Chapter 332: Chapter 332: With the Ex-Girlfriend

Celeste Lewis was overjoyed upon hearing what Madame Bell had said.

Julia Land would definitely not be able to enter the Bell Clan.

Celeste looked at the doctor’s pregnancy test results, her face bursting with a happy smile.

She was pregnant.

Hearing Madame Bell’s complaints, she sweetly took Madame Bell’s arm, "Auntie, don’t be angry, the baby in my belly says he wants you to help him choose a name."

Madame Bell was tickled by Celeste’s honeyed words and felt a surge of warmth in her heart; Celeste was indeed a good catch.

She gently patted Celeste’s hand and laughed, "You really are a little clever one. Naming is naturally something the parents should do."

Celeste shook her head, coquettishly saying, "No, I’m not good at naming, and the baby’s daddy is even worse. Auntie, please, I’m begging you."

Madame Bell looked at Celeste’s hopeful expression, her attitude softened and she spoke softly, "Alright, then I will help the baby choose a name."

Celeste smiled happily, gently swaying Madame Bell’s arm, "Thank you, Auntie, I knew you are the best, being able to marry Arthur and meeting you, I am truly fortunate."

Madame Bell smiled indulgently, "You, during your pregnancy you must take good care of yourself."

Celeste nodded, "I promise I will, Auntie."

Madame Bell was already considering what gift to give when the child was born.

She owned many properties and was planning to give a beachfront house directly to the little baby.

Madame Bell received a call from someone in her circle inquiring about it, but Julia Land had no idea.

It took Julia Land a great deal of effort to hand over all her work, and by the time she was done, it was already ten o’clock at night.

Stepping out of her office, the soft light shined upon her weary face.

Seeing James Thompson sitting on the sofa, she rubbed between her eyebrows and smiled, "Why didn’t you come in and call me?"

James got up, walked over to her, and seeing her tired face, he wrapped his arm around her waist, "I am willing to wait for you."

Julia smiled.

The two took the elevator down.

Michael Scott and the others didn’t follow to be third wheels.

The night breeze gently brushed against them, and James shielded Julia as she got into the car.

The street lights poured in through the car windows, and James, holding Julia in his arms, slowly relayed the messages he had received from his subordinates in Malaysia.

"Noah Quarter arrived by plane today and checked directly into the hotel. His meals are brought to his room by room service, and he hasn’t gone out again."

"Hmm," Julia said softly with her eyes closed, "I don’t want him to come back to the country, it’s better if he remains insane."

James understood what Julia meant; his eyes darkened as he spoke solemnly, "Alright."

Julia nodded slightly, confident that James would handle everything well.

She lowered the car window.

The night breeze caressed her face as she leaned against James, her voice with a touch of hoarseness, "Last night, I dreamt of our daughter, she was crying."

Crying and calling for mommy.

James tightened his hold on Julia and took out his phone to send a message to his subordinate in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, in a Malaysian hotel.

Noah Quarter was on the phone with Maya Chant.

The room’s lights were dim as Noah stood by the window, gazing at the night view outside.

Maya on the other end of the phone said, "Noah, the person I’m sending will pick you up tomorrow, and I’ve also arranged for false information to be passed to Julia Land, they will be too busy looking for their daughter to pay attention to you."

Noah responded with a faint smile, "Grandma, I understand."

His voice was calm, but his eyes shone with a hint of excitement and anticipation.

Everything was going smoothly; he would soon make a comeback, and he had no regrets about his years of laying low.

After hanging up the phone, Noah put down his mobile phone, knowing he would soon stand tall again.

In the middle of the night.

It’s the time when everyone falls into deep sleep.

The room inside the hotel was very quiet.

The door lock moved, making a faint clicking sound.

The door slowly opened.

Two figures entered the room silently, their outlines completely invisible in the darkness.

They moved cautiously, their steps slow, like ghosts in the night.

They slowly approached the bedside.

Noah Quarter was completely unaware.

They quickly took the unconscious Noah Quarter away.

The next day, the sun rose, and the weather was clear.

In the last room of the XinXin Mental Hospital, a madwoman was locked away.

This room had not seen sunlight all year long, and a dim light bulb was on inside.

The door to the ward opened, and a man was supported as he entered; they bound the man to the hospital bed.

The madwoman first screamed in fright upon seeing someone enter, and then curled up, cursing loudly.

The people who had supported the man into the room left the ward.

The ward door was closed again.

The madwoman tilted her head, biting her fingers as she approached the bed, staring at the man on it.

When Noah Quarter woke up, the first thing he saw was a face approaching him, and he jerked away sharply, only to realize he was bound to the bed, "Who!"

The madwoman leapt up, startled by his sudden shout, "Aaaaah!"

Noah Quarter now saw the madwoman’s face clearly.

"Arabella Shaw! It’s you..."

Noah Quarter froze, becoming aware of his predicament; he was tied to the bed, unable to move.

"Hahaha!" He laughed loudly, his eyes bloodshot, "James Thompson! James Thompson!"

Arabella Shaw, hearing Noah Quarter’s laughter, suddenly went mad, screaming and rushing to the bed, hitting Noah Quarter frantically.

Noah Quarter kept laughing.

He laughed, his laughter filled with both hate and tears.

Great, he could finally continue his intimate relationship with his ex-girlfriend for the rest of his life!

Arabella Shaw scratched Noah Quarter’s face.

Blood streamed down his face.

But he still managed to smile with a cold smirk.

At this moment, in the study of the Thompson Family’s old house, Maya Chant sat by the window, sunlight streaming through and falling on her stern face.

She frowned, her mind restlessly uneasy, feeling as if something bad was about to happen.

Suddenly, her cellphone rang, breaking the silence in the study.

Maya Chant quickly looked at the caller ID and answered the call.

The person on the other end spoke in a hushed tone, "Madam, the person you asked us to pick up didn’t show up; he didn’t come."

Maya felt even more uneasy, "Go check the hotel."

"We’ve already checked the hotel, there was nobody there."

Maya staggered upon hearing this, bracing herself on the table, her heart racing, her thoughts whirling at high speed, "Check the hotel’s surveillance immediately."

The person on the line said quietly, "The hotel’s surveillance system malfunctioned last night."

Maya hung up the phone.

She suspected that something had happened to her grandson.

"James Thompson! Julia Land!"

She nearly gnashed her teeth as she uttered these two names.
