Chapter 105: Chapter 105: The Punishment for Lying (2)
It seemed that if she said one more word, he would immediately throw her into the sea to feed the fish.
Qiao Mo lowered her head, not daring to speak further, unwillingly lying on the bed.
A shadow of fierceness flashed in Fu Nancheng’s eyes. After getting on the bed, he directly leaned in from behind, his chest tightly pressed against her back, holding her waist without a word, as if only in this way could he prove she belonged to him.
Qiao Mo initially felt a bit nervous and resistant, but his embrace was exceptionally warm, carrying a faint fragrance. Unconsciously, she fell asleep, unusually stable.
Until the early morning of the third day, Qiao Mo hurriedly got up.
School had been missed for three days; now her illness was mostly healed, and today she must go to school.
Annoyingly, she had been watching movies all day yesterday and forgot to pack her luggage.
After rushing out after washing up, Qiao Mo was stunned for a moment.
In the corner were three suitcases neatly arranged, two large and one small. The two large ones were silver, hers, and the slightly smaller one was black, which she hadn’t seen before.
But weren’t the suitcases packed by her?
Qiao Mo ran over and opened one to take a look, only to find her clothes and luggage lying in the suitcase in an obsessively neat manner, categorized, without a trace of disorder.
Qiao Mo couldn’t help but freeze, instinctively turning her head toward the room’s door.
Was it him?
Just then, he opened the door and entered, meeting her gaze, glancing at the opened suitcase on the floor without explaining: "Come over and eat breakfast."
"Oh..."
Qiao Mo nodded somewhat dazedly, then quickly followed him.
"Mr. Fu, did you pack my luggage?" Qiao Mo couldn’t help but ask as she sat at the table.
"Nanny Wang packed it." He took a sip of milk, speaking blandly.
"Oh... Nanny Wang is really nice." Qiao Mo nodded while eating toast, thinking it’s true; how could she have thought it was him packing her luggage?
Fu Nancheng glanced at her faintly without speaking.
Until she got into the car, Qiao Mo took out her phone and began fiddling with it.
Fu Nancheng’s gaze fell on her, throwing out a card and said in a deep voice: "I had your previous number stopped, starting today, use this card."
Qiao Mo was stunned for a moment and instinctively asked: "Why?"
He merely looked at her without speaking, but his eyes left no room for refusal.
Looking at the new card in her hand, Qiao Mo was a bit lost, soon understanding his meaning.
"Is it... because of Jing Hao?" Qiao Mo softly spoke.
His brows slightly furrowed; he truly hated this name!
Qiao Mo placed the card aside, tightly clutching her phone, saying: "I don’t want to change."
His face immediately turned gloomy.
"At least... I want to wait until there is news from Aunt Feng." Qiao Mo said softly, her heart still reluctant.
Easily seeing through her reluctance, his gaze grew colder: "Are you thinking of having me arrange the transfer for you too?"
"You..." Qiao Mo’s eyes reddened instantly, looking at him with red eyes, unable to speak.
He coldly stared at her, attitude firm, leaving no room for doubt.
Qiao Mo looked at her phone in her hand with red eyes, not moving.
"You have one minute."
Fu Nancheng’s face completely darkened. If she weren’t only six months from graduation, he would definitely have had her transferred to another school as well.
Qiao Mo chuckled, her eyes covered with a layer of mist, directly throwing her phone onto the seat: "I don’t need it, I don’t need a phone, can Mr. Fu be at ease now?"
