Chapter 337: Chapter 337: All of Him

The matter of establishing the school in Basket Village has been settled.

The village chief sent Julia Land and the others off happily.

Julia Land and her group returned to Capital City Town.

Joseph Wilson, eager to offset his previous mistakes, hurriedly made a phone call to contact Jack Munday, "Mr. Munday, my name is Wilson, I visited Basket Village a few months ago, about the matter of negotiating the contract price for the mountain land, I’d like to discuss it with you. Are you available?"

Upon hearing this, Jack Munday sat up straight away. He turned off the TV, "Good, I’m available."

Joseph Wilson asked, "I heard from the village chief that you’ve moved to the town. Where do you live? I will set a place for us to meet."

Jack Munday smiled, "I live in Fragrant Flower Gardens on Central Road Section 2 of the town."

Joseph Wilson sighed to himself, what a coincidence, "I am also staying in Fragrant Flower Gardens, Building 6, you?"

Jack Munday laughed, "Hahaha, then we are truly fated, I’m in Building 5."

"That’s great, if it’s convenient for you now, shall I come over to talk?" Joseph Wilson asked with a smile.

Jack Munday did not agree immediately since he still had Dale Land at home, but that wasn’t a big problem, he nodded, "Okay, 8th floor, room 801."

Both parties hung up the phone.

Jack Munday walked over to Dale Land, who was kneeling and scrubbing the floor, and he pinched her small arm to lift her up.

Dale Land was frightened by Jack Munday’s sudden action, tightly pursing her little mouth, not daring to utter a sound as she was lifted off the ground.

"Hazel Fields, where’s the rope? Bring it here quickly, we’re going to have a boss over to discuss business soon," Jack Munday called out towards the bedroom, his voice carrying impatience.

Hazel Fields, who was sleeping too soundly in the room, did not respond much.

Jack Munday walked into the bedroom carrying Dale Land. He walked over to the side of the bed and pushed Hazel Fields, "Wake up quickly! You’re sleeping like a dead pig!"

Hazel Fields, groggily woke up from being shouted at, seeing Jack Munday holding Dale Land standing by the bed, she suddenly became alert.

She sat up from the bed, "Why are you yelling so loud? You scared people."

"Stop talking nonsense, bring the rope quickly. Soon a boss will come over to talk about the contract for the mountain land. We can’t have this little girl causing trouble," Jack Munday said with a frown.

Dale Land’s arm hurt from being lifted, but she had learned to endure it silently without a peep.

Hazel Fields got out of bed, took a rope from the box, and handed it to Jack Munday, "Is it really about contracting the mountain land?"

"Yes, now go get me some tape," Jack Munday took the rope, tied Dale Land’s hands, then led her to a corner, and coldly warned, "Stay quietly here, don’t make any noise, understand?"

Hazel Fields handed the tape to Jack Munday, and he sealed Dale Land’s mouth shut.

He looked at Dale Land’s bumpy and deformed, monstrous face, and frowned.

He didn’t expect her to look so ugly after taking off the bandages.

At that moment, there was a knock at the door.

Jack Munday straightened his clothes, then went to open the door, while Hazel Fields also quickly changed her clothes and came out of the bedroom, remembering to close the bedroom door behind her.

Joseph Wilson and Ian Wilson stood at the door waiting for Jack Munday to open it, both holding a basket of fruit and a bouquet of flowers.

Jack Munday opened the door and saw they brought fruit and flowers, he welcomed them inside happily.

Joseph Wilson said politely, "Sorry to bother you."

Jack Munday shook his head, "No bother at all, please come in, both you bosses."

Hazel Fields came out of the bedroom, and upon seeing Joseph Wilson and his group, she happily went to pour water for them.

Joseph Wilson and Ian Wilson quickly exchanged glances, they already knew there would likely be a few people at Jack Munday’s home.

Hazel Fields took a bouquet of flowers somewhat embarrassed, while Jack Munday also received a bouquet in his hands.

Joseph Wilson chuckled, "Have a look at these flowers, they are fresh, beautiful, and fragrant. My brother and I plan to contract the mountain land to plant these flowers."

No sooner had he finished this sentence than Jack Munday and Hazel Fields, smelling the fragrance of the flowers, unwittingly both lost consciousness.

Joseph Wilson stood up and went to open the door.

James Thompson, hand in hand with Julia Land, walked into the house, followed by James Knight and the others.

The door of the house closed.

Julia Land’s eyes held a mixture of hope and nervousness.

Ian Wilson had already gone ahead to open the room’s door, seeking the little girl. He saw Jackson Munday wearing headphones, engrossed in a newly purchased game, easily dealing with a little boy.

Meanwhile, Joseph Wilson headed to another room.

James Thompson also pushed open a door.

When he saw the little girl with her hands and feet tied up and mouth sealed with tape, tears immediately started flowing.

Julia Land also saw her daughter, her heart nearly shattered into pieces.

Even though her daughter’s face was disfigured, she recognized her.

Julia’s tears flowed uncontrollably as she rushed over to untie Dale Land’s bonds.

James Thompson held Julia’s trembling hand, choking up as he softly said, "Let me do it."

Julia nodded, letting James untie the knots while she gently peeled the tape off her daughter’s mouth, "I’m sorry, I’m sorry, mommy has finally found you..."

Dale Land let out a loud cry.

James Thompson’s eyes were red, and he felt a deep-seated anger seeing his daughter like this.

Julia Land didn’t dare to hug Dale too tightly, afraid of hurting her.

James Thompson patted Julia’s shoulder, "Lil’ Pear, let me hold our daughter, we need to go to the hospital for a check-up first."

"Yes, yes, to the hospital!" Julia let James pick up their daughter while she, trembling from head to toe, stood up, overwhelmed with emotion.

Joseph Wilson and the others stood at the doorway, watching the scene, their mood equally heavy.

James Knight had already contacted the hospital. Although medical facilities here were not the best, they could, at least, carry out a basic check-up.

James Thompson carried Dale out of the room, with Julia Land clinging to his clothes tightly as she followed.

"Remember, after teaching them a lesson, call the police and arrange for a helicopter to wait." After the check-up, they needed to rush back to Capital City, where medical facilities were better.

James Thompson covered his daughter with clothes passed to him by James Knight and coldly stared at the unconscious Munday couple before leaving the Munday Family home.

James Knight immediately made a call to arrange for the helicopter.

The group quickly left Jack Munday’s house and headed to the nearest hospital.

On the way to the hospital, James Thompson made another call to the hospital director.

He wanted to personally oversee his daughter’s examination.

He didn’t want his daughter’s dark experiences to be dug up and reported.

Julia Land stroked her daughter continuously, touching her forehead, "We’re going home, baby, we’re going back home."

Dale Land, exhausted from crying, curled up in her mother’s arms.

Upon reaching the hospital, James Thompson used the medical equipment to quickly conduct a basic check-up for Dale.

Julia Land waited anxiously, her eyes filled with worry.

James Thompson checked every piece of data and result almost with teary eyes, as the saying goes that men do not easily shed tears.

Right now, he just wanted to cry.

There were several bruises and healed wounds on his daughter, "External injuries, malnutrition, and we need a psychologist. The most important thing is our daughter’s face, she’ll need long-term facial reconstruction. This is just a preliminary check-up; once we’re back in Capital City, we’ll go for blood tests."

Upon hearing this, Julia clung tightly to James, her sobs suppressed, letting out all the anxiety and unease she had held back for so long.

The helicopter flew in the blue sky.

Carrying their family towards the direction of home.

Julia Land held her daughter tenderly, and James Thompson extended a gentle, protective arm around his wife and daughter.

Thinking of Elijah Wolfe who he had locked away, his lips curled with a hint of coldness.

The two women in his arms were his everything.
