I Forged the Myth of the Ancient Overlords
Chapter 884 - 884 883. Ideal World

Chapter 884: 883. Ideal World Chapter 884: 883. Ideal World Lu Ban placed his hand on the hard shell as his flesh and blood slowly dissolved.

He discovered that the material had an extremely dense structure, the repulsion between molecules virtually gone, resulting in a kind of absolute sealed structure. Beneath such material, not to mention a steel plate, Earth itself could be pierced through.

To physically destroy this outer shell from the outside was truly difficult.

However, Lu Ban was no common man.

On the shell, illusory text emerged.

“Material from a Foreign Domain, the pinnacle of Octopus Man scientific technology, don’t bite with your teeth, you’ll chip a tooth.”

“Don’t get any grand ideas, this thing is far beyond your imagination.”

“Sadly, it can’t defend against spiritual attacks.”

“It makes for quite a nice mirror, reflecting your handsome appearance.”

Above these words, Lu Ban’s right hand materialized a silver pen named “Testament.”

After browsing these instructions for a while, Lu Ban began to write on it.

“To prevent people inside from being unable to get out, the developer left a backdoor.”

Then, he moved to the back of this “egg.”

His writhing flesh found a subtle entrance through a region there.

This entrance did not allow physical passage, but through it, one could interfere with the mental state of the people inside.

Lu Ban filled a portion of his flesh into that region and then closed his eyes.

Meanwhile, in Urukluqqa’s Mind Labyrinth, his thoughts were in hibernation.

Deep within the labyrinth, where no one could reach.

Urukluqqa saw the gray-haired old man progressing through the labyrinth, possessing a robust sanity, having breached several of the traps Urukluqqa had set.

Boom—

Another loud noise and Plato was locked inside an iron room.

The room’s walls were made of thick steel with no windows, seemingly impregnable.

Plato looked at a tentacle on the ground, aware that this was yet another trap.

“The defenses in the realm of consciousness are excellent, not from our world…”

Plato spoke, and his eyes shimmered with countless illusory symbols.

“It’s just a pity he does not understand the significance of the name I bear.”

Dividing one’s consciousness was indeed a good method to block Pollution, the price being only a portion of one’s Sanity, and for other kinds of spiritual attacks, such means could indeed protect the core consciousness from invasion.

But the world in Plato’s eyes, was not the false reality, but the true ideal world.

In the ideal world, the appearance of everything was stripped away, leaving only essence.

Like the tentacle in his hands, which was actually disguised as Urukluqqa’s consciousness, used to lure Plato into the trap, this was “the false Urukluqqa.”

Yet beneath the ideal world, where appearance is stripped, “the false Urukluqqa” was also Urukluqqa.

In other words, any avatar of Urukluqqa was essentially his true self.

If Urukluqqa had known the capability of Plato, he would likely have used something else to replace himself, or even entirely eliminate any information related to him.

However, it was already too late.

Plato tightened his grip, squeezing the writhing tentacle.

Deep within the labyrinth, Urukluqqa suddenly felt an excruciating pain.

The sensation as if tangible, pierced his being, astonishing the Octopus Man.

“He can actually harm me through things related to me?”

At the same time, the battle-hardened Octopus Man realized what was happening.

He immediately split his consciousness, utterly abandoning the part that Plato had Corroded.

“You split your soul, Sanity -1.”

The prompt from the System flashed across his view.

At this point, Urukluqqa could not afford to worry about anything else and made a decisive cut.

The tentacle in Plato’s hand immediately withered and turned to dust.

“Have you found it?”

He realized that his opponent indeed had a wealth of experience, able to determine the problem in an instant.

His gaze swept around, and Plato quickly found a path.

He took a step forward with ease.

In reality, Plato was still trapped in the Mind Labyrinth, but in the ideal world, there was nothing in his way because the Mind Labyrinth was just a false appearance; it did not actually exist.

Therefore, Plato only needed one step to walk beyond the barrier and enter the midst of the complex high walls.

“Now what’s next…”

Just as Plato was preparing to find a breakthrough, he suddenly saw a figure falling from the sky.

“Hm?”

He was about to attack but then realized it was a human, and one he had seen before.

“Are you… Mr. Lu Ban?”

Plato recognized the other person.

But at the same time, new confusion arose.

Because Lu Ban was wearing a neat suit, holding a golden pocket watch in his hand, and on his head were a pair of rabbit-like ears.

“Hello, Mr. Plato, I am Lu Ban.”

Lu Ban said seriously.

He quickly noticed his own ears in Plato’s gaze.

“This? I thought since we’ve entered the consciousness space, I should dress a bit more in line with the scene.”

Lu Ban said, and with that, he grabbed his rabbit ears and pulled them up.

The ears came off his head.

“See, they’re fake.”

“?”

Plato did not understand but was greatly shocked.

“Let’s put it simply, Mr. Plato, this guy is an enemy from Another World; he has polluted the rain, turning humans into those strange zombies and there are also mass destruction weapons; we have to deal with him quickly.”

Lu Ban briefly explained the situation.

Plato glanced at Lu Ban, wanting to confirm the truth of Lu Ban’s words through the ideal world, but before his gaze could shift, Lu Ban stopped him with his voice.

“Please wait, Mr. Plato, I suggest you don’t use your abilities on me. It’s for your own good.”

Hearing Lu Ban’s words, Plato quickly thought of the millions of avatars that had almost caused his sanity to collapse, and the smart man immediately connected them to Lu Ban.

The illusory symbols in Plato’s eyes disappeared.

“Good, we need to resolve him now.”

Lu Ban said with a smile.

“He has split his thoughts into several parts; I can use the ideal world to find his main consciousness.”

Plato said, and for some reason, this young man emitted an invisible oppressive presence, giving Plato the heavy weight of a mountain.

“Good idea.”

Lu Ban clapped his hands but then added,

“But I have another method.”

He raised his hand, gesturing to the intricate labyrinth and high walls.

“This is his heart space, correct?”

Upon hearing Lu Ban’s words, Plato hesitated then nodded.

“Then why don’t we blow up the entire place? Wouldn’t that solve most of the problems?”

“?”

Plato looked at Lu Ban, momentarily unsure who the dangerous foreign entity from Another World really was.
