Chapter 1611: Chapter 1172: Seeking the Time-Space Ancient Dragon

A ’very normal’ ship was slowly pushed out of the Dimensional Space by Ange. It was a very normal ship: a sharp-bottomed, wind-powered sailing vessel.

Why was it considered normal? Because ships like this were commonly seen sailing on the seas. In the Master Plane, Black Crow had over a thousand sailing ships under his command, of varying sizes and designs. The appearance of this sailing ship was highly similar to the largest three-masted ship owned by Black Crow.

However, a very normal sailing ship, when pushed out of Dimensional Space by Ange, became very abnormal. Only a lunatic would design a space-traversing ship to look like a sailing vessel.

Moreover, this sailing ship was absolutely ’huge.’ Not in terms of volume, but in its proportions. It was clearly not constructed with human dimensions in mind; it seemed designed for a Titan Giant. Just its steering wheel alone stood dozens of meters tall.

Ange spent two hours fully pulling it out of Dimensional Space, turning it from illusory to real. In that final moment of transformation, the entire ship hummed sharply and hovered mid-air.

"Seriously, this took so much effort? Just transferring it? It took the Second Order Muscle Dragon God two whole hours? Is this broken ship not even finished?" Negris questioned in confusion.

Although spatial transfer is indeed energy-intensive, it should not be difficult for Ange—certainly not enough to require the full efforts of the Second Order Muscle Dragon God for two hours to push the ship out. The energy consumption was utterly unreasonable.

With support from Little Ghost and Kram, Ange could steadily output energy over two hours. But could anyone else do the same? Could the god who built this sailing vessel do it?

This made Negris highly skeptical: the vast amount of energy consumed by Ange might not have been solely for transferring the sailing ship.

Ange nodded, confirming Negris’s speculation.

"It’s really unfinished? How much is built?" Negris asked in shock. Though it had guessed as much, being confronted with the truth still felt absurd.

Ridiculous—a half-built Divine’s Ship, picked up by Ange, and completed in two hours? No wonder it had taken so long. This Dead Skull is beyond absurd.

Ange gestured to indicate that approximately one-third of the ship had already been constructed. This meant that Ange had completed the remaining two-thirds within those two hours.

At this moment, they were already inside the Divine’s Ship. When its illusory form appeared, they instinctively followed Ange inside, leaving only Valu, who could not fly, outside.

As the Divine’s Ship gradually stabilized, a massive figure began to materialize, gazing blankly at its surroundings. It mumbled in confusion, "Huh? Didn’t the Boundary Migration Airship fail? How have I awakened?"

While mumbling, its gaze finally landed on Ange and the others below.

Clearly, this shadowy figure’s dimensions matched those of the ship. Standing at the steering wheel, its hand could effortlessly grip the handle, with its arm easily accommodating the wheel’s full range of motion.

"Was it you who awakened me, little dwarves?" the figure said while slowly shrinking its body down to a normal human size.

"Little dwarves? Excuse me? What are you even talking about? Do you know how to speak properly?" Negris exclaimed in anger.

"Me? I am the Airship Demon Spirit. Hello, Bloodline of the Jellyfish," the shadow replied politely.

"Airship Demon Spirit? Bloodline of the Jellyfish?" Anthony immediately caught onto key points, hurriedly pulling Negris aside and asking, "Who’s the Jellyfish? Why did you say it’s the Jellyfish’s Bloodline?"

The Airship Demon Spirit seemed puzzled. "Its body carries the power of the Jellyfish; isn’t it the Jellyfish’s Bloodline?"

"You mean this? We call it the Source of Water," Anthony said, producing a small bottle of Source of Water.

"Oh, you call it the Source of Water? Close enough. Mother of Water, Source of Water—they’re the same thing," the Airship Demon Spirit explained.

"And you? Are you the Demon Spirit of this airship? Is it called the Boundary Migration Airship? Why did you say it failed?" Anthony inquired directly.

He didn’t bother with any questioning tactics, as he had already sensed the Airship Demon Spirit had something of a ’truthful-answer-to-every-question’ mechanism—a strangely rigid, mechanical demeanor similar to the Holy Spirits. For instance, when Negris had asked rudely, "What are you?", it had still replied with "I am the Airship Demon Spirit," showcasing an almost naive demeanor.

The Airship Demon Spirit responded, "Because it wasn’t completed. Leonel only finished about a third before exhausting all his Divine Power and dying here. Following his last wish, I sealed him up and transformed him into the ship bow statue, but since the bow wasn’t completed, it’s temporarily stored in the lower deck."

"After I ran out of energy, I also fell into slumber. Without any intervention, this incomplete Boundary Migration Airship would’ve remained stranded at the edge of the Dimension, decaying over time. But now an anomaly has occurred. Not only have you awakened me, but you’ve completed the airship. I can sense all its regions now."

Negris and Anthony exchanged a stunned glance. Truly dead? Though it wasn’t exactly as they had speculated—that Leonel had perished from backlash caused by the Power of Time and Space—the idea of someone dying from simply exhausting their Divine Power to build an airship was equally absurd.

Leaving a last wish to have himself made into a ship bow statue? Only to have the bow remain unbuilt, with nowhere to hang him? The whole affair sounded comically outrageous.

Confirming the Airship Demon Spirit genuinely answered every question, Anthony naturally began to ask a flood of inquiries. He quickly pieced together the details of its situation.

This Boundary Migration Airship was designed and constructed by a god named Leonel, entirely through the Power of Time and Space. Leonel had pre-drawn the blueprints so the ship could be materialized through the infusion of this power, resulting in a complete vessel.

As its name suggested, the airship was capable of traversing different spaces and dimensions, even gliding along the folds of space—a truly wondrous feat.

However, tragically, this miraculous airship consumed all of Leonel’s Divine Power, and even then, it remained incomplete. In the middle of its construction, he succumbed to exhaustion. On his deathbed, he instructed the Airship Demon Spirit to transform his Divine Body into the ship bow statue, to be mounted on the airship once its construction was complete.

Yet everyone knew the likelihood of such completion was virtually zero. An incomplete, derelict airship stranded in the desolate Abyss Dimension—its steering wheel the only visible part sticking out—would remain unnoticed by most passersby.

Even for those who recognized what it was, possessing the Power of Time and Space to continue its construction was an impossibility. Thus, Leonel’s final wishes amounted to little more than a dying fantasy—a sentiment even the Demon Spirit understood, as it never anticipated its own reawakening, let alone finding the airship completed.

This was why the Airship Demon Spirit was utterly shocked upon waking. Thankfully, it didn’t know that Ange had completed the airship in just two hours; otherwise, its reaction would’ve been unimaginable.

Leonel had used all his Divine Power to construct one-third of the airship; Ange, within two hours, managed to complete the remaining two-thirds. In other words, Leonel’s entire stock of Divine Power equaled about one hour of Ange’s output.

"Now everything is settled. With the airship completed, I can travel to the Boundless Space Hole to find the Time-Space Ancient Dragon and fulfill Leonel’s final wish. Thank you all so much," the Airship Demon Spirit said.
