As she stepped out of the shower room, Remillia tried to maintain a composed expression, but her eyes still blazed with embarrassment. Kairos was already dressed in his clothes, looking as cold and collected as ever.

"Since I’m done helping you, I should get going now."

She was about to leave when he spoke next to her, "Wait, I just want to say thank you... despite putting us in an awkward position awhile ago."

Remillia’s face blushed again as she tried to explain to him, "I already said I’m sorry and for the record I ’accidentally ’slipped so it wasn’t my fault!"

Kairos tried not to laugh at her sudden outburst, "What’s your name?"

She froze for a moment before opening the door, "There’s no need for you to know my name besides this will be our last time seeing each other."

"Bye, squirrel."

This time, she quickly looked at him, "I-I don’t know what you’re talking about."

"You know what I’m talking about, squirrel."

When he took a step forward, I immediately opened the door and sprinted away from that place, afraid that he would catch me.

Kairos was smiling while looking at the retreating figure of Remillia.

’Why does she also run like a squirrel?’

If his right hand man was here, he must be hyperventilating right now seeing that I’m still smiling.

He grabbed his phone and called a number as he walked away from the academy.

"Remillia Lockhart."

"Write down her name. I want her to be part of our group."

He added Remillia Lockhart on the list. They need four more candidates. I might as well go back to the Academy again.

Remillia was clenching her chest as she tried to calm down. She was currently hiding in the back room of the arena.

"W-wait!" She was still tired from all that running.

"Yoo-hoo~ Forgetting someone?"

Cypher looked back behind them and immediately regretted it. He pretended not to see them as he gently tugged Remillia.

"There are a bunch of mosquitoes here, let’s go now before they have the chance to bite us."

"Huh? But it seems to me that I just heard Angela’s voice?"

Just then, Angela came running up to us as she grabbed my shoulder, "Cypher! Did you just pretend to see us or not?"

He innocently smiled at her, "What are you saying? How can I recognize you when you’re far away from us?"

Angela rolled her eyes at him before looking at me excitedly, "Have you watched my match?"

I chuckled nervously before shaking my head. "No? I only got to watch Cypher’s match and then I went somewhere due to urgent matters."

Hearing what she said, Cypher’s smile reached to his ears while Angela’s smile is the opposite. Whitney and the others soon catch up to us.

Rex was the first one to talk since he was shocked to see that my wounds are already fading. He grabbed my left arm and examined it.

"Hey witch what kind of ointment are you using? It’s really effective."

"It’s from an anonymous sponsor."

"Mind sharing with me then?"

"No."

"Pretty please?"

"Stop fluttering your eyelids, my fist suddenly want to punch your face."

"Oh come on, witch! Do you know the part where you stabbed me still hurts?"

Rex was still holding her arm when he felt a malicious intent aimed at him, he looked behind Remillia and was spooked to see Cypher wanting to kill him.

"Nevermind, I’ll just buy another ointment." He quickly released Remillia’s arm as he backed away from her.

"Why are you there?"

"Who me? I felt that there’s a killer mosquito that want to suck my blood out so I quickly ran over here."

"Is that so? Then I should also go there then."

Rex felt that his death was nearing as Cypher glared at him again.

"Y-you stay there! The mosquito must have followed me here!"

Remillia sensed that Rex was being weird so she turned around and faced Cypher, "did you sense any mosquitoes?"

"I already shooed the mosquito away, it must have followed Rex."

"I see."

"Hey, what’s with the long face?"

Edge quickly went to Angela’s side as he worriedly look at her.

"Great timing. We will join you then since we don’t have any scheduled fights later."

Cypher nodded while smiling although he was already clenching his teeth.

’I should have looked for Remi earlier. Maybe at this time, we wouldn’t have been interrupted by these mosquitoes.’

"Where should we go?"

"Do you know any shopping malls here?"

"Oh, I know one! I want to shop for new clothes."

The girls were busy chatting with each other while the four men followed them from behind.

Remillia tiredly flopped down on the bed. Today’s events were too much for her but when I looked at the paper bags beside her and I only smiled while remembering what happened a while ago.

When we were at the shopping mall, Angela and Whitney bought me clothes but I declined since I still have dozens of it. However when they accompanied me at my dorm room, they literally forced the paper bags on me and pushing me inside my room. When I tried to open the door, they threatened me that they would vote to fight me early tomorrow morning if I return what they gave to me. Of course I don’t want that so in the end, I gave up and said thank you to them.

Macaron flew to her and landed on her stomach.

<Did you have fun master?>

"A little bit tiring but yeah, it’s nice to hang out once in a while."

<Oh, nothing. Apparently when i was out hunting, I saw one of my kind doing this sound, I might as well make it your personal alarm clock seeing that you woke up immediately.>

Remillia massaged her head, still aching from waking up so suddenly, "Can’t you just wake me up using your normal routine?"

<Nope, those routines don’t work for you.>

Macaron then flew to her calendar, <It’s a good choice that I woke you up early, the Wednesday is circled in red and says Part 3. Exam: Monster Subjugation.>

"Oh, shoot. I must hurry up then."
