Chapter 231: Chapter 99: The Explosive Way to Help Farmers! Why is the map of Yan Country longer than a shroud? [Additional update for Qianxun Alliance_2]

But after returning to the town, he didn’t know what he could do; he felt out of place in this town.

As his affection grew, his cold demeanor towards the player gradually disappeared.

He began to open up to the player more, confessing his love for his wife and the deep affection he had for his son.

He hoped the player would replace him and become good friends with his son.

Because he felt that the player might understand his son better than he did.

Lively and cheerful Emily was also a member of Stardew Valley Town, as her parents were off traveling.

She could only earn a living by working at Stardew Valley Tavern.

But this upbeat girl never thought there was anything wrong with that.

As the player’s relationship with her developed over time.

She slowly opened her heart to the player, revealing sides of herself that no one knew.

She loved to dance, but her dance moves were lacking.

She was too shy to show them off, but after demonstrating them to the player in secret, she regained her confidence.

If the player chose to marry her.

After the wedding, she would move into the player’s farmhouse.

And every morning, she would water and fertilize the fields, fix the fences.

She would also give the player some quirky little props every day.

And even tailor a set of clothes for the player with her own hands.

Although the graphics are pixelated, the love for you can’t be hidden.

Penny, as a member of Stardew Valley Town, had a very different personality from Emily.

She was quiet, shy, and modest; while her mother Pam was carousing in the tavern.

She would sit alone in silence in what she had to call home—a trailer.

Exhausted from laboring in the dark, stuffy room.

In her spare time, she would take a book under the shade of a tree and slowly read.

As the player’s affection with her increased.

They would discover that Penny also had an inferior side.

She worried that the player would find out she lived in a dirty, messy trailer and would despise her for it.

So every night when she went home, she was always looking around nervously, afraid of being discovered by the player.

What amazed Nu Liu and her streaming audience more was.

If the player followed her too closely, she would act like a real person with her own thoughts, aware that someone was following her and would circle around the trailer, hesitating and unwilling to go home.

As for Penny’s mother, Pam, she was not just left by the designer with a stereotype of ’drinking’ and ’laziness’.

This lady was once the bus driver from Stardew Valley Town to the desert town, but one day, when the bus broke down and she lost her job, she became downcast and taciturn.

The inarticulate Pam chose to vent her emotions through drinking.

Until the player repaired the bus to the desert town.

Pam then got back on the job with her license, quit her bad habit of drinking for the sake of driving, and became abstinent.

And she would drive the player to the desert town reliably seven days a week, rain or shine.

Of course, not everyone is flawless.

Lewis, the mayor of Stardew Valley Town, appeared to be fair and upright on the surface.

But privately, he would secretly meet with the town’s ranch manager Marnie.

If the player was observant enough, they might even stumble upon a quest filled with wicked humor, "The Mayor’s Shorts."

The mayor asserted that he was missing a pair of underpants he was very fond of and asked the player if they had seen any trace of them.

And he tasked the player to let him know if they found them.

So, the player would find a pair of ’big purple underpants’ exactly as Lewis described them, lying in Marnie’s bedroom at her farmstead.

It’s not hard to imagine what unspeakable events must have taken place in that room.

However, since the mayor and Marnie are both single, willing participants, like firewood to a passionate flame.

There are no moral issues involved.

And it is these imperfections that seem less than saintly which actually give a sense of reality to these NPCs.

They too have their quirks and hidden sides that are not known to others.

Even if the player does not wish to interact with NPCs, to fall in love or marry and have children in the game.

You can still participate in the quarterly Stardew Valley events, where the town’s residents are always waiting for you with open arms.

You can showcase your best crops at the town square during the Harvest Festival.

You can also take on the exciting Ice Fishing Challenge with the local fishing expert.

You might join the colorful Jellyfish Festival and watch the translucent, shimmering jellyfish dance across the moonlit sea.

During Easter, you can put aside the farmer’s role and laugh with the kids as you compete for Easter eggs.

At the Flower Dance festival, it’s the perfect occasion for an innocent, sweet date with the girl/boy you fancy.

And there’s the Spirit’s Eve, the Luau, the Night Market, and a series of other events waiting for you to join in.

These festivals will also grant you corresponding participation rewards, and some events might even provide the game’s most valuable stamina limit increases upon winning.

Finally, at the end of winter.

The town of Stardew Valley will hold the last festival of the year, the Festival of Ice and Stars.

During this dreamy and wonderful festival, the hardworking residents of the town will gather around the bonfire to dance and make wishes for the coming year.

Eating soft, warm delicious food and drinking stomach-warming thick mushroom soup.

And as the flames reflect on everyone’s happy, flushed faces.
