Chapter 104: Tregedy Occurred

Chapter 104: Tregedy Occurred

The sun had dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the university campus. Aamir and his friends stood at the edge of the courtyard, eyes fixed on Haider Ali, who was speaking to a group of instructors in low tones. The atmosphere was tense — the recent assassination attempt had shaken everyone, and the looming threat of war had only added to the pressure.

As the rest of the students were escorted back to their dorms under strict supervision, Aamir stayed behind. His heart pounded with purpose as he approached Haider Ali.

"Sir," Aamir called out, his voice steady.

Haider Ali didn’t even turn. "No," he said firmly, as though he already knew what Aamir was going to ask.

"But sir," Aamir persisted, stepping closer, "I want to fight. This isn’t just any battle — it’s for our country’s pride. I’ve already been attacked twice. I didn’t mind then. But this time... they attacked my friends too."

Haider Ali’s eyes narrowed. "This is not your fight."

A voice rang out behind them.

"It is now, sir," Seenu said, stepping forward beside Aamir. His tone was sharp, resolute. "They tried to kill students just to humiliate our country."

Kunal crossed his arms, his expression unreadable. "I don’t like those people. I’ll help Aamir and Seenu."

Raj grinned faintly. "Count me in too, sir. No way I’m sitting this out."

Riya nodded with determination. "Yes, sir. Please let us fight. We’re not just students anymore."

From the side, Professor Kaveri Mahadevan, who had been quietly observing the confrontation, stepped closer. "Haider, give them a chance," she said calmly. "They’re stronger than you think. They might just surprise you."

Haider looked conflicted. "They’re just kids, Kaveri. I can’t send them to war like this..."

"But we’re your students," Aamir interrupted, locking eyes with him. "You know us better than anyone. You trained us. We’re ready."

Haider Ali exhaled deeply. There was a long pause, the kind that carried the weight of countless unspoken thoughts.

"Fine," he finally said. "But the moment it looks like you can’t handle it... you’re out. No questions asked."

"Yes, sir," Aamir responded without hesitation.

With their path clear, Aamir and his friends turned and walked out of the campus gates, the air heavy with resolve. Their steps were steady, their hearts burning with purpose.

They were no longer just students.

They were warriors stepping into a war that would shape their future — and the fate of their nation.

Aamir turned to his friends and said, "Let’s meet tomorrow in the private training room."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

After that, they all returned to their dorms. Raj, Aamir, and Kunal headed to the boys’ quarters, while Riya and Meera took Ji-Won with them to the girls’ dorm. Seenu quietly made his way to his own room.

The next day, just as planned, Aamir and his friends gathered in the private training room.

Meanwhile...

The skies over Calonia were heavy with tension as Queen Ivanka finally returned to her kingdom. As her carriage came to a stop outside the royal courtyard, a man clad in a deep black cloak approached and bowed.

"My lady, are you ready to proceed?"

Ivanka gave a slow nod. "Yes. It’s time."

Without another word, a group of cloaked mages and elite guards followed her carriage as they traveled beyond the borders of Calonia, toward a mountainous region near the direction of Aryavrata.

Eventually, they reached a cave hidden deep in the cliffs — ancient and untouched for centuries.

The entrance shimmered with faint enchantments, and as Ivanka stepped inside, her expression turned grim. The path narrowed, grew darker, then opened into a massive underground chamber. At the center of the cavern lay a round stone platform, covered in glowing runes and ancient inscriptions that pulsed with energy.

This was the source of her terrifying power.

She whispered to herself, "This is where it began... and where it must continue."

Turning to her mages, she said coldly, "Break the seal. If we unseal him, he’ll serve. He’s weaker than he was in his prime, and I’ll bind him with a spell. He won’t be able to hurt anyone unless I allow it."

The six mages formed a circle around the platform, each one beginning to chant. Magical circles formed in the air, glowing with violet and crimson energy. The platform trembled.

Suddenly—

BOOM!

An enormous shockwave erupted from the center. The enchantments exploded, flinging all six mages across the chamber like rag dolls. Their bodies hit the walls with sickening thuds — unconscious or dead.

Ivanka was hurled backward, slamming into the stone with a gasp, her eyes wide with disbelief.

A crack appeared on the platform.

And far, far away—

An Island of Danovia...

In the middle of the Danovian Sea, a small island under Danovia’s rule buzzed with life. Children played in the streets. Shopkeepers arranged their wares. It was a peaceful morning—until it wasn’t.

At exactly 10:03 AM, the sea began to rise unnaturally. Huge waves started forming along the shore. People froze in confusion.

Then, the ground shook violently. Alarms blared, and emergency announcements rang out:

"Citizens of the island, do not panic! An earthquake has been detected! Please evacuate to open spaces or shelter under hard surfaces!"

The tremors stopped as suddenly as they began. People sighed in relief.

A child, no older than ten, ran back toward the beach to retrieve a ball.

That’s when he saw it.

A massive mouth, wide enough to swallow the entire island, emerged from the ocean depths. Its jagged fangs glistened under the sunlight, casting monstrous shadows across the city.

Screams erupted—

But it was too late.

In a blink, the jaw closed, and the entire island vanished beneath the ocean — erased from existence.

Not a single trace remained.

Inside the Private Training Room

Aamir and his friends trained intensely, their minds focused on sharpening their abilities, unaware of the storm brewing outside. Each punch, spell, and clash of weapons echoed through the reinforced walls of the chamber, a momentary bubble of calm before the chaos to come.

Meanwhile, at the Guild Command Center...

Haider Ali sat at his desk, his eyes grim. Before him stood the leaders of Aryavrata’s six great guilds, the core strength of the nation.

"This is not the time for hesitation," Haider said firmly. "It’s time to take action."

He rose to his feet and continued, "I’ll personally lead the ground forces. Only our best warriors with the strongest abilities will march with me."

He then gestured to a document listing names. "My students, Aamir and Seenu, will each command a special squad under my formation. These are the team members they’ll lead—handpicked for precision and power."

No one objected. The weight of war demanded swift decisions.

Haider turned to the leader of the Vidya Shastra Guild. "You’ll command the aerial army—mages, archers, and long-range fighters. Keep our skies protected."

His gaze then shifted to the Chhaya Marg Guild. "You’ll manage the Shadow Warriors. Do not deploy them unless I give the order. They are our final card—only to be unleashed if the battle turns against us."

He looked toward Kaveri Mahadevan, leader of the nation’s most powerful mage circle.

"Kaveri, the mage division will be under your command. You know when and where their power will be most effective."

Next, he addressed the remaining guilds:

"Adhyatmik Vidya Guild and Manas Yodha Guild—your task is inner security. Ensure no enemy infiltrates Aryavrata’s heart. Guard every border, every gate."

"Suryavansh Guild—you’ll handle transportation. Evacuate the injured, deliver supplies, and keep our support lines strong."

Haider Ali’s voice grew colder.

"This isn’t just about pride anymore. It’s survival. Everyone, prepare your forces. The enemy is moving faster than we expected."

Back in the Private Training Room...

The gravity inside the chamber was set to fifty times the normal level, pressing down like an invisible mountain. Yet within this crushing pressure, Aamir and Seenu stood firm—locked in a fierce sparring match.

Their fists blurred, each punch sending shockwaves across the reinforced floor. Neither held back. Sweat dripped from their brows, but their focus was razor-sharp. Every blow exchanged was like thunder clashing with thunder.

Across the room, Riya sat cross-legged, surrounded by layers of glowing magic circles. She gritted her teeth, channeling more power into her evolving Magic Shield spell. The shield shimmered with intensity, growing thicker and more stable.

Kunal, unaffected by the gravity, stood calmly in a meditative stance, eyes closed and aura flickering like controlled fire. His body had long adapted to these extreme conditions.

Meanwhile, Raj and Meera struggled to keep their footing. Their legs trembled under the pressure, but their spirits remained unshaken. Step by step, they adjusted, refusing to fall behind the others.

Aamir ducked under a punch, spun, and struck Seenu’s side. Seenu absorbed it with a grin and countered with a devastating uppercut that Aamir barely dodged.

The training chamber was alive with energy—sweat, effort, power, and promise.

None of them knew what awaited beyond those walls.

But they trained like warriors who would soon be called to war.
