Chapter 43: Chapter 43
On the twenty-seventh day of Time Dilation—barely seven hours in real-world time—Watts’ preparations were finally reaching their culmination.
Watts flexed his fingers, feeling the surge of energy coursing through him.
The leveling had given him speed, strength, and agility way beyond his previous limits—but he still had gaps.
His reflexes were fast, but his control was shaky, and the Eyes, while powerful, couldn’t always predict the chaos of a fight.
That is why he had prepared something during this time of levelling up.
Patiently, he had spent twenty-seven days gathering creation energy at precise intervals, storing it meticulously in glowing orbs.
After weeks____ almost a month, of painstaking preparation, the moment had arrived—his plan was ready to unfold.
//Creation of a multidimensional time machine in process...//
//Creation successful.//
//Description:A machine capable of transporting the host to another world for an indefinite period. Upon return, the host will reappear at the exact moment of departure, regardless of how many years pass in the other world.//
This was it—the reason he’d endured all those instances of energy collection during his peaceful levelling up.
The multidimensional time machine would give him what he craved most: unlimited time and freedom to train.
Standing before the machine, Watts hesitated, his breath catching as his fingers brushed its sleek, futuristic surface.
The machine’s interface pulsed under his fingertips, displaying a grid of worlds too vast___ too many to even comprehend.
Watts couldn’t select one outright—the algorithm determined destinations randomly to prevent interference from external forces.
But with luck on his side, he could nudge the probabilities in his favor.
The faint pulse of power it emitted seemed almost alive, matching the rhythm of his racing heart.
His hands trembled as he reached for the controls.
What if it failed? The thought hit him hard, a sudden crack in his confidence.
This wasn’t a reckless leap. Twenty-seven days of relentless leveling had honed his strength, but he needed to be sure—sure he could wield it without hesitation.
Even with all his newfound power, he wanted to ensure he was fully prepared to face whatever came next—especially if he intended to rescue his family.
In truth, with his abilities as they stood now, he could probably steal his family away without much trouble.
The Eyes of the Universe alone could locate them in an instant, and teleport them away, it would be child’s play.
But there was a problem: retaliation.
The Order, once they realized what he was capable of, wouldn’t hesitate to unleash their full might against him.
He was still leagues away from being able to stand against them, let alone the paragons. One wrong move, and he’d put his family—and himself—in even greater danger.
The Order had eyes everywhere. Its genetically engineered enforcers of its will—were said to be unstoppable.
Watts had seen just memories of some of them in action in action. One particular gleaming figure of raw power, obliterating an entire resistance cell in moments.
So he had to think with his head. He wasn’t ready to face that kind of strength.
No, it’s not time for that yet, Watts thought.
For now, it was time for an adventure.
The machine would randomly select a planet and transport him there. But Watts had learned something new—how to control his luck
.And if there was one thing he had in abundance, it was luck.
The system hadn’t exaggerated when it called his luck extreme. With it, he could manipulate probability to such a degree that even the most unlikely outcomes became inevitable.
If someone for some reason sent a god to assassinate him, there was a chance that god might forget their mission—or even decide to ally with him.
Well, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, Watts admitted to himself, grinning. But you get the point.
Focusing his will, he directed his luck to guide the machine’s choice. He willed it to take him to a planet where he could grow stronger, faster—where he would gain more.
The machine vibrated with a low, ominous hum, its internal mechanisms stirring like the heartbeat of something alive.
Watts stepped into the center, every fiber of his being vibrating with anticipation.
"This better work," he muttered, his voice barely audible over the rising noise.
A flash of light erupted, blinding him momentarily. The air crackled, the temperature around him plummeting. He felt his body grow weightless, as though gravity had loosened its grip.
Then, the sensation turned—his limbs felt stretched, elongated, as if space itself was pulling him apart.
His vision warped, colors bleeding together in chaotic swirls. The sound of his heartbeat echoed in his ears, growing louder until it was deafening.
And then, silence.
As his vision cleared, a surreal world unfolded—a vibrant, untamed expanse teeming with life that defied imagination.
Billions—no, zillions—of light-years away from Earth, on a planet teeming with possibilities.
An adventure unlike anything he had ever known was about to begin.
He found himself standing on a large, rugged rock at the edge of a dense, otherworldly forest.
Towering trees with emerald-green foliage stretched skyward, their shadows sprawling across a forest floor brimming with lush undergrowth.
The air is thick with mist, giving the scene an ethereal quality.
In the distance, jagged, dark mountains rise dramatically, their peaks crowned with a soft, otherworldly glow, while a massive planet looms in the sky, its surface glowing with hues of blue and purple.
The light from the setting sun casting a warm, orange tint on the landscape, while a lone bird soars in the distance, completing this serene yet awe-inspiring moment on an alien world.
As Watts gazed at the breathtaking sight before him, a flood of emotions surged within him. Awe gripped his heart, a deep sense of wonder at the raw beauty of this alien world.
The colossal trees and jagged mountains loomed around him, while the massive planet overhead dwarfed everything in sight.
Awe and insignificance gripped him, but so did a flicker of defiance—an urge to claim his place in this vast new reality.
This was a place untouched by time and conflict, a realm where he could begin anew—where the weight of his past struggles might finally loosen.
However, a sharp pang of loneliness struck him, standing alone in this vast, strange world.
But loneliness was a luxury he couldn’t afford—not now.
But beneath that feeling of isolation, there was a flicker of determination. This place, so foreign and immense, could be the key to his transformation.
His eyes narrowed as he set his gaze on the glowing horizon.
He wasn’t just here to survive; he was here to thrive, to become someone capable of overcoming the trials that awaited him.
This was the beginning of something greater—something that would reshape his destiny.
Taking a steadying breath, Watts activated his Eyes of the Universe. Instantly, the alien landscape unraveled before him, every detail laid bare with unnerving clarity.
His mind worked tirelessly, processing the flood of data his eyes provided.
And in no time, he had a rough map of the whole planet. Where every strong beast was, where a hoard of beasts were, clear spots, waterbodies and so on.
Wondering why only beasts?
This planet dwarfed Earth, its vastness both awe-inspiring and intimidating. Unlike Earth, where humanity ruled, this world belonged to its beasts.
Behemoth beasts roamed the skies, seas, and forests, their auras humming with raw power.
In fact, he hadnt seen any single human on this planet. All he saw were different kinds of animals, in the sky, on land and in seas.
The only humanoid species he knew here were goblins, orcs and horse men. However, there were other humanoid races he had no idea of.
And what Watts didnt know was that this wasn’t just any planet—it was a training ground of legends.
The beasts here weren’t mindless predators; they were ancient, cunning, and evolved to dominate their domains.
Some even possessed abilities rivaling low-tier paragons, making them both deadly foes and invaluable teachers.
With a complete map etched in his mind, Watts’ next move was clear: exploration and confrontation.
The beasts here weren’t just powerful—they were predators, and he was the intruder. Every step would be a test, but Watts welcomed it.
He hadn’t come all this way to hide—he had come to grow stronger.
And the auras radiating from the beasts around him were overwhelming—some bordering on terrifying.
Frustratingly so.
