Chapter 98: Chapter 98: Why Do You Always Bully Me (6)

Before she could react, he fiercely kissed her lips, gulping air into her mouth. Qiao Mo’s consciousness finally cleared up a bit, greedily sucking on his lips like a starving child.

It was only after she had enough air that Qiao Mo came to her senses.

Looking at the man beside her, she felt a little lost.

She gently moved away from his lips, without making a sound.

He wrapped his arm around her waist and started swimming upward, Fu Nancheng’s expression still extremely grim.

A dozen seconds later, Qiao Mo again felt the lack of oxygen. When she was careless for a moment, a few mouthfuls of salty seawater poured in.

Fu Nancheng stopped, his large hand holding the back of her head, and once again kissed her fiercely.

Qiao Mo instinctively reached out to hold his waist, sucking in the air, but did not dare to meet his icy gaze.

After repeating this a few times, he finally swam with her to the shore.

The two of them walked towards the shore, dripping wet, both wearing their previous sleepwear.

Fu Nancheng was wearing a long-sleeve, but Qiao Mo was in a complete nightgown.

The chilly autumn wind blew, making her shiver, her beautiful lips turning a bit pale!

Qiao Mo kept silent, hugging her arms tightly, her entire body dripping with water.

As they walked, she suddenly let out a muffled groan, almost falling back into the water.

A sharp stone had cut her foot, and the salty seawater made the pain unbearable.

He glanced back at her, a touch of crimson rising in the pale seawater, quickly washed away.

He turned his gaze back without a word.

Qiao Mo gritted her teeth, not making a sound.

But with every step, the wound on her foot split open wider, the pain making cold sweat break out on her forehead.

Yet he didn’t seem to care for her at all, as if he hadn’t seen, his indifference chilling.

Qiao Mo continued walking silently, striving to keep up with his pace.

Until they completely got up to the shore, he suddenly tugged her over, his eyes red as he said coldly, "Do you want to die?"

Qiao Mo lowered her eyes without responding, her arm aching from his grip.

"Speak!" His eyes were filled with hostility.

Qiao Mo also looked at him with red eyes, flinging him away: "It’s none of your business whether I live or die!"

Fu Nancheng was almost bursting with rage, his gaze as dark as a cold pond, coldly speaking: "Say that again."

Qiao Mo’s tears suddenly welled up: "It was you who threw my ring... it was you who threw my ring into the sea!"

At the mention of the ring, a stabbing pain pierced Qiao Mo’s heart.

If he hadn’t thrown the ring into the sea, why would she have jumped in!

But now, in the vast sea, how was she going to find it?

How could she possibly find it...

Large tears mixed with the water on her cheeks rolled down, Qiao Mo had never felt so useless.

"Is that so? It seems I was just being sentimental."

Her words wounded him, and before she could react, he scooped her up around the waist, turning to walk towards the deep sea.

"What are you doing? Let me go..." Qiao Mo struggled uneasily.

"Since you want to die, I’ll fulfill your wish."

As he finished speaking, his hand loosened, ready to throw her back into the sea.

Qiao Mo shivered with fright, immediately clinging tightly around his neck, biting her lips without making a sound.

"Let go!" His voice was icy.

"No." Qiao Mo’s eyes brimmed with tears.

"Let go." His tone grew even more somber.

But instead, Qiao Mo held him tighter: "I won’t!"

He raised his hand to pry her small hand away, seemingly determined to throw her down.
