I Need Wives For My Gacha System -
Chapter 91 - Closed Door Cultivation
Chapter 91: Chapter 91 - Closed Door Cultivation
Tia didn’t want to live in fear, constantly looking over her shoulder, knowing she had poisoned someone, knowing she had caused harm. She had never taken a life in her entire life and she wasn’t about to start now.
"No..." she whispered again, her voice barely audible as the weight of the decision crushed her. She couldn’t bring herself to look him in the eye, her gaze shifting downward as tears streamed down her face.
"I can’t." Julius stepped forward, his face now hard with anger.
"Tia, are you going to do it or not?"
His voice rose, growing more forceful with each word as if he was going to take their relationship to the ground if this request was not fulfilled.
Her body trembled as she cried silently. She had always tried to keep him happy. But this... this was something she couldn’t give in to. She couldn’t betray Rex like this, couldn’t take part in a scheme so vile.
She clutched her arms tightly to her chest, sobbing quietly, unable to speak or even look at him. The struggle inside her was palpable, but she stood her ground, her refusal more evident in the way her body shook than any words she could muster.
Julius, seeing that his harsh approach wasn’t working, softened a little.
"I’m sorry, Tia," he said, his voice now pleading.
"I was just... overreacting"
"I didn’t mean to upset you"
"Please, I just wanted us to be together"
"Don’t you understand?"
He reached out, gently cupping her face in his hands. She flinched at the touch but didn’t pull away.
Julius wiped away a tear that had fallen from her cheek, and his expression softened, his gaze full of regret.
His lips were so close to hers now, and he leaned in, intent on kissing her. But just as he was about to, Tia pulled back quickly, shaking her head. Her voice was small, but firm.
"No"
"We can’t do this"
"Unless we are married, doing such things are not allowed"
With that, she turned and fled, leaving Julius standing there.
However, she couldn’t see what had been left, Julius’s face flushed with anger and frustration. He watched her run, but she didn’t see the rage in his eyes. His hands clenched into fists as he watched her disappear from sight.
The flush of anger on his face began to fade soon after. Exhaling deeply, wiping his face with the back of his hand, wiping the sweat that had formed due to his anger.
"Stupid woman and that pathetic sense of loyalty" he muttered under his breath, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. Turning his attention back to the room, he glanced at the empty space she had left behind.
’She would never give in so easily, but it’s too late now’
He shifted his gaze to the place where Tia had been working, after scrounging around for a while, he found where she had placed the completed pills. He moved slowly, deliberately, as though savoring the final steps of his plan coming into fruition.
Finding the small box where Tia had stored the pills, he lifted it with a smug grin spreading across his face.
"Why did I even bother talking to her?" he mused to himself, his fingers tracing the edges of the box.
"I should’ve done this from the start"
He opened the box, inspecting the pills inside with a satisfied chuckle before taking out he pill he had shown Tia. The pill was a bit similar to a few pills inside the box but there were a variety of pills inside the box.
"The only thing that matter is the result"
A wave of disdain washed over him as he thought of Tia’s refusal, and of her grandmother the old woman who had always held onto those ridiculous, outdated traditions.
’Marriage’, Julius thought bitterly.
He gritted his teeth in annoyance as he thought of how tied down Tia and her grandmother were to their rigid rules.
"Stupid woman," he muttered again, shaking his head.
"If she wasn’t so obsessed with those foolish traditions, things could have been so much easier"

From what Rex saw, it was clear that the bond between Julius and Tia were that of not just friends but something more intimate, lovers. However, Rex could also see that the bond between them wasn’t strong and was shaky.
However, what he saw was limited and he couldn’t truly say for certain but from what he saw, Rex knew that the affection Julius had for Tia was not love but rather lust. The only reason Rex could think of him sticking around despite her old fashioned nature would be because of her beauty and talent.
However, the girl didn’t seem to realize the fact and remained love sick with the fatso. As for the case of her affection dropping for himself, Rex couldn’t help but smile lightly. It was because the girl felt that she shouldn’t get close nor think about other men while she already had someone.
Even for a girl like her, Rex was able to score above 50 at first due to his charm and good looks.
Rex’s thoughts turned to the Robertson family,
’The end of their rope is coming soon’
Regardless of the attempt at trying to poison him, it was already premeditated. Rex didn’t believe that the head of the Robertson family, the patriarch, was behind this attempt.
Rex and Ayana both arrived back at the mansion after the brief trip. They both sat at the small dining table. As they ate, Rex absentmindedly reached for the remote control on the table and switched on the television. The screen flickered to life, showing the latest news broadcast. Rex was about to change the channel when a headline caught his attention:
"New Wine Released by Levantes Restaurants, affordable Yet High Quality"
The news report went on to explain that his wine, which had recently been released, had been featured in multiple restaurants, most notably those owned by his mother, Isabella. The wine had been praised for its quality, receiving positive reviews for its taste and smoothness, but what stood out most was its pricing it was much more affordable than similar wines from competitors.
Rex had released in his brand and in his restaurants that were given by his mother in her county but Levantes were still Levantes, the name still sparked more than his own. Rex didn’t mind. What he needed now was money not fame.
Rex leaned back in his chair, his expression thoughtful.
"I’ll go into closed-door cultivation"
"In the meantime, if there’s any important news or updates, let me know as soon as I’m out."
Ayana’s gaze became concerned but she still nodded.
"Of course, Master"
"I’ll make sure to keep you informed"

nside a dimly lit room designed for cultivation and training, Rex sat in a cross-legged position, his back straight. The room, filled with various cultivation tools, materials, and resources.
Before him, laid out neatly on the floor, were several items, a box containing the pills he had obtained from Tia, alongside other cultivation resources that he had prepared.
Rocks, materials, and other resources needed for his breakthrough was lined in a circle, sat around him.
"Everything is ready," he murmured, his voice steady as he surveyed the items.
"Let’s break through"
He reached for the first pill in the box. With no hesitation, Rex popped the pill into his mouth, swallowing it.
As soon as the pill dissolved inside him, he could feel its effects his body warmed as the energy began to circulate through his system.
One by one, Rex took each pill from the box. The energy from the pills flowed through him, filling his body with an intense heat and pressure.
He closed his eyes, entering a meditative state as he focused on controlling the influx of power, allowing it to refine his internal organs, muscles, and bones.
"This is the last one," he said softly to himself, holding the final pill in his hand.
He swallowed the last pill and immediately felt its power surge through him. The moment the pill dissolved, the power within it seemed to ignite, spreading like wildfire through his veins.
His whole body began to tingle, and an overwhelming sensation of heat pulsed through him. Rex’s expression remained neutral as he closed his eyes, concentrating on the energy building inside him.
His body responded instinctively, pulling in energy from the resources that surrounded him. The rocks and materials on the ground seemed to vibrate with life, releasing their own innate energy, which flowed directly into Rex’s body. The raw force from the pills mixed with the resources, creating a harmonious synergy as Rex’s body refining realm reached its peak.
His skin began to shed, like the shedding of an old skin, like a snake who was shedding its skin. A golden glow started to emanate from the shed parts of his body and as more skin shed itself, the light became brighter and brighter, until the entire room seemed to be bathed in a radiant light. The golden light shimmered around him, wrapping his body in a halo of brilliance.
Rex’s eyes opened and they were also golden as if they were two golden balls however, his consciousness didn’t seem to be present.
