Chapter 204: Chapter 204: Mommy Hug

Madame Bell had just entered the restroom when she saw a woman scolding Eleanor Thompson.

"What are you doing!"

Madame Bell walked over angrily, feeling a surge of anger rise in her heart. Was this adult bullying a child?

She moved Eleanor Thompson behind her.

Madame Bell did not know Sophia Hart.

But Sophia Hart recognized Madame Bell because she had heard about the deep affection between the Bell couple. Out of curiosity, she had paid attention to the Bell family.

"Madame Bell, she pushed my child. Was I wrong to ask her to apologize?"

Sophia Hart gently touched Dale Land’s hair, reassuring her not to be afraid.

Madame Bell heard Sophia’s words and frowned in disbelief, "That’s impossible. My Eleanor is always well-behaved; she wouldn’t push someone without reason."

Madame Bell’s gaze revealed a hint of skepticism.

There were no cameras in the restroom.

Madame Bell glanced at the little girl Sophia was holding, who was facing away from her, not knowing who she was.

She knelt down and asked Eleanor, "Eleanor, can you tell Grandma what happened?"

Eleanor was also scared and started crying while holding onto Madame Bell, "Grandma, I’m scared."

"Don’t cry, don’t cry. Grandma is here, don’t cry," Madame Bell was also nervous.

Sophia Hart was also angry, feeling as if she were being made to look like the bully.

Julia Land had been waiting at her seat for a while, and seeing that Sophia Hart and Dale Land hadn’t returned, she got up to go look for them in the restroom.

Chloe Sullivan also decided to search the restroom as she hadn’t seen Madame Bell and Eleanor Thompson return.

Then she saw Julia Land passing through the hallway.

Julia Land came here for a meal too!

Julia and Chloe almost entered the restroom one after the other.

"Pear Sister!"

"Little Chloe!"

The first call was made by Sophia Hart.

The second was by Madame Bell.

As Julia entered, Dale Land turned around with a tearful face seeking a hug, having controlled her tears for so long. Seeing her mother, she burst into tears.

She reached out, "Mommy, hug."

Hearing her daughter cry, Julia’s heart tightened. She took Dale from Sophia’s arms and consoled her, "Dale, be nice, mommy’s here, let’s not cry."

Both children were crying in the restroom.

Madame Bell then realized that the little girl who had been facing away from her was Julia and James Thompson’s child.

Her expression turned sour immediately.

Chloe Sullivan also picked up Eleanor and comforted her.

Pearwill Restaurant’s manager arrived at the restroom first and courteously suggested they go to a private room to resolve the issue.

Julia didn’t want to cause trouble, she nodded, "Which room? Please lead the way, thank you."

They all headed to the private room.

Celeste Lewis had also witnessed everything in the restroom and curiously followed them into the room.

When Celeste entered, Madame Bell frowned slightly, thinking she was with Julia’s group, but didn’t speak up to send her away.

Contrarily, Julia thought Celeste was with Madame Bell’s group.

When the children’s crying had stopped, Sophia Hart clearly explained what had happened.

After listening, Julia checked her daughter’s palms, indeed they were scraped, and her heart ached immensely.

Just then, Madame Bell spoke softly, "It might also be possible that the kids were running and bumped into each other. Did you actually see Eleanor push her?"

Her tone was tinged with dissatisfaction and suspicion, which angered Julia.

Julia took a tissue from Sophia and gently wiped her little one’s nose, softly asking, "Dale, can you tell mommy what happened?"

"Mommy, that sister pushed Dale," Dale Land said, her big eyes red, gripping Julia’s clothing tightly.

Chloe instantly frowned and sternly asked Eleanor, "Eleanor, did you really push your sister?"

Eleanor, just stopping her tears, wanted to cry again under Chloe’s harsh scolding.

"Don’t cry!" Chloe instructed, "Eleanor, tell mommy why you pushed your sister? You know that’s wrong, right? If you did something wrong, you need to apologize."

She put Eleanor down, "Go and apologize to your sister."

Eleanor pouted, looked sorrowfully at Chloe, then at Dale.

Then she turned to her grandmother who could protect her, "Grandma..."

Madame Bell wanted to take Eleanor away.

Chloe shook her head, squatting down to Eleanor’s eye level, spoke softly, "Eleanor, no matter what, pushing is wrong. Go and apologize to your sister, okay?"

"Mommy, I didn’t push her; she bumped into me and fell," Eleanor said softly, her voice carrying a whining tone.

She nervously fidgeted with her dress.

"This..." Chloe stood up and looked at Julia, "Mrs. Moore, my daughter doesn’t lie."

She almost called Mrs. Moore to irritate them.

Julia snorted, "Your daughter doesn’t lie, so does that mean my daughter does?"

Chloe sighed calmly, "Let’s not dwell on this anymore. What do you think? It’s inevitable for kids to get hurt when they play together."

Julia looked down at her daughter’s injured hand and felt angry, but without evidence, her daughter could only suffer in silence.

Celeste Lewis had been gossiping the whole time and finally chirped up, "Well, I saw what happened, and actually it was...."

Julia and Chloe turned their attention towards Celeste.
