Madame Bell’s heart stirred when she got the results of the paternity test.

She looked at the results in astonishment; it confirmed a parent-child relationship between her and Miss Xia.

Her first instinct was to suspect someone had done this on purpose.

She had always trusted her husband’s ability.

Madame Bell took a deep breath.

She decided to meet Miss Xia; after the meeting, she would have her husband take a paternity test.

She picked up her phone and dialed Chloe Sullivan’s number.

The call connected quickly, and Chloe’s voice came through with a hint of joy, "Godmother?"

Madame Bell rubbed her temples, "Little Chloe, I want to meet Miss Xia. Do you have her contact information?"

Chloe’s lips curled into a smirk, a sense of pride bubbling up inside her, "Godmother, hold on. I’ll contact her for you."

After hanging up, Chloe’s face was all smiles, filled with satisfaction.

Just the thought of Julia Land finally being confirmed not to be the Bell couple’s daughter made her even happier.

That woman really did have a way.

Chloe immediately called Savannah Summers, dialing several times.

However, no one answered on the other end, which tightened Chloe’s brows and a sense of unease started to rise.

Why wasn’t Savannah answering her phone?

Chloe frowned. What’s going on? Where had Savannah gone?

With no other choice, Chloe called that woman back, her voice tinged with obvious urgency, "Can’t contact Savannah? What to do?"

A cold laugh came from the other end, "What are you panicking for? If she’s not seen, she’s not seen. So stupid. Here’s a photo for you to show to Madame Bell. You’ve always been good at lying. I trust you know what to say."

Chloe’s face darkened immediately, having been called stupid not once but twice, "Please speak nicely next time."

The woman on the other end paid no mind to Chloe’s discontent; she hung up and sent the photo to Chloe.

Chloe stared at the abruptly ended call, nearly fuming with anger.

Just then, she received the photo from the woman.

It was a picture of Savannah lying in front of a car, looking like she had been hit, and standing beside that car were Julia Land and James Thompson.

Chloe looked at the photo, not initially understanding the woman’s intention in sending it to her.

But after pondering for a while, she began to grasp how to use the picture.

"So that’s it!" Chloe muttered to herself.

She knew what to do!

Chloe collected her thoughts and picked up her phone to call Madame Bell.

"Godmother, I can’t reach Savannah. She seems to have disappeared."

Panic colored Chloe’s voice.

Could there really be some complicated hidden story?

Her brows furrowed, filled with doubts.

She decided to go home immediately and tell Connor Bell about this.

"Godmother, could something have happened to Miss Xia?" she asked worriedly.

"Let’s not panic, have someone look for her," Madame Bell said, though she wasn’t sure they could find her quickly; Capital City was populous, and finding someone could be troublesome.

Chloe was shrewd; she didn’t send the photo directly to Madame Bell, which could arouse Connor’s suspicions. Instead, she decided to send the photo to Madame Bell using an unknown cellphone number.

They ended the call.

Chloe went to her room, took out a new SIM card, and inserted it into her phone; this SIM card was acquired through unofficial means.

She composed a message and attached the photo of Savannah.

Madame Bell’s phone vibrated slightly. She picked it up to see a message from an unknown number.

Upon opening it, a jolt went through her.

There was also a photo that seemed to be of Savannah; Madame Bell, who looked at herself in the mirror daily, of course, recognized her own features.

Madame Bell arrived home to find Connor reviewing the guest list for an upcoming banquet.

Connor looked up to see Madame Bell with a look of concern and couldn’t help but ask, "What’s happened?"

Madame Bell gestured for the butler to leave the living room.

She handed Connor the paternity test report and the photo on her phone, "Husband, look at this girl. This is the paternity test result between her and me."

Connor took the report and the phone, first looking at the test results and then carefully examining the photo.

Seeing Julia and James Thompson also at the scene of the accident, Connor furrowed his brows, "Wife, what are you suspecting?"

"I just feel that, to be cautious, we should confirm the blood relation again. However, we can’t contact Miss Xia now and don’t know where she is," Madame Bell said worriedly.

Connor felt something was fishy, "Wife, how do you know this Miss Xia?"

"Little Chloe has been recruiting new servants, and Miss Xia happened to go there for a trial. Little Chloe found her appearance strange, so she took some hair for me to test."

Connor was suspicious, "You met her through Little Chloe?"

Madame Bell glared at Connor, "Are you doubting that Little Chloe would deceive me? Impossible. In this matter, we just need to contact Miss Xia and do another paternity test. The truth will come out."

Madame Bell smiled faintly and nodded, "I’ll call Julia to come home for dinner tonight."
