Goodbye, Ex-husband! I’m Pregnant with Your Uncle’s Child! -
Chapter 285 The Male Mistress
Chapter 285: Chapter 285 The Male Mistress
The voice came through the phone, "The wedding has just started, and we’ve arranged everything."
Andrew Benson squinted slightly, his eyes revealing a trace of coldness, "Good, continue with the plan as scheduled, and don’t make any mistakes."
The little boy sat obediently to one side, silently observing Andrew Benson’s every move.
After hanging up the phone, Andrew looked at the little boy, his eyes softening, "Son, do you know what to do when you see Mommy in a bit?"
The little boy nodded vigorously, smiling, "Daddy, I know."
Andrew revealed a satisfied smile; the child was indeed clever.
The car arrived at the wedding venue of Sophia Hart and Blake Lincoln.
He opened the car door himself, and after the little boy also got out, father and son, hand in hand, walked into the wedding venue.
The man was dressed in a suit, as was the little boy, they looked very much alike.
At that moment, at the wedding venue.
Blake Lincoln and Sophia stood on the stage, receiving words from the marriage officiant.
Suddenly, the projection screen on the stage lit up, showing a high-definition video of a man and a woman in intimate embrace.
The male lead in the video was none other than the groom standing on the stage, Blake Lincoln; the female lead was unfamiliar.
The guests were instantly in an uproar, causing momentary chaos.
The faces of the Lincoln family turned ashen.
Mr. Lincoln hurriedly called for someone to turn off the projector, but the awkward atmosphere could no longer be recovered.
Blake stood awkwardly on stage, his complexion terrible, his forehead breaking out in a cold sweat.
Who was trying to ruin him?
Sophia frowned; she wasn’t angry so much as worried about who could be behind this sabotage.
Thinking it might be Andrew Benson, Sophia felt like crying.
She shouldn’t scare herself; it couldn’t be him.
James Thompson, at the exact moment the high-definition video appeared, had gone pale and immediately turned Julia Land’s wheelchair around.
The back of the wheelchair faced the screen, and they could only hear the sounds of the man and woman’s collision.
The woman’s comfortable cries sounded somewhat fake.
Julia... actually wanted to take a look.
It was just a pity that James moved so quickly.
The projector was turned off.
The venue fell into awkward silence for a few seconds.
Sophia smiled and asked the officiant to continue.
Regardless, the wedding had to go on.
After hearing Sophia encouraging the continuation, Blake, too, thick-skinnedly calmed himself.
It was just a video, after all.
Everyone already knew of his profligate ways.
When Andrew saw that the wedding was preparing to proceed, he walked into the venue with the little boy, smiling lightly.
The moment Sophia spotted Andrew Benson slowly walking in, she turned pale as if she had seen a ghost.
Her heart was thrown into utter chaos.
Why had he come to Capital City?! Was he not supposed to be in Inkwell City? Could it have been that something had slipped on his mother’s end?
Numerous questions arose.
The guests also noticed the arrival of Andrew and the little boy.
At first, they thought they were relatives or friends of the Lincoln family, but as this father and son headed toward the stage, everyone realized something was amiss.
Andrew released the little boy’s hand, gently touched his head with tenderness in his eyes, "Child, go on."
The little boy nodded and walked up the stage with his short legs. He approached Sophia, hugged her legs, lifted his head, his eyes brimming with tears, his voice carrying endless grievance and anticipation, "Mommy! Don’t you want Lavinia anymore?"
"!?!?"
The moment Julia and James saw Andrew appear, they knew that the wedding was probably not going to proceed smoothly.
The two of them watched the little boy on the stage in shock, their faces full of question marks.
Blake, set to become a stepfather, looked at Sophia in disbelief, "You have a child?!"
Sophia, who was nearly knocked off her feet, replied, "He’s not my child."
She hadn’t given birth to any children!
The little boy, with tear-filled eyes, looked up at Sophia, "Mommy, why are you marrying this uncle? Daddy said that we all have to be together, was Lavinia not good?"
Sophia looked at the crying little boy, then at Andrew standing below the stage, and pursed her red lips; this situation was hard to handle.
"I’m not your mother." She frowned.
"Wuu wuu wuu wuu, but you are my mommy," the little boy’s crying grew even more pitiful.
Andrew Benson stepped onto the stage, standing next to Sophia Hart and the little boy, his voice gentle, "Lavinia, we are a family, we shouldn’t be separated, regardless of what happens, we should face it together. Do you want your child to grow up without a mother?"
Blake Lincoln’s father’s face turned a steely blue as he looked at the family of three on the stage. He had thought this would be an advantageous marriage alliance, but now it was simply embarrassing.
Sophia Hart guessed that Andrew Benson had intentionally brought a child to disrupt the wedding.
She took a deep breath, trying to remain calm, and said, "This child isn’t mine, sir. Please don’t disturb our wedding."
Andrew Benson smiled slightly, a trace of irony in his eyes, "Lavinia, this little one was born after ten months in your womb. Aren’t you breaking the child’s heart by saying this now?"
Sophia Hart held back her anger, "Andrew Benson, can you stop spouting nonsense?"
The little boy looked up, his eyes red as he gazed at Sophia Hart, "Mommy, do you really not want me anymore?"
The veins on Sophia Hart’s forehead throbbed.
It was frustrating knowing explanations would do no good.
She guessed everyone was now doubting that the child was hers.
**
The wedding was called off.
The Lincoln Family saw the guests out.
Blake Lincoln’s father and the rest of the Lincoln Family sat on the sofa of the resting room with difficult expressions on their faces.
Julia Land and James Thompson were also present, along with Sophia Hart, Andrew Benson, and the little boy.
Julia Land looked on at the fiasco, unable to believe that Andrew Benson had actually brought a child to ruin the wedding.
How ruthless.
Although Sophia Hart and Blake Lincoln had already picked up their marriage certificate, there was no telling what Andrew Benson might do next.
Sophia Hart explained to the Lincoln Family, "He’s just my ex-boyfriend, and the child really isn’t mine."
Andrew Benson added with a smile, "Right, he’s not a child we had together."
His interjection only made the Lincoln Family more doubtful.
Blake’s face darkened, he expected to be the butt of jokes for some time.
Blake’s father was also frowning and clearly dissatisfied.
James Thompson spoke up, a hint of indifference in his voice as he looked at Blake’s father, "The little boy is definitely not Sophia’s child. I’ll take care of the losses from this wedding. Since Blake and Sophia have already got their marriage certificate, if the Lincoln Family has no objections, we can maintain this marriage."
When James Thompson talked about taking responsibility, he undoubtedly meant offering a generous compensation to the Lincoln Family.
Andrew Benson chuckled, "No worries, I don’t mind being a male mistress. After all, Blake also has his flags flying high outside."
Everyone, "...."
It was the first time anyone had heard of a man wanting to be a male mistress.
Blake’s father quickly calculated the pros and cons, his voice stern as he looked at Andrew Benson’s attitude, "Sir, are you threatening the Lincoln Family? Sophia is now the Lincoln Family’s daughter-in-law."
Andrew Benjamin instantly lost his smile, his tone turning cold, "Allow me to introduce myself, my last name is Benson. Although I might not be able to do anything to the Lincoln Family, I will frequently visit Blake to ’exchange’ views."
His gaze lightly swept over Blake.
Blake, who had been fuming, felt a chill when he saw Andrew Benson’s cold eyes.
He shrank his neck.
He felt like crying.
He had not expected agreeing to an alliance marriage to end up so unlucky.
Just a few days ago, he was bragging to his buddies about how amazing he was to be marrying Sophia Hart.
Today, his image had been thoroughly shattered.
Sophia Hart stood up and apologized to the Lincoln Family, "I’m sorry for this, I didn’t handle it well. I need to talk with my ex-boyfriend first."
Since the incident had already occurred, Sophia Hart didn’t want to drag things out.
She was already legally married; it was a fact she had to face.
From feeling embarrassed and angry at the beginning, Blake’s father quickly managed to calm down.
For the Lincoln Family, this might not be such a bad turn of events.
He knew his son’s nature was unlikely to change; his affairs with women were bound to continue.
And it seemed like Sophia Hart was not the sort to make fusses over such matters, so maintaining the marriage was beneficial for the Lincoln Family.
However, the trouble was Mr. Benson. If he kept causing disturbances, things would be very troubling.
The Lincoln Family needed to discuss the events of the day.
The Lincoln Family left the resting room.
Julia Land gave Sophia Hart an encouraging glance, and James Thompson pushed Julia out the door.
Andrew Benson had his bodyguard take the little boy away.
Only Sophia Hart and Andrew Benson were left in the resting room.
Sophia Hart started, "Andrew Benson, I am already married to Blake. You disrupting further will only make things harder for everyone."
Andrew Benson leisurely unbuttoned the top of his shirt, his lips curling into a smile, "I didn’t come to make trouble; I clearly came to offer myself as a male mistress for the bedchamber."
