Chapter 90: Chapter 90

Watts slowly stood up, his movements deliberate, his expression unreadable. He exhaled deeply, closing his eyes as he steadied his thoughts.

The curse placed upon him had shackled him, stripping away all his other abilities, all the potential he was supposed to wield, all the power that should have been his to command.

It had blocked everything—his innate gifts, the abilities of his race, even the very essence of what he could become.

And yet, for some reason beyond his understanding, he had been left with one singular ability.

He could still turn others.

That single loophole in the curse was something he was going to use to its fullest potential.

If he could not yet reclaim his own strength, then he would ensure that his family did. Layla. Liz. They would not remain weak.

He would give them the power they needed. The power they deserved. The power they would one day use to stand beside him as equals.

After all, the race he had evolved into—Supreme Human—was far beyond broken in terms of growth potential.

Perhaps it lacked the diverse abilities that other races boasted, or perhaps he simply had not unlocked them yet, but its true strength lay in its unparalleled adaptability.

To put it simply, it was a race designed to evolve and adapt at a rate a million times faster than that of a normal human.

That alone was beyond overpowered. It meant that no matter what challenges they faced, no matter how strong their enemies were, no matter the limitations set upon them, they would always rise above.

They would always push forward. They would always become stronger.

And all he had to do... was will it.

That was all it took for someone to undergo the transformation. No complicated rituals, no exhausting requirements.

If he wished it, the change would happen. But there was a catch. The transformation process was exclusive to humans.

Only a human could evolve into a Supreme Human.

For those of other races, however, the change would be different.

They would transform into a subspecies connected to the Supreme race—akin to how vampires and undead were linked under the same category but remained distinct from one another.

This meant that while the transformation would still grant incredible power, the specifics of that power would differ depending on their original race.

However, that wasn’t all.

As a progenitor, Watts wasn’t just able to create new members of his race—he also had the ability to select generals.

Four, to be exact. Those chosen would receive an even greater gift, a heightened version of the evolution granted to normal converts.

Watts himself, as a progenitor, was already far beyond what a normal Supreme Human should have been.

His very title granted him an unfathomable boost.

Instead of merely evolving a million times faster than a regular human, he evolved a hundred million times faster. The growth potential he had was absurd to the point of insanity.

And his generals... they would receive a fraction of that power.

But even a fraction of something broken was still broken in its own way.

Each of his generals would evolve and adapt ten million times faster than an ordinary human. Ten million times.

That meant they were practically guaranteed to become beings beyond normal comprehension. The longer they fought, the more powerful they became.

The more they trained, the faster their abilities would advance.

Every battle would refine them, every opponent would push them further, every challenge would sculpt them into forces of nature.

This was an ability that defied logic itself. It was, in essence, the closest thing to the mythical concept of an unbeatable warrior.

The more they fought, the stronger they became. The more they struggled, the faster they adapted.

No matter how powerful their enemies were, no matter how impossible the gap seemed, their very existence would force them to bridge that distance.

It was an ability that ensured that, given enough time, they would always catch up.

And that was not even considering the other perks of the transformation.

A Supreme Human possessed a vastly extended lifespan, stretching far beyond that of an ordinary human. Their bodies were no longer bound by the frailties of their former selves.

Their minds were incomprehensibly enhanced, processing information at speeds that dwarfed even the most advanced supercomputers.

Every thought, every calculation, every strategy—executed with precision beyond what was naturally possible.

In every way that mattered, they were no longer just human.

Watts opened his eyes, his golden irises shimmering faintly with an otherworldly glow.

It was time.

He reached out, placing a hand on Liz’s forehead and another on Layla’s.

The moment contact was made, an invisible force rippled through the air, a pulse of energy so subtle yet so overwhelmingly potent that it seemed to send tremors through the very fabric of existence.

Liz and Layla’s bodies stiffened, their breath hitching as something within them... shifted. It was not painful, not at all.

In fact, it was the opposite.

It felt like their bodies had been waiting for this.

Like something deep inside them had always known that this change was supposed to happen.

Like every cell in their bodies had been longing for it. Embracing it. Desperate for it.

And now that the transformation had begun, there was no rejection. No resistance. No hesitation.

The change swept through them like a wildfire, swift and absolute, leaving no room for uncertainty.

Their very essence was being rewritten, reshaped into something greater, something beyond what they had ever been.

A human turning into another race was an unnatural act, something that went against the very will of the universe itself.

That was why it was so incredibly difficult to accomplish. That was why so few ever succeeded.

But this... this was different.

The Supreme race was not something that existed outside of the universe’s will. It was not an aberration. It was not an abomination. It was something that had been accepted.

Recognized.

Blessed.

And because of that, there was no rejection. No backlash.

The universe itself allowed this transformation to happen without resistance.

As the power surged through them, Watts could feel it. The bond between them strengthening. The connection forming.

His first two generals were awakening.

And soon, they would be unstoppable.

Liz and Layla stood there for a moment, dazed and overwhelmed by the sensations surging through their bodies.

It was unlike anything they had ever experienced before. It was as if their very essence was being rewritten, their existence being reshaped from the inside out.

The feeling was not painful exactly, but it was deeply uncomfortable—a sensation so alien that words could barely describe it.

It started deep within, a bubbling heat spreading through their veins, something far beyond normal bodily functions.

If anything, it was akin to the sensation of having an intense bout of food poisoning—that unbearable churning in the gut—except it wasn’t isolated to the stomach.

It was deeper than that, more primal, like their very cells were being forced to evolve at an unnatural rate.

Their blood rushed through their bodies at an insane velocity, their heartbeats escalating to speeds that should have been fatal.

The sheer force of it all was dizzying, almost like being trapped in a never-ending freefall.

Liz, despite the excruciating discomfort, kept herself composed.

She dropped into a cross-legged position, closing her eyes with a deep frown and grinding her teeth against the sensations.

Years of discipline had made her strong, and she forced herself to endure without so much as a single cry of pain.

But Layla? Well, Layla was not handling it nearly as well. In fact, it was comical.

She was rolling on the floor, scratching every inch of her skin as if she were on fire, her body reacting as though she were trying to claw her way out of herself.

"Watts! You heartless bastard! What the hell did you do to me?!" she screeched, her face twisted in both pain and irritation.

"I swear if I die from this, I’ll haunt you! You’re a devil! No—worse than a devil! What kind of monster makes his own sister go through something like this?! And me! A beauty like me! How could you put me through such an embarrassing experience?!"

Despite himself, Watts shook his head, unable to suppress a small smirk.

Even in the middle of experiencing a radical transformation beyond human comprehension, Layla somehow found a way to turn it into a comedic rant.

He had to admire her tenacity, even if her dramatics were completely over the top.

Then, after a minute of intense discomfort, the change reached its peak. The power bubbling within them finally exploded outward, enveloping both Layla and Liz in radiant cocoons of light blue energy.

The light was brilliant, almost ethereal, pulsating with an otherworldly glow.

The second Layla was encased in the cocoon, her complaints came to an abrupt stop, cutting off whatever insult she had been about to hurl at Watts.

Watts sighed in relief, thankful for the silence.

He activated his Eyes of the Universe, scanning them both to determine how long this hibernation would last.

It wasn’t long, less than an hour at most.

He supposed he could just sit and wait for them to emerge, but honestly, watching two glowing cocoons for forty minutes sounded both weird and incredibly creepy.

Very creepy actually, it was like watching two women having a bath.

Nope, he needed to find something else to do in the meantime.

And he knew just the thing.
