📢 New Novel Launch!

In that moment, the entire world seemed to have no more secrets in Xu Zimo’s eyes. From the very beginning of this Epoch, all the great events recorded in the River of Fate were now unfolding before him.

The Legendary Era, once only known through vague legends and scattered fragments, now played out in full, from its earliest origins, to its peak, and eventually to its decline, all revealed before his eyes, the never-ending eternity of time affecting him profoundly.

As the Legendary Era faded, the Desolate Era began, marking the lowest point in human history.

During this era, humans were weak and insignificant. Desolate beasts who fed on raw flesh and blood ruled the world. There was no such concept as Heaven’s Will. All living beings were just fumbling along a path of martial cultivation, like grasshoppers trying to cross a highway.

Watching these monumental moments unfold so vividly, Xu Zimo felt like he wasn’t just observing history, but experiencing it firsthand, like he had truly entered the Desolate Era himself.

As that era declined, Zhen Wu, the first Grand Emperor, shouldered the Heaven's Will and opened the curtain to a flourishing age of mankind.

Every generation of Grand Emperors, every event powerful enough to shake an entire era, from Grand Emperor Zhen Wu, to Grand Empress Hongtian, to Grand Emperor Shen Ri, Grand Emperor Sha, and more, all of their pasts played out before Xu Zimo like an open book, with no secrets.

He witnessed how the Imperial Era began, how the Heaven's Will formed, what the Hundred Battle Physiques truly signified at the dawn of the Epoch...

And in that moment, Xu Zimo learned the name of the mysterious orb that had brought him here to the River of Fate: the Primordial Chaos Bead.

At the beginning of this Epoch, it had been one of the most critical artifacts in the world's formation. Yet by some strange twist of fate, he had refined it.

Once he had seen all the secrets of eternity through the River of Fate, the Primordial Chaos Bead began to hum and resonate.

An unfathomable power radiated from it, causing the entire starry sky to roar and tremble.

The River of Fate beside him boiled in unrest. Its pale waters rippled through the endless void, and every movement carried the power to reshape destinies.

Then, the Primordial Chaos Bead flew high into the sky, and a gray beam of light shot from it, shining down on a small section of the River of Fate.

That part of the river instantly froze, ceasing its flow.

Moments later, the Primordial Chaos Bead surged upward, ripping that section of the river free and carrying it away into the cosmos.

Xu Zimo felt his consciousness grow hazy once more, as the Primordial Chaos Bead carried him who-knows-where.

Eventually, when he awakened again, his awareness had returned to his physical body, back in the courtyard on South Goose Mountain.

And inside him, the True Fate World he had just formed had undergone a complete transformation.

The Primordial Chaos Bead had brought that small segment of the River of Fate into his internal world.

Though only a portion, it was now severed from the greater River of Fate and had become an independent existence.

For now, this fragment was still weak and had to rely on his world to survive.

It provided time and destiny to the world, while the world in turn nourished it with energy to grow.

Once it merged into Xu Zimo’s True Fate World, the river flowed even more vigorously, as if it were joyful.

Xu Zimo could actually feel the river’s emotion, it was pleading with him to fully integrate it into the world, to become its own River of Fate.

At that moment, Xu Zimo felt like the absolute ruler of this realm. Every thought and gesture of his could reshape the laws of existence, as if he were the creator god.

As he gave consent with a thought, the world no longer resisted the river’s presence.

Ripples formed around the river as it slowly merged into the world’s core, becoming one with the realm.

With its integration, Xu Zimo’s world gained time and destiny.

From this moment on, all things in this world would be bound by the River of Fate.

Suddenly, in the sky, once fractured like a spiderweb, a sun and a moon appeared.

The sun settled in the extreme east.

The moon in the extreme west.

Both began to move westward in unison, when the sun reached the west, the moon rose in the east.

From then on, this world had day and night, a sense of time, and all things finally had a path for their fates to follow.

Once the River of Fate had fully merged, the Primordial Chaos Bead above the world also emitted a desire, to merge with this world as well.

Xu Zimo understood that his True Fate World, at its core, was still limited. The World Pearl had allowed him to build a pseudo-world, but not a true one.

Now, with the Primordial Chaos Bead, he saw a real possibility, to evolve this pseudo-world into an authentic living world.

He wasn’t sure if it would work, but if the chance was there, he had to try.

As he agreed, the Primordial Chaos Bead released a brilliant gray light that enveloped the entire world.

The sky. The earth. The seas. Everything was bathed in that sacred light.

The broken, cracked sky began to heal, slowly turning a deep and vibrant blue.

The once-devastating divine thunder vanished. The roaring seas calmed. The fractured ground regathered, and volcanoes that once raged fell silent.

Suddenly, the entire world fell into tranquil silence, and the Primordial Chaos Bead sank into the deepest part of the realm, vanishing from sight.

…

In the clear blue sky, white clouds drifted lazily. The sunlight poured over the earth.

The land was vast and steady. The seas sparkled beneath the light, gently lapping with soft waves.

At that moment, Xu Zimo could feel the power in his body multiply, not just a little, but by dozens of times.

Though he was still in the Desolate Meridian Realm, his strength had undergone a true transformation.

His True Fate World was now constantly nourishing him with power. He exhaled deeply and stood up.

The fusion with the Primordial Chaos Bead had gone far more smoothly than he had imagined. And now, this world was no longer just a pseudo-world.

It had gained the potential to become a true realm.

Of course, for now, that was just potential.

His True Fate World was still uninhabitable. It lacked two critical forces:

Only after obtaining and integrating these two elements would his inner world truly qualify as a real world, a realm where life could flourish.
