Chapter 1074 - Chapter 1074 Chapter 444 Tang Immortal Sect The Wondrous Use
Chapter 1074: Chapter 444: Tang Immortal Sect, The Wondrous Use of Change Form_2 Chapter 1074: Chapter 444: Tang Immortal Sect, The Wondrous Use of Change Form_2 “The valley is nameless, and with the power of a True Immortal, even Immortal Sense sweeps through it without detecting anything unusual.”
“I suspect that this is why, over the years, even as Immortal Sects within the Bogu Immortal Vein changed and True Immortals emerged in succession, none have discovered the mysterious aspect of this valley.”
“However…”
“Enough, follow me down, and then you will understand.”
Li Zhengyang took a few steps forward, plunging into the valley below. As Han Yi’s thoughts stirred, a grey light appeared on the surface of his body.
Four Origins Tao Skills.
Following his ascension to the Realm of True Immortal, this Tao Skill, though it did not yet show the levels of Realm, had proven so formidable that Han Yi, in the Void Realm, had faced the siege of many True Immortals without it being shattered–only in the one hundred and first layer had it been broken by an adult Spirit God, wielding terrifying Divine Force.
Entering an unfamiliar place, he naturally prepared himself with the Four Origins Tao Skills as a precautionary measure.
All of a sudden, he realized something and turned his head to see Yang Jiu Huan extract a palm-sized purple Immortal Cauldron from her possession. She held the cauldron, from which flowed a stream of purple Dan Qi, exuding a spiritual elegance as it swirled around her.
Han Yi took a closer look at the Immortal Cauldron. Its style was simple and its aura of Immortal Path was so potent that it had reached the rank of a Second-stage Immortal Artifact.
He recalled the Three-legged Golden Fining Pot used by Li Zhengyang during their investigation of the Deep Red Thunder Field in the Immortal Spirit Realm.
The Immortal Cauldron Yang Yuhuan now deployed seemed to be of the same lineage as Li Zhengyang’s artifact from before.
Without dwelling on the thought, he turned his head again and was the first to descend, heading down towards the valley.
At a position one hundred meters above the valley floor, Han Yi’s heart stirred as if he had passed through a phenomenally thin Spirit Barrier. Had he not paid close attention on purpose, other True Immortals might truly have failed to notice it.
And having breached this nearly nonexistent Spirit Barrier, Han Yi’s heart trembled slightly.
An extremely faint yet mysterious aura permeated the entire valley; so weak that Han Yi might have failed to detect it had he not been deliberately searching.
This was the residual power of a trickle of Ancient Enlightenment Immortal Vine.
“In order not to let the Bogu Immortal Sect and other passing Immortals discover it, I didn’t set up any arrays here.”
“In fact, just as I expected, besides myself, no True Immortals have ever noticed this place.”
“Of course, even if a True Immortal stumbled upon this area, it’s unlikely they would be aware of the secret hidden within the valley unless they were intentionally looking for it.”
Li Zhengyang looked at Yang Jiu Huan and Han Yi, saying,
“I once used the Luanming Sky Cauldron to explore this valley, tracing the lingering scent of the Immortal Vine, but I couldn’t find its source.”
“Senior Sister, Han, please.”
Having finished speaking, Li Zhengyang’s expression turned solemn, his hand flipped, and in his palm appeared a Three-legged Golden Fining Pot–it was precisely the Immortal Artifact he had wielded in the Deep Red Thunder Field.
Immortal Power surged in his hands, and from an opening at the top of the Golden Cauldron, a light red smoke swirled out, ethereally transmuting into robes that fell upon Li Zhengyang.
Han Yi glanced at the artifact known as the ‘Luanming Sky Cauldron’, and with his discernment, he immediately concluded that this Immortal Artifact was a First-stage Immortal Artifact.
Indeed, that was to be expected: with the power of a True Immortal, one could wield both First-stage and Second-stage Immortal Artifacts, but for ordinary True Immortals, it was normal to use First-stage Immortal Artifacts, and only senior True Immortals had sufficient Immortal Power to utilize Second-stage Immortal Artifacts.
“Alright, this valley isn’t large, so let’s each take a look around. If anything is found, we’ll inform each other,” Han Yi suggested.
Li Zhengyang and Yang Jiu Huan nodded in agreement.
With the Green Reed Sword in hand, Han Yi walked towards the northeast side he had chosen, while Li Zhengyang headed to the southern side, and Yang Jiu Huan to the northwest.
The valley wasn’t very large.
Here, ‘not very large’ is relative to True Immortals. In terms of area alone, the valley could match an Immortal City in the Yu Heng World.
Midair, Han Yi did not activate the Formless Fire Pupil. After ascending to True Immortal, the Ancient God System played a very minor role in his combat power scheme. When fully activated, the Formless Fire Pupil was barely comparable to his True Immortal’s Pupil when stimulated by Immortal Power.
Beyond this, the other eight techniques of the Divine Fire Battle Body were also significantly weakened.
In essence, the Divine Skills could now only serve as auxiliary aids.
Unless, one day, he advanced from the Undying Realm to the Primordial Realm.
With focus collected and spirit receded, Han Yi’s true Immortal’s Pupil inspected his surroundings, where miasma held no secrets from him. However, beneath the miasma, there were no signs of any spatial fluctuations or the slightest clue of the Ancient Enlightenment Immortal Vine.
After an extensive search of six hours, having tried various methods and even extending his Immortal Sense deep underground for a hundred miles with no findings, Han Yi stopped, his gaze perplexed.
“No wonder Li Zhengyang has spent decades surveilling this valley.”
“On the surface, while there is a trace of Immortal Vine’s qi lingering, it’s incredibly faint, barely detectable through normal exploration.”
“Should all else fail, force might be the last resort to try.”
With a flash in his eyes, Han Yi resolved that if ultimately nothing was found, he would certainly try to lever the entire valley with his Immortal Sword, upending the world below to uncover the secrets of the valley.
But there was still time, and he first returned to the central part of the valley, touching base with Yang Jiu Huan and Li Zhengyang, who also found nothing.
Li Zhengyang added,
“I’ve inspected here for decades, turning over every inch of the ground, yet still coming up empty-handed.”
“However, I have a hypothesis: perhaps the Immortal Affinity I obtained here was a strand of Immortal Vine’s power. If we can draw out a second strand, we might be able to follow the vine to the deeply concealed Realm Heavens.”
