Chapter 305: Chapter 305: She Squats on the Ground Eating

"Mom, do you know? Julia Land is so foolish, she actually gave up all the inheritance rights to the Bell family."

Celeste Lewis left the Bell family and returned home, unable to help but happily share with her mother.

Her mother was also shocked, but then she said with a smile on her face, "That’s good, later on we can find a way to have Madame Bell hand over everything of the Bell family to you and Arthur, as long as their mother and daughter do not get along, we won’t need to do anything extra."

She was worried about her daughter not being prudent enough, which might mess things up, so she cautioned, "You just need to accompany Madame Bell from time to time, no need to do anything else."

Celeste Lewis nodded, and assured seriously, "Mom, I understand."

She decided that whenever she was free, she would go and accompany Madame Bell!

Julia Land gave up the Bell family’s inheritance rights, and Celeste Lewis was happy, but Mrs. Munday was worried.

When Mrs. Munday returned to the Bell family, she heard from her daughter about Julia Land giving up the rights.

While sighing inwardly, she could only ask her daughter to put more effort into improving her relationship with Julia Land.

Seeing her daughter with a displeased expression, Mrs. Munday sat on the sofa and said earnestly to Lyra Gunn, "Lyra, you need to sincerely treat Julia, otherwise, she really won’t return to the Bell family. Put in more effort, care for her more, and take it slow."

Madame Bell nodded, "I got it."

In order not to let her husband down, she tried her best to ease the relationship with Julia Land.

Julia Land returned to her company from the lawyer’s office, and was busy straight until six o’clock.

Just as she was massaging her slightly stiff neck, her cellphone rang.

She picked up the phone to see the incoming call was from Orly, and she hastily answered it.

Sophia Hart’s voice came from the other end of the phone, carrying a trace of urgency and tension.

Standing inside a pavilion, she turned to look at the heavy rain outside, "Julia, you might not be able to contact me for a while, I’ll call you after I’ve settled down."

Julia Land frowned slightly, feeling somewhat uneasy, "What happened? Where are you right now?"

Sophia Hart, aware that time was pressing, didn’t explain much, "Julia, don’t worry, I’m fine, I’ve left Andrew Benson, I’m safe, you and Brother Thompson don’t need to come find me. I’ll hang up now."

As soon as she finished speaking, Sophia Hart hung up the phone.

Holding her phone, Julia Land felt a bit puzzled and worried.

She didn’t know exactly what had happened to Sophia Hart.

She shut down her computer, quickly packed up her things, and left the office.

She decided to go home and talk to James Thompson about Sophia Hart’s situation.

As soon as Julia Land got home, seeing her with a serious look, James Thompson came over and took her handbag, "What happened?"

Julia Land shared the recent phone conversation with Sophia Hart with James Thompson.

She said worriedly, "I don’t know what happened between Sophia and Andrew Benson?"

After listening, James Thompson’s brow furrowed tightly, realising something might have happened.

"She asked us not to look for her for now, she should be able to handle it herself. I’ll send someone to check if anything happened with Andrew Benson."

James Thompson said calmly, and then pulled out his phone to dial a number, "Check what has happened recently with Andrew Benson, the sooner the better."

After giving his orders, he hung up the phone, seeing Julia Land’s face showing fatigue, her palm massaging her neck, he knew she had a tiring day.

"Have you had dinner?" he asked.

"No."

James Thompson sent a message to someone to deliver a vegetarian meal.

The two went upstairs to their room, and James Thompson walked into the bathroom and started filling the bathtub with warm water.

Julia Land entered the bathroom holding a bathrobe, she placed the bathrobe down and took off her clothes.

The bathroom light softly shone on her body, highlighting her graceful contours.

She quickly showered, gently twisted her neck, the soreness making her involuntarily frown.

She stepped into the bathtub and settled into the warm water, feeling the temperature of the water.

Julia Land looked up to admire Mr. Thompson taking a shower.

Fair and square admiration.

James Thompson quickly showered, grabbed a bottle of massage oil, and stepped into the bathtub.

He was tall and statuesque, his long legs sitting in the tub made the otherwise spacious bathtub feel crowded.

"Little Pear, turn around, I’ll massage your shoulders for you."

Julia dutifully turned around, laying on the edge of the bathtub, her back facing James.

James’s palms slowly pressed on her shoulders, his fingertips gently pressing on her skin.

His movements were neither too harsh nor too light, the pressure from his palms was just right.

Julia felt very comfortable.

He bent down and gently asked in her ear, "How does it feel? Is the pressure okay?"

Julia’s voice carried a hint of satisfaction, her body felt very pleased, "Mhm, it’s good, very comfortable."

Seeing her lazy appearance, James laughed a little, continued massaging her shoulders and back until her bath time was nearly done, then he lifted her out.

Julia went to wash her hair, while Mr. Thompson casually draped a robe over himself, and while tying the robe, left the bathroom.

He went downstairs.

As Julia came downstairs, she heard James talking on the phone with someone else.

She picked up a bottle of wine, poured herself a glass thinking that drinking some might help her sleep at night.

Seeing Julia pouring wine, he got an empty glass and placed it in front of her.

Julia smilingly poured him half a glass too.

Speaking into the phone, James said to Officer Zhang, "Officer Zhang, thank you, as long as there’s any news, I’ll send someone to check."

Officer Zhang on the phone said, "Mr. Thompson, we will do our best to find her."

Julia lowered her eyes to hide the faint sorrow, she picked up the glass of wine and was about to sip lightly when James stopped her.

After finishing the conversation with Officer Zhang, he hung up, reached out, and held Julia’s hand, "You have to eat dinner before you can drink."

"Oh." Julia left the bar and went to the dining room.

James, holding a glass of wine, followed Julia to the dining room.

He had already eaten dinner; now, he was sitting there keeping Julia company while she ate.

He waited for her to finish, tidying her hair with his long fingers before slowly starting, "Little Pear, we will find our daughter."

The parents who lost their child, what they think about the most each day is that the child will be found.

Julia hummed in response, nodded, "We will find her."

After dinner, James didn’t stop Julia from having a bit of wine; otherwise, she might wake up startled again all night.

At that moment, in a small mountain village, at the Munday Family.

Dale Land accidentally knocked over the bowl in her hand.

The white rice from the bowl fell to the ground.

Mrs. Munday angrily put down her bowl and chopsticks, she slapped Dale Land, "Pick it up and eat it, or you’ll go to bed hungry tonight! You can’t even hold a bowl steady."

Dale Land covered her painfully hit face, tears brimming in her eyes, she stifled her tears, squatting on the ground with tears held back and a small body, she reached out her little hands and picked up the white rice from the ground.

All she knew was that she was very hungry.

The white rice picked up dust from the ground.

She squatted on the ground eating it.

While the Munday family sat on chairs eating their meal.
