‎Location: Royal Academy - Council Chamber, Post-Banquet Cleanup

‎‎Zephyr turned his gaze upward, where Selena Frostveil stood with arms crossed and a clipboard glowing with ominous magical annotations. Her blue eyes narrowed in clinical disapproval.

‎‎“You cleaned the aftermath of the royal banquet… using only a mop and reverse gravity?”

‎‎Zephyr shrugged. “It was efficient. Everything hit the ceiling, then I released the spell and caught it midair in a gravity net.”

‎‎Selena’s lips pressed into a line that would terrify most alchemy students. “That spell requires four incantations, two stabilizing glyphs, and a 72-hour cooldown.”

‎‎“I improvised,” Zephyr said, biting into a lemon tart Rosalia had “accidentally” left behind.

‎‎Drakynia stood nearby, arms folded, scowling at a table. "Who made the napkins spontaneously combust? I smell sabotage."

‎‎A very nervous noble girl raised her hand. "I-I sneezed. I'm allergic to enchanted swan-folds."

‎‎Rosalia placed a gentle hand over her heart. "A noble's sneeze must never be punished."

‎‎Selena rubbed her temple. “We're never using imported elven centerpieces again.”

‎Location: Storage Closet #7 — Two Hours Later

‎‎Zephyr was stacking enchanted chairs with one hand and levitating confetti with the other.

‎‎“Dungeon duty was easier than this,” he muttered.

‎‎Beside him, Arwen Galehart floated six trays into a dimensional storage scroll, her icy composure restored.

‎“You should have let me handle the magic weaving,” she said without looking at him.

‎‎“You were busy threatening the violinist,” Zephyr replied.

‎‎“He skipped four arpeggios,” she said, scandalized.

‎‎Zephyr chuckled. “You’re terrifying when you're classy.”

‎‎Arwen flushed, nearly dropping a tray. “I-I am always classy.”

‎Location: Balcony Overlooking the Central Fountain

‎‎Selena stood alone, staring at the cleanup below. Moonlight glinted off her glasses.

‎‎Rosalia approached quietly, holding a wrapped cupcake.

‎‎“You’re frowning again,” Rosalia said.

‎‎“I’m calculating,” Selena replied.

‎‎“Calculating what?”

‎‎“…How many impossible variables Zephyr represents.”

‎‎Rosalia offered her the cupcake.

‎‎Selena stared at it. “This has a blessing rune embedded.”

‎‎Rosalia smiled. “You need more sugar. And faith.”

‎Location: Courtyard Gate — Nightfall

‎‎Zephyr leaned against a wall, mop in hand, gazing at the moon.

‎‎Tonight had been strange — nobles bickering, food flying, secret tests of character hidden in wine goblets. And somehow, his mop had been used as a symbol of diplomacy.

‎‎“I’m just a janitor,” he muttered.

‎‎But the wind carried whispers.

‎‎A soft glow lit up his mop — no longer ordinary, no longer unnoticed. A subtle ripple of world-energy flowed into it.

‎‎And across the academy, someone was watching.

‎‎A figure cloaked in shadow, sitting atop a clocktower.

‎‎“He doesn't even realize it yet...” the Cloaked Watcher whispered. “The world is cleaning itself around him.”
