Chapter 1566: 1454, Su Yu, a Stellar Level creator?
As the leader of the rebel organization, both the Divine Lord and the Grand Duke had heard of Su Yu.
But hearing was one thing—they didn’t take Su Yu seriously and had no idea what he had accomplished.
Unlike them, Dark Thunder Dragon Marklim knew Su Yu all too well. Ever since Darak’s demise, it had started paying attention to this kid.
At this moment, Marklim quietly let out a sigh of relief.
Fortunately, Tagnia’s prophecy wasn’t wrong. Otherwise, the dragon losing its fate today wouldn’t have been Lailin but itself.
Then it looked at everyone solemnly and said, "As for this Su Yu, I heard of him as early as two and a half years ago. My clan dragon, Darak, a Planet-level Third Rank, fell unexpectedly on his home planet..."
Marklim summarized Su Yu’s major deeds in concise terms.
Listening to Marklim’s recounting, at the beginning, the attendees in the meeting room didn’t think much of it.
Selling the corpse of Dark Thunder Dragon Darak and taking part in a single security bounty hunt? What’s so noteworthy about that?
But as the story continued, everyone started feeling something was off.
Mastering a unique cultivation technique and suddenly advancing to Planet-level? Possessing the galaxy’s only usable Level-4 AI? Lailin couldn’t even rob him successfully?
Especially toward the end, even Intelligent Mimo showed a surprised expression.
He killed Planet-level Fifth Rank Jared with a single strike? He repaired the severe damage caused by this round’s city-level data module?
All of these—could one person really accomplish this?
...
After Marklim’s account, the room fell into a deafening silence.
Those unfamiliar with Su Yu now roughly understood what kind of person he was—in simple terms, he was someone who rose at lightning speed and could create miracles, and not just one or two, but a series of miraculous feats!
"This Su Yu..." The Grand Duke pondered, unsure of what to say.
"..." The Divine Lord also remained silent.
The others present were equally speechless.
The fact that the Fegg Hub had produced a being so defiant of logic (meant in the positive sense)—what could that even signify?
...
After a long pause, everyone finally began to recover from their shock.
The Divine Lord was the first to speak up: "I admit, this Su Yu’s deeds have shocked me... But upon closer thought, doesn’t anyone else find them suspicious?"
"Suspicious?" Marklim was taken aback. "Your Lordship, are you saying..."
"Hmm, they indeed seem a bit questionable." Intelligent Mimo chimed in, "This Su Yu just happens to have the galaxy’s sole usable Level-4 AI, and his cultivation technique, allowing him to momentarily drop from Eighth Rank and quickly recover to Planet-level, isn’t recorded in any of our databases. These two points are too bizarre."
"If something is out of the ordinary, there’s likely something behind it," the Grand Duke concluded. "I feel that Su Yu appears to be a newcomer rising at light speed, capable of consecutively performing miracles—but could there really be so many convenient coincidences surrounding one person?
I would boldly speculate that there’s someone backing Su Yu!"
"Someone? Who could it be?" Marklim asked.
Marklim had, of course, considered the possibility of Su Yu being supported by someone. It wasn’t alone in this; several Stellar-level beings in the Fegg Hub had made similar conjectures, such as Speaker Lemo, who had hypothesized that Su Yu might be an alternate identity of Legion Commander Dalanduo.
But while such guesses existed, no concrete conclusions had been reached.
"Hard to say—it’s probably the work of one of the Stellar-level individuals within the Fegg Hub," the Grand Duke speculated. "For reasons unknown, that Stellar-level being created the persona of Su Yu. It’s precisely because Su Yu was crafted by a Stellar-level that he has such a string of illustrious achievements."
Marklim nodded. "That’s certainly possible. In fact, I’ve thought of this before."
Lailin: "..."
Which Stellar-level being from the Hub created Su Yu and set such elaborate traps for him?
"But it’s also quite strange, isn’t it?" Lailin’s mind was still filled with many doubts.
He was the only individual present who had interacted with Su Yu face-to-face, yet he hadn’t sensed anything particularly extraordinary about Su Yu—it didn’t resemble the handiwork of a Stellar-level, did it?
However, Lailin didn’t voice his thoughts, as he had already embarrassed himself once earlier and had no intention of doing so again.
Intelligent Mimo’s eyes lit up, emitting red beams of light.
After a brief moment, the red glow faded, and it spoke, "Based on my calculations, this indeed appears to be the most likely scenario. Su Yu was very likely crafted by a Stellar-level being."
It turned to everyone. "If that’s the case, there’s no need for us to continue focusing on Su Yu. Instead, let’s shift our attention to the impending war."
"Agreed."
"Understood."
The attendees replied in succession.
If Su Yu was the creation of a Stellar-level being, there was indeed no point in fixating on him any longer.
Lailin was the only one among them who still harbored doubts.
But he didn’t say anything—he simply nodded slightly.
"Alright then, shift our attention back to the war," said the Grand Duke seated behind Mimo. "Returning to the topic of war—now that AI Blue Whale has recovered beyond expectations, what should we do? Should we launch an offensive immediately, or proceed as originally planned?"
The Grand Duke’s voice had barely faded when Intelligent Mimo decisively declared, "Launch the offensive now! We’ve already missed one opportunity; we can’t afford to miss a second."
It turned toward Marklim and Lailin seated below. "You two—start organizing preparations immediately! I’ll notify the Seed Preservers to act alongside us."
"Understood!" Lailin and Marklim’s spirits rose.
Finally, it was time for action!
Indeed, the operation needed to begin immediately.
Although AI Blue Whale had recovered, the Fegg Hub’s chaotic order had yet to be restored.
Now was the perfect time to attack!
