After leaving the military camp, they first went to Tan Wei and Ji Yang’s apartment to set up a temperature controlling formation, and then Xiu Wu and Zhu Lin walked back to their apartment building.

When they climbed the stairs, they met Meng Zhelan and Wen Na who were resting there. Seeing the two of them sitting on the stairs again, Zhu Lin nodded to them as a greeting.

After smiling at Zhu Lin, they backed away to let them pass. The moment Wen Na’s eyes fell on Xiu Wu who was walking beside Zhu Lin, she widened her eyes and asked in surprise, "Are you the famous Captain Xiu?"

Seeing her excited expression and bright eyes, Zhu Lin glanced at the two of them back and forth for a moment. After thinking about it, she said, "I’m going back first."

Nodding again to Meng Zhelan and Wen Na, Zhu Lin climbed up the stairs. Seeing that she really left, Xiu Wu ignored Wen Na and hurriedly chased after her.

"Xiao Lin, wait for me. Let’s go together." He said as he caught up with her.

Zhu Lin looked at him and asked in surprise, "Don’t you know each other? Why did you leave her there? It seems she has something to say to you. Is it alright for you to just leave her like this?"

She thought they were acquaintances, so she left first so that they could chat comfortably. Unexpectedly, Xiu Wu followed her instead of staying to chat with Wen Na.

Seeing her puzzled look, Xiu Wu was relieved and disappointed at the same time. He was relieved because she did not misunderstand his relationship with other women, but disappointed because she could leave calmly without any feeling of jealousy.

Suspecting that his madness had relapsed again, Xiu Wu shook his head to clear his mind and said, "No. I don’t know her at all."

After Meng Zhelan and Wen Na could no longer hear Zhu Lin and Xiu Wu’s voices, the two of them looked at each other with surprise and excitement in their eyes. Wen Na pointed upstairs and looked at Meng Zhelan with wide eyes.

Seeing her looking at him with a troubled expression, Xiu Wu thought for a while and put Tu Tu on the old sofa. He stood up, looked at Zhu Lin with an apologetic smile and said, "I’m sorry I was careless. I will go back first. See you tomorrow, Xiao Lin."

Before Zhu Lin could speak, Xiu Wu had already left. Looking at the closed door, she scratched her cheek in doubt, then turned to look at Tu Tu and asked, "Why did he suddenly leave? He didn’t even drink water before leaving."

Tu Tu, who was lying on the old sofa while patting its little heart, looked at its master and said, "Master, he left because he saw your troubled expression."

I am very happy to have a friend in this foreign world, but I am also afraid that if he is really the Devil God, then one day I must kill him.
