I Forged the Myth of the Ancient Overlords
Chapter 469 - 469 468. Stowaway_1

Chapter 469: 468. Stowaway_1 Chapter 469: 468. Stowaway_1 It was already deep into the night in Jiangcheng, but the city was not asleep.

Most of the lights in the residential area were still on, and being situated near a university, it wasn’t unusual to see the lights in some buildings blazing until one or two in the morning, with many graduate students living off-campus, students renting on their own, and young people related to the university’s industries still active.

Moreover, the incident at the amusement park near Jiangcheng Mountain had captured global attention, with vehicles bustling through the streets, seemingly in a haste.

But inside Lu Ban’s home, the aroma of home-cooked meals filled the air.

Green beans fried with pork, steamed egg custard, spicy and sour shredded potatoes, and a pot of loofah soup – simple and homey.

Lu Ban, although he felt he had just eaten breakfast, still had a good appetite, and picked up his chopsticks to try a piece of the fried pork.

“Delicious.”

He commented.

“As long as it’s delicious.”

Feng Yu turned on the TV, where the live broadcast was reporting on the amusement park incident. Through the camera, the viewers could see the tourists being gradually rescued by search and rescue personnel. Some were emotionally distressed, some wore blank expressions, and others were visibly perplexed.

By comparison, core individuals like Lu Ban and Feng Yu eating at home seemed somewhat surreal.

Lu Ban wasn’t worried that those tourists would remember him, as he, being the one who had purchased the land use rights and established Abandoned Capital Town next door, naturally had reason to be at the amusement park.

After having a few bites of food, Lu Ban decided to ask Feng Yu a question.

“I need to go to the Foreign Domain to collect some user feedback next, do you know of any way I can cross into the Foreign Domain?”

A film’s audience is its user base, and their reactions are user feedback — no problem with that logic.

“Cross into the Foreign Domain?”

Feng Yu’s chopsticks paused momentarily, but soon reached for the spicy and sour potato shreds.

“If there’s no need to specify a time, just to cross over to the Foreign Domain at the present moment, then there’s no difficulty. I can help you with that.”

“That would be perfect.”

Lu Ban scooped some steamed egg with a communal spoon and mixed it into his rice.

“Which Foreign Domain do you want to cross to?”

Feng Yu asked again.

“Not sure yet, do you have any recommendations?”

Lu Ban pondered; he knew not to deceive his own people. Sending him to places like the Abandoned Capital could indirectly cause trouble for Cui Siter, so it was better to choose a Foreign Domain unrelated to him.

“Didn’t you encounter those people wrapped in bandages before? How about their Foreign Domain?”

Feng Yu suggested.

“Hmm? Why didn’t you recommend places like the Night Country or the Abandoned Capital first?”

Lu Ban was curious.

“Because the dominions of the Silent Lands governed by the Silence aren’t places that someone like me can traverse at will.”

Feng Yu immediately replied.

“To travel through these Foreign Domains, you first need the consent of the rulers of the Silent Lands. I’m sorry, but I am merely a stowaway. It wouldn’t be a problem if we were to go to other Foreign Domains though.”

“So, are there factions within these Foreign Domains?”

Lu Ban asked, curious.

“Of course, even in the Silent Lands, there are at least three rulers, and their goals differ. Hence, the tasks of the Chosen by Gods of the Silent Lands also vary,”

Feng Yu said matter-of-factly.

“If I have the chance, maybe I can show you some proof.”

“I’m looking forward to it.”

Lu Ban said flippantly, but in truth, he was quite eager.

Lu Ban had long been aware of the factions among these ancient overlords, the greatest existence, the Divine Beings. His suona connected to the divine, and the being from Aldebaran, opposed each other.

Through interactions with Chosen by Gods like the Bandaged People and others from different Foreign Domains, Lu Ban better understood how each Foreign Domain was affiliated with a different Divine Being, and how these Divine Beings used their powers to attack each other in search of benefits.

Regarding the mission in the Silent Lands, Lu Ban was quite clear on the next phase.

If the first phase was about exploring his own Foreign Domain, understanding the ecological situation and crises faced by various Foreign Domains, solving problems, and resisting invaders, then, without a doubt, the second phase would involve going to other Foreign Domains to stir up trouble.

For example, Lu Ban felt he might soon need to spread fear and Pollution in domains like the Misty City of Bandaged People.

Whether all these Foreign Domains housed vile creatures like the previous Bandaged People or if there were still Common people with conscience and kindness remained unclear to Lu Ban.

His empathy for places like the Night Country and the Abandoned Capital was solely because he knew Cui Siter and Shia, understanding most of the situation in these worlds, and because these people posed no threat to his own world.

But the Misty City was a different world altogether.

In fact, Lu Ban felt that in the Foreign Domains, some things might simply harm creatures of other domains just by existing.

“Which Foreign Domains, not part of the Silent Lands, can you take me to?”

Lu Ban then inquired, adding one more thing.

“Preferably those that are opposed to the Silent Lands.”

Foreign Domains such as those of Bandaged People, Four-eyed Kid, Little Fish Man, Lu Ban felt he could bring trouble to them without any psychological burden.

After all, they tried to Summon Evil Gods in his world; it’s only fair to retaliate.

“Misty City, the domain of Jeramaidians, also known as the Misty City people, this land is shrouded in thick, toxic mists all year round. All creatures are born from the mist, and the Misty City people are the apex predators within the food chain here. Their world consists mostly of mist creatures. The amount of mist a creature contains indicates its strength—the powerful consume the weak to grow stronger.”

“Deep Sea, the domain of Tide Summoners, the entire world consists of an ocean with no sky, no land. The Tide Summoners live underwater, building their massive cities. They were among the first to come into contact with creatures from other Foreign Domains. In the distant past, Tide Summoners invaded and waged war across different domains through the Divine Beings they worshiped, until their master fell into a deep sleep.”

“Dusk City. It is the domain inhabited by the creatures with four eyes you’ve seen. This domain is forever wrapped in twilight, which was caused by the fall of the Divine Being that once ruled this domain in battle. Since then, most creatures in this domain began to wither, age, die, but a creature called the Eye Demons survived. They can mimic any other creatures they encounter, and they are physically robust.”

Feng Yu continued, pausing for a moment.

“These three Foreign Domains should meet your requirements. You may choose one of them.”

After hearing this, Lu Ban felt that the Pollution in these three Foreign Domains was much more severe compared to his own, and moreover, domains like Deep Sea and Dusk City involved the Evil Gods themselves, indicating considerable danger.

Lu Ban found himself in a dilemma.
