Chapter 102: Chapter 102

"That’s why am here really, I’m quitting." Watts said slowly.

"You’re what?" Flemington froze for a moment, seemingly trying to wrap his mind about Watt’s statement.

Watts could only smile and wait for it.

"Then why the fuck are you even here?" Fleming snapped.

Ah, there it is.

"Cant I say a goodbye to my friend?" Watts asked back.

"Bullshit, did you come to say goodbye to me or to your little girlfriends?" Fleming asked in exasperation as he sat back down.

Watts acted a bit shocked at the fact that Fleming knew about his little escapades with women at the airport, earning himself a disdainful look from Fleming.

"What? You thought I wouldn’t find out?" Fleming said disdainfully, "Though I have to ask, how do you do it bro?" he added, leaning in eagerly.

Watts leaned in too and whispered "Its all about gym and luck my friend," as he directed a look at Fleming’s huge stomach.

Fleming bent down and looked at his own stomach which was sitting on his laps right now and looked back at Watts coldly.

"Fuck you man." He said.

Making Watts bust out in laughter, he really liked this dude. And so just like that, he decided to give this man a promotion.

After all he now owned a lot of shares in many businesses around the world he didn’t know how many, in fact he didn’t care.

But he knew even if he didn’t have shares in LAX, him just requesting the high ups would make the job done.

"Black, make it happen" he mentally ordered.

"Right away sir," came the AI’s reply.

This exchange took a fraction of a nanosecond a normal person would never even know it occurred even if the words were said out loud.

After all the speed at which they would be uttered would be insane for any normal brain to interpret.

"Yeah anyway, do I have to fill in the papers?" Watts asked.

A Few Moments Later.

Watts was riding to his next destination. Fleming hadn’t made anything hard for him, all he required of him was an email and he would take care of the rest for Watts.

Fleming was still worried that Watts was I trouble, and he really wanted to help which he made sure that Watts understood.

Watts couldn’t help but smile, he really was in trouble, a lot of trouble in fact. It was too much to even think about that any normal person would fold.

Especially this morning when he woke up able to look at anyone who thought of him, that is when he knew what kind of shit he was in.

Really powerful dudes were after him, but the most dreading was that slight connection he felt with someone very far away from the milk way galaxy.

The connection was weird, it was like he could feel a long lost brother or sister, only that his power in death told him that it would be his death the moment they met.

And we are talking about true death despite the fact that he is death itself.

Now he had tried to look at this person with his powers but in vain, his only guess was that it was another Aeonborn who was hostile.

How did he come to that conclusion? Well it’s the fact that his bloodline was reacting to the connection.

And it made him scared. Like really really scared. Because if this was another Aeonborn, then he was doomed.

After all, it meant that they would have the same insane powers as him but way stronger provided he was sure the other party was much older than him.

So the amount of experience they must have should be insane.

Which is why he had to get stronger as fast as possible before he could face that monster because if he could sense them, then they could sense him too.

They probably were on there way here. If only he knew how true that was.

Anyway, for now, his main body would be taking things slow as his clones worked on getting stronger. This was why he was headed to Pistil’s home right now.

Now it was still a bit early and it was a week day so Pistil shouldn’t be at home, but that didn’t mean Watts couldn’t go there.

He had Pistil’s key to the apartment and could enter any time he felt like it.

So riding slowly through the morning traffic, he made his way to his big nosed friend apartment. Making his way up slowly, he reached the door.

But it seemed there was someone inside, and it wasn’t Pistil, it was a woman.

So Watts knocked on the door slowly.

"Coming." Came the reply.

Watts could hear the shuffling of feet inside and a few moments later, the door clicked open, revealing a woman in her twenties.

She was a blond, petite, with a few freckles on the bridge of her nose and was a bit above average in appearance.

Actually she was quite a beauty, just that Watt’s concept of beauty was a bit crocked considering he has been spending time with supreme human women.

Who by the way even the ugliest of all could be considered a Hollywood star on earth, a role model for all actresses.

"Oh, Watts, welcome. Come on in." she smiled brightly at seeing Watts.

"Thank you." Watts replied as he shuffled in. "How have you been?" he asked.

They both made their way to the sitting room as Petra answered, "Oh I’ve been quite okay these past few days, yeah."

Yes, her method of speech was a bit weird sometimes, but you get used to it with time. Now Petra was a good girl, at least that was Watts impression of her.

He was quite happy his friend managed to get quite the catch on his first few attempts unlike him who was still confused about a choice.

Pistil and Petra were like the best couple one could find out there, and there love for each other was real.

And truth be told, Watts found Petra’s company to be comfortable really, he really liked her. And no, not romantically, it’s just that she really stood with both him and Pistil through thick and thin.

"Yeah? Well isn’t that great. So I guess Pistil stopped drinking much?" Watts asked as he plumped into the coach.
