After a few moments, Sera and Real went inside the store while Leo followed behind them.

They walked into the store and a gust of chilling wind, which was coming from the air conditioning, hit their bodies.

"Oh, what a nice store," Sera commented as her eyes scanned the interior.

Her footsteps echoed as her shoes clicked on the marble floor.

She was walking toward the female clothes section and passing through the male section.

Rael and Leo were walking right behind her.

Leo’s gaze was fixed on her purple hair and the long, silky strands swaying as her legs moved.

"Miss Sera," he called, and his tone was respectful.

"Hmm?" Sera responded, and her tone was calm.

"How much time do we have before arriving at your house?" he asked.

"Umm, about 32 minutes," she replied, and her voice was thoughtful.

"Is that so?" Leo’s reply was quick, and his tone was curt.

"Then excuse me," he bowed and lowered his body, "I can help Mr. Rael pick up the clothes while you pick your dress," Leo suggested.

"No need," Sera dismissed, and her voice was indifferent.

"What?" Leo’s gaze was fixed on her back, and his tone was shocked.

"Why?" he wondered.

"There is no need for you to help Rael pick up the clothes," Sera informed as she continued walking.

"But why, Miss Sera?" Leo pleaded.

"Because I know exactly what Rael needs and what he will wear," she explained. "I will be the one who will choose his clothes," Sera declared and turned and pointed her finger at him.

"You just need to tell him how he should behave in front of my family, and that is your only job." Sera paused for a moment, and she took a deep breath.

"Understood?!" She demanded, and her tone was authoritative.

"I-understood," Leo answered and bowed his head.

"Good," Sera was satisfied with the response, and a faint smile appeared on her lips.

"Let’s meet here, and once everyone has chosen their clothes, we will leave."

Sera turned her head around, and her gaze was focused on the other side of the store.

"There is the women’s clothes section," her purple eyes shifted, and she was looking at the area right in front of her.

"And the men’s clothing is over there,"

Sera raised her arm and pointed her finger.

"I think that Tuxedo will suit you so much, Rael," she stated, and her voice was filled with enthusiasm.

"It will bring out your broad shoulders and make you look even more handsome,"

Rael walked forward and stood right next to her.

"Really? Is that all it takes to impress you?" He asked, raising his right eyebrow as if teasing her.

"You know what," Sera paused and tilted her head to the left, "Yes," she nodded, and her tone was affirmative.

"Yes, it does,"

"If you look handsome and dashing," her gaze moved from the suits and the tuxedos, and she was now looking at Rael.

"If you look good and attractive,"

"If you look charming and gorgeous,"

"It is all I ask of you,"

Her purple orbs were locked on his blue sapphire orbs.

’That is what mom asked for so that is what I will do,’

’She is not the only one who wants to show him off and make everyone jealous,’

’Moreover, I also want to see him in a tuxedo,’

’It would look great on him,’ Sera thought, and a smile appeared on her face.

’Rael is just the type who will look amazing in any clothes he wears, but a tuxedo is a must-have, especially when he is attending an occasion with me,’

Sera was staring into his eyes, and her purple pupils were gazing at his blue sapphires.

"Alright," A gentle smile appeared on Rael’s lips as he replied, "If that is your wish, then I will oblige."

"Okay," Sera nodded, and a bright smile was visible on her face.

"Now, I will be going and see you soon,"

"Leo, tell Rael everything he needs to know, and don’t forget anything," she instructed as her purple orbs shifted, and her gaze landed on the masked man.

"Understood," Leo’s reply was quick and respectful.

He could see her being happy and having a smile on her face, and this was a rare sight.

Sera wasn’t the one who would show off something to others even if she had it, and she would never boast.

She was a reserved person, and her attitude was humble and polite.

’But she wants to show off her boyfriend and make everyone envious of her,’ Leo thought, and a smile was present on his face under his mask.

Leo laughed and raised his hand and covered his mouth, trying to suppress the sounds, but he was still chuckling.

And while he was busy in his own thoughts and chuckling, he didn’t realize that Rael was staring at him with a suspicious look on his face.

His sapphire eyes were locked on the assistant, and his gaze was sharp.

’What the hell is wrong with him? Is he really going crazy?’ Rael thought, his forehead was creased, and his eyebrows were furrowed.

"Hey Leo," Rael called.

"Y-yes," Leo was startled, and his body was shaken.

He didn’t expect that the silver-haired man would call out to him so suddenly.

"Yes, Mr. Rael,"

"Why are you laughing like that?" Rael questioned, he was leaning in and peering at him, his expression was sharp and his eyes were narrow.

"Was there something funny that I didn’t understand?" He asked.

"No," Leo shook his head, and his reply was quick.

"No, it wasn’t that,"

"Nothing was funny," he clarified, "I was just thinking," his voice trailed off.

"What were you thinking about?"

"Miss Sera," Leo began, "And her happiness," his reply was slow.

"Her happiness?" Rael muttered.

"Yeah, her happiness," Leo confirmed.

"So, what’s so funny about her happiness," Rael inquired, and seemed puzzled.

"Nothing is funny,"

"It’s just that I saw her smiling just a while ago, and it is a rare sight," Leo explained.

"Oh, is that it?" Rael questioned.

"Yeah, whenever she is around you, she has a smile on her face and seems happy," Leo revealed.

"And, it’s a rare occurrence when Miss Sera is smiling,"

"I see," Rael murmured, and his tone was casual.

"It is rare that she is smiling, huh?" his gaze moved to the place where Sera had disappeared and her purple hair could no longer be seen.

"Well, I guess I am lucky," he commented.

"Lucky?" Leo questioned, he couldn’t understand the meaning behind those words.

"Yes, lucky," Rael replied, and his words were sincere.

"Lucky,

for what?" Leo was puzzled.

"For being the reason for her smile and happiness,"

"The one who can make her laugh, the one who can make her smile, the one who makes her happy,"

"That is my role and my duty, the thing which only I can do, and no one else," Rael stated, "And that is the only thing I longed for, for so many years, and it is what I will fulfill for the rest of my life,"

"To become her support, her pillar of strength, her comfort, and her happiness," Rael declared, as his gaze moved and shifted from the area, and his sapphire orbs were now fixed on Leo.

"I will give her everything I have and be whatever she needs,"

"It is a vow, a promise that I have made to myself,"

"So, I will never make her cry, and I will only fill her mind with happiness and her heart with joy,"

"Even if it means I have to destroy the whole world, just for a single smile, I will do it," Rael admitted, and his expression was cold and emotionless.

Leo’s eyes were wide open, and a sense of danger could be felt from the figure in front of him.

He couldn’t believe his ears and was shocked to hear those words.

’D-destroy the whole world, just for a smile?’

’He can really do that?’

Leo was speechless, he was dumbfounded, and he was frozen in place.

Suddenly, he felt a burst of ominous aura, as his eyes caught the glimpse of blue smoke rising from Rael’s body.

The silver hair on the top of his head was swaying, and a few strands were floating, defying the laws of gravity.

His face was indifferent, and his eyes were sharp.

’He isn’t kidding!’ Leo’s eyes widened.

He did not doubt that Rael could and would destroy the world just for a single smile.

’He is too much, and I can’t believe his words,’

After Rael changed into a new set of clothes and put on the tuxedo, his appearance was stunning, and he was even more handsome.

He stood right next to the full-body mirror, and his reflection was visible.

"Do I look good?" He asked, turning his head to the side, and his sapphire orbs glanced over the man standing beside him.

"Yes, Mr. Rael, you look absolutely perfect," Leo answered.

"Is that so," Rael mumbled as he looked at himself in the mirror, and his reflection was gazing back at him.

’The clothes are comfortable, and it is not restricting my movement,’

’This will be good enough,’ Rael decided, and a faint smile was present on his face.

"Well, then," he turned his head, his sapphire orbs shifted, and now his gaze was locked on the woman standing right next to him.

She was one of the workers and was responsible for giving them the clothes and showing the different options available to them.

"Can you get another one just like this in blue color and wrap it up?" Rael requested.

But, he didn’t get a response from her, instead, the woman was gawking at him, her eyes were wide open, and her jaw was slightly agape.

"Is something wrong?" He questioned, as he tilted his head to the side and leaned forward.

"Uhh," the woman’s face instantly blushed, and her cheeks became rosy.

"Are you alright?" He asked, wondering if something was wrong with her.

"N-no, n-nothing," the woman stuttered, her cheeks were becoming more flushed, and the shade was darkening, even her ears were turning crimson.

"I-it’s nothing, sir," she answered, her hands were fidgeting, and she was rubbing her fingers.

"I will wrap your clothes up, right away," she said, and her voice was high-pitched.

"Thanks," Rael’s lips curved upwards, and a smile was visible on his face.

"Ahh," a sound escaped from the woman’s mouth, and her body was slightly shaking.

She quickly covered her mouth with her hand, and her palm was covering her lips.

’Hmm, strange,’ Rael’s expression was confused.

’What’s going on with her?’ He wondered, as he raised his eyebrow and gazed at the woman’s expression.

"Sir, I don’t know if I should say this or not,"

"But, you look very good, and your looks are breathtaking," the woman exclaimed, as her eyes were shining brightly, and her gaze was filled with adoration.

"Oh," Rael was surprised by the sudden compliment, and his expression was dumbfounded.

His first life as the Demon King was long, and it was spent in war, blood, and death.

Therefore, no one has ever praised him, and no one has ever appreciated his appearance except for his beloved.

It was the first time after Sera that a girl was telling him he was good-looking.

’Well, this is a bit awkward,’ Rael thought, as a soft sigh escaped from his lips.

The situation wasn’t new, but it was still unfamiliar and he was uncomfortable.

’She is looking at me like I am some kind of angel or something,’ Rael thought, and his eyes were filled with amusement.

As he was in deep thought, and his gaze was fixed on the woman in front of him, he saw her putting her hand in her pocket.

And, a moment later, she pulled out her phone.

"Sir, can I have your number, so I can text you?"

"Please," she pleaded, holding out the device in her hand.

"Give me your phone number, and let’s meet outside," she added.

"Number?" Rael was startled and his sapphires were wide open.

He didn’t know what kind of number she was talking about.

He didn’t know that she wanted his phone number so they could contact each other.

"Your phone number, give me your phone number, and here," She raised her phone and showed her contact number to Rael.

"Use this to call me," the woman insisted.

"Umm," Rael hesitated, he didn’t know what he should say to her, or how to respond.

’She is asking me for a number, but what number should I give her?’

’I don’t have any phone, and I don’t even have a number,’

Rael thought as he pondered.

’Even if I had one, I wouldn’t want to give it to her anyway,’

"Thank you for the offer,"

Rael politely declined the offer, a faint smile was present on his face.

"But, I have a lover," he continued, "So, I can’t give you my number,"

His words were sincere and filled with truth, as his eyes were staring into hers.

"L-lover?" the woman’s tone was shaky, and her eyes were shaking.

"You have a girlfriend?!" Her voice was high-pitched.

"Y-yes," Rael nodded.

"A, m, hmm, amm,"

The woman stuttered and seemed to be struggling.

She was muttering something under her breath, and her eyes were darting everywhere, except at him.

Then suddenly, she stopped moving and went quiet.

The woman’s face was filled with disappointment and sadness, and her shoulders were slumping down.

’Poor girl,’ Rael sighed.

He felt a little sympathy for her.

’It’s sad when someone likes you, and you already have someone else in your heart,’

’I can relate to that,’ he thought, and a frown was visible on his face.

Meanwhile, Leo was watching the scene unfold, and his eyes were twitching.

He was observing the conversation and listening to their discussion.

’I didn’t expect Mr. Rael would reject her so bluntly,’

’Not like I wanted him to accept her offer or something,’

’It’s just that I didn’t think he would decline the invitation so harshly and without hesitation,’

Leo shook his head, and his eyes were narrowed.
