Alexander Summers didn’t come back until three o’clock in the morning.

The Spring River earthquake shook the hearts of people across the country.

Alexander had been in several meetings in a row, discussing donations of supplies, organizing civilian volunteers, and arranging for planes to drop supplies, among other things, keeping him busy until midnight.

Purple Summers didn’t want to disturb his rest, so she quietly got out of bed.
