as he witnessed the scene, opened the Tiberium Command Book, and summoned the Guardians, fighting desperately.

Suddenly turning into a light particle, Natasha materialized in the center of the battlefield, reaching out for the released energy core; it was something Pugachev had thrown with his life and no one could steal it.

Tang Zheng, who had been monitoring the entire scene, twitched slightly. He hadn’t expected that this formidable woman, the Russian deputy group leader, wasn’t actually human.

The female deputy caught the energy core and stuffed it directly into her chest cavity, then, before those attacks could land, she vanished into light.

Everyone was fighting over it, all thinking of hogging it for themselves, so they divided their abilities to attack Natasha, which led to their attention being scattered.

Only the Wild God and Bingxu, with their strong mindsets and clear goals, moved in unison toward the remaining three energy cores.

"Get out of the way!" The blue-haired was so angry he nearly vomited blood, as everyone was tangled up with opponents of equal strength, only his enemy was ’weaker’, logically he should have obtained the spoils of war, but someone beat him to it.

The blue-haired could even guess how he would be ridiculed when he returned.

"You’re the one who should roll away." Tang Zheng didn’t even have time to take a gulp of potion, he was fully occupied blocking the blue-haired.

Five priest girls appeared, only managing to bless Tang Zheng with a healing halo before being obliterated by the domain’s blasts – their power was too great. But thanks to this healing force, he could hold on for a few more seconds.

Bingxu put on an all-or-nothing stance, but in reality, he aimed for just two cores. Ever since he entered the Theme World, the cracked doll had been fighting with the Wild God and was aware of his strength.

"No way!" As the second most powerful solo combatant in the world, the Wild God’s irate mindset made him rather arrogant. He wanted to kill everyone and take all the spoils of war.

Their full-blown eruption suppressed the others, only they could get close to the energy cores.

Because the Spatial Movement Equipment was restricted, Tang Zheng could only retreat toward the Teleportation Gate; his mission was complete, no need for battle.

Tang Zheng was no brute, he wouldn’t throw his life away for greed.

Vasily switched from defense to offense as well; he had to plan for the future. After all, Bingxu was also a competitor.

The periphery battles also slowed down at this moment. The survivors looked toward the center of the battlefield. Despite the energy chaos obscuring their vision, they were anxious.

"The situation is set." Vasily knew his old rival Bingxu’s prowess, but in the next second, things changed unexpectedly.

Suddenly, a labyrinth domain appeared, suppressing these 4th Order heroes, greatly weakening their abilities and inducing a weakened state, making them lose their sense of space.

Prince, Giants, Wizards, Warrior ten-thousand squads appeared, besieging Bingxu and the Wild God. If they could not break through within twelve hours, they would be permanently exiled within the space, until death.

However, both were strong. Their ultimate abilities cleared out these magical soldiers instantly, only to see a woman in black and red magical armor shoot out from the space like an arrow, grabbing an energy core.

"All you despicable creatures, die!" Having the spoils snatched away continuously drove the Wild God to the brink of madness. He, who had never been disadvantaged, wanted to intercept that woman immediately.

The Wild God’s ultimate ability struck the woman’s back, but she also successfully entered the domain and vanished into thin air, not leaving a trace.

"Qian?" Though she was covered in armor, that female silhouette filled Tang Zheng with a sense of familiarity, especially the fleeting glance she cast at him before disappearing, an expression that seemed to be of a lover’s concern.

"Am I seeing things?" With half his body already in the Teleportation Gate, Bingxu suddenly sent the remaining two energy cores his way.

"Take them." Bingxu held off the Wild God with all his might, and upon seeing Tang Zheng catch them, he suddenly took out a pill and stuffed it into his mouth, forcefully boosting his strength.

"Don’t come over!" Tang Zheng stopped Lu Fan and the others from approaching; he was now a prime target to be attacked for possessing the energy cores.

Tang Zheng punched away a Level 1 Hero by the Teleportation Gate, intending to momentarily leave the scene, when Vasily appeared beside him, followed by the entire Moscow team arriving. They planned to use Tang Zheng as bait to kill those who came to snatch the energy cores.

When it comes to team combat, they are undoubtedly the best in the world.

"Full assault, kill them." The Wild God was burning with rage, his bellowing fierce, but in the next second, his expression visibly paused.

He received a report from a spy: Ferrando had left and was heading to Japan on an aircraft carrier.

"What’s going on? Even if he doesn’t help, he should be waiting to reap the benefits." The Wild God was confused, feeling certain that the man must have known some crucial information.

"Distracted during battle with me?" Bingxu wouldn’t miss such an opportunity and heavily damaged the Wild God.

Natasha immediately directed her team to create an opportunity for Bingxu to kill the Wild God, while Emily mobilized a large unit to stop any reinforcements.

The two hadn’t cooperated before, but in this instant, their synergy was flawless. As deputy leaders, their performance was beyond perfect.

If Ferrando’s ambitions had been smaller, and he had cooperated with the Wild God, it would have been Tang Zheng’s side that fell. But now, the Guardians’ camp was collapsing. (To be continued.
